Don't know if people will agree with this, but I felt Nintendo missed a huge opportunity not using Paya as the fifth sage. It would have been impactful in linking the Sheikah to the main body of the story, as well as adding depth to her character that isn't revolved around meek woman + infatuated with main boy character. I know they were instead trying to highlight the Zonai more by using Mineru, but I felt Links arm and the story of Sonia and Rauru got this across. It was also hard to connect as a player with mineru when she is present in just a few scenes and has no relationship to Link. I think what infuriates me the most is that they just completely erased the Sheikah influence from the first game instead of using it to continue expanding on the concepts and reminding us of breath of the wild. Majora's mask had no issue giving us nods to ocarina of time, but for some reason tears of the kingdom felt much more distanced as a sequel............anyway Paya deserved better

Like if you wanna put this into perspective, Vriska is probably my least favorite character in all of Homestuck, and yet I’m fighting for her so hard to win. She’s just like that I guess.

Saw this prompt for incorrect OC quotes and couldn't resist with a bunch of my Breach goobers. Some of them would absolutely say these things word for word in canon if I gave them half the chance to, though. XD

They're in order of when they showed up in person - Qīng, Ghost, Red, Marisol, Shio, Cam, Daruk, Tawoos, and Alondra - as well as some important honorable mentions who have only been mentioned or gotten dialogue - Star, Blake, and Creation.

Star's design is a slight spoiler, I suppose, but it doesn't reveal if they're human or impostor, so it's all good. Creation's "design" also isn't a spoiler at all, because They can look however They want, LOL. As for Shio...some of you who have seen the body horror I've done of them may be wondering why they look so normal here, but I promise there are Reasons. :3c

Kinkajou is at the wall that separates the Wild Area from Hammerlocke. Mango the Eevee is fainted on Kinkajou’s back. She doesn’t seem too heavily hurt.

Kinkajou begins to fly, Mango slipping off on Kinkajou’s back. Mango falls off, and Kinkajou turns around and catches her midair with her talons. Kinkajou says something in Dragon, which just sounds like roaring and growling to the average human.

Kinkajou flies above the Motostoke wall, she camouflages her scales, causing her to seemingly disappear. This results in it looking as if an unconscious Eevee is somehow floating over the Motostoke entrance.

They land in Motostoke, right in front of the Pokémon center. Kinkajou’s scales return to their normal colors, showing that Kinkajou is too big to enter the building.

She pokes her head in and calls out in Dragon, holding out Mango.

The people inside, reasonably, are afraid of the weird gigantic new Pokémon that none of them had seen before that was also roaring and growling.

Kinkajou pauses for a moment, and then says, in Galarian, “Help.” She nods at the unconscious Eevee.

Most of the people in the Pokémon center just stare at Kinkajou.

Then the nurse there picks up Mango. They look up at Kinkajou, nods, and takes the Eevee to the back of the center.

A few moments later, they come back, Mango following. “Alright, this Eevee should be all good now.”

Mango runs over to Kinkajou, making happy sounds.

Kinkajou smiles and says something in Dragon, then stops, trying to remember something. “Tankyu!” She calls.

Kinkajou removes herself from the doorway and flies away, Mango riding on her shoulder.]

okay so i was watching a content smp video from doctor4t the other day right and this guy is planning to blow up another player's base for revenge and he clearly has spent a lot of time planning and preparing. the day of he mentions hes stressed about blowing up a whole town and clownpierce, who is helping him, is like "welcome to the club buddy" and mentions how this is just another tuesday for him

and this got me thinking. i dont watch that many pvp focused smps so lifesteal is a pretty special beast in my eyes. compared to the wider smp communities ive been in like hermitcraft, empires, or even the life series, a lot of lifesteal players are prepared to commit acts of unimaginable violence at any given time

i think about grian saying "we prank hard and clean up harder" and im like wow this does not apply to the lifesteal smp. and i like to think about how this affects the characters. in s4 for example the amazing thing about 3ht is that they managed to stick together from the start till the end in an environment where that isnt seen very often at all, meanwhile, other players like zam were. not that to say the least. trust issues, betrayal, paranoia, violence, these are par for the course

when i first started watching lifesteal was around the time limited life was ending, and so i was like hmmmmm how would these players react if they were to be mixed with life series players. and i dont have any concrete thoughts but i guess its a fun scenario to think about. i think ppl who like the violence and bonds in life series would like lifesteal, like its that but carried over several months. the video/stream format is very different tho so maybe thats why its harder to get into

at the end of the day i think that the mechanics of lifesteal, where the most direct way of gaining power is to kill, are grounds for characters to be distrusting of one another, where those who trust are killed for it, because its easy to take advantage of that. where true friendship (in character) is rare but its also why its so treasured

i like ls cuz i can enjoy it both for the goofs and for the characters, and i think thats so cool yeah yup yu

what's the coolest thing you've learned in dirt class?

gotta be real, I thought so hard about this and I Do Not Know, but yesterday we used a carcinogen in lab. uh. they made us wear gloves and safety goggles but mine were so scratched up that I went to the fume hood and rinsed out the containers we put the carcinogen stuff in and then I went back to my group's table and threw my gloves away and took off my horrible scratched safety goggles and then I looked at the containers and was like um guys is it just me or are those still a little too yellow (the carcinogen-containing solution was yellow) and we asked a TA and she was like yeah probably go re-rinse those and so I used a different pair of safety goggles and they were SO much better and I could actually see this time so I did adequately rinse the containers yippee. that was was pretty cool

I do get the sense that you're looking for more of a fact, though, so I'll tell you that there is this website where you can look at the molecular structure of different soils and it is super cool!

(ignore that it's on smectite. I just put it there because that's what I was looking at. btw smectite has crazy shrink-swell properties so do not build your house on it)
