Stained glass windows in the administrative building of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant was one of the largest in the Soviet Union and the poster child of the Soviet nuclear power industry. As such, little expense was spared on details like these windows.

The Soviet Union often used motifs in abstract art to promote Communism and laude their successes.

let me explain: eggman represents technology used without morals, and sonic represents freedom.

tails is a narrative foil to eggman (like literally its a canon thing), having his technology knowledge, and he has sonic´s ethics. ergo, tails represents using technology for the good of society instead of for the good of one guy

(or in other words, tails represents communism)

i found a hungarian band, i was like, this reminds me of disco elysium but probably just because thats all i think about, i go on their instagram, look at the comments, someone commented "you look like you play disco elysium"

#the band is called gustave tiger and they have some songs with like clearly ironic nationalism and a lot of songs about apocalypses #and some with references to the soviets #and its like they are ironically monarchist? #the New Light Of Myanmar and the Thermidor songs are the ones that can be kinda feel elysium-ish #the later one is a little bit similar to some sea power songs. maybe. kinda. if you squint
