Hey so where is the SPQR tattoo? Because I always imagined it as on the shoulder but in Jason’s art it’s on his forearm which just seems like a bad stylistic choice because if you’re adding a line for each year of service you’d have more space if you started on the shoulder

society if hoo had them at uni age and the lost trio went to chb and chiron is like "how tf are ANY of u alive and unclaimed". wilderness was just community college.

#on a serious note this changes a lot actually. annabeth and percy would not be in chb anymore so when percy goes missing #its like. a genuine possibility and fear because demigods don't make it that old. there is also some added time between tlo and tlh as well #further adding to jasons isolation as being even WEIRDER than everyone else. he also would've been praetor for longer so maybe the romans #wouldve cared more. this also does away with the plot hole of ppl not giving a shit that jason piper and leo (and dylan) straight up #dipped. introducing piper especially to a summer camp makes chb less appealing because they're too old for that and thus makes their #departure from chb make more sense in toa. yet also it opens up the possibility of new rome uni.... which i cannot see any reason as to why #leo would not go there!!!!! outside of being banned cuz he bombed new rome lol. but pipers sexuality arc works for college too!!! ur never #too old to find urself. but also this is the question of if you are able to relatively function in society (this is more for piper leo fran #and i guess percy) then why would you even fight this prophecy??? anyway lol them being college aged is perfect cuz percy is literally #going to a new place and having a new transition with new ppl... like u do in college LOL. now the question is would hazel still be 13. nic #is a lot older at this point and perhaps has the same age gap as bianca and him did 🤔 cant remember. but also don't know why hazel was 13 #in the first place lol. idk. in my college hoo she is just a senior in hs about to graduate from spqr and thinking about staying there or #possibly going to newru after seeing frank make the decision the previous year! The first attempt upon his life, foiled only by a lucky mistake, and the prospect of having to face the same thing again from every one of the remaining conspirators, had so shaken the king that he was coming forward with proposals for peace.

i just took 75 godly parent quizs in order to try and find out who my gidly parent is (id consider myself a hunter of artemis but she cant really be your parent) and the top two are hades and athena. im not sure on the acuracy of the athena one though cause i felt that as soon as i said i liked to read most quizes would automatically be like 'ah thats a child of athena right there' which im like so other demigods not children of athena cant like reading? so i would like other opinions as to who you think my godly parnet is

last reblog makes me wanna rant about this history novel i'm reading: it's focused entirely on mark antony and i couldn't believe my eyes when i found it and especially when i saw that it was very historically accurate until...............the author explicitly made antony say he's only into women and made curio his rapist (basically curio took advantage on multiple occasions of teenager antony while he was drunk thinking he loved him back)🧍🏻‍♂️

A very rough overview of Rome's place in the world up till the late republic:

1300-750 BCE: Rome is just another village.

750-500: Era of the kings (read: village chiefs).

500-400: Itty bitty baby republic that keeps getting into fights with neighboring villages. No one's entirely sure what a republic is, including the Romans.

400-300: Baby republic becomes moody teenage republic that beats up most of its classmates and realizes it needs, like, an actual government.

300-200: Bigger wars with Greece and Carthage! Rome becomes the dominant power in the western Mediterranean!

200-133: Rome pretty much Takes What It Wants and this causes problems for everyone...

133-30: ...Including for the Romans. High drama, civil wars and famous folks like Caesar, Pompey, Cleopatra and Cicero! Ends with the first emperor taking power, Augustus.

Based on Mary Beard's book SPQR. I'll post a more detailed timeline later.
