Do you have any prompts for a usually funny and hides insecurity behind humour/a strong character being poisoned/drugged and being forced to be vulnerable around others? Usually they’d always have a joke or a bright idea on their tongue, but now they can’t really form coherent sentences right now as they’re delirious.

I have a few - great concept!

I can imagine that it's deeply unsettling for the caretakers to experience this at the very least. Because it's so out of character for them.

^ As a result of this, maybe the whumpee tries to escape medical/hide away to avoid subjecting the caretakers to this. Despite how upsetting the situation is, the caretakers are more overrun by worry than being put off by the whumpee.

I like the idea of the whumpee becoming frustrated, because their brain is working at a snails pace, they're struggling to be understood, they're uncomfortable and unwell, but it feels like everyone is crowding them. It gets a bit much for them.

"[whumpee]'s quiet." It's two words that have the other caretakers stop in their tracks. Quiet and [whumpee] do not go together.

Maybe in a fit of delirium, they reveal things about themselves/their past that they've kept to themselves all these years.

^ bonus points if it's their insecurities. The caretaker could say something along the lines of "...you're kind and funny...", to which the whumpee responds: "I have to be... if not you'll realise just how useless I am and you'll want me off the team."

BOOKS IT to the matoba compound #4. goes inside. presumably matoba lackeys try to stop him bc their boss is in an important meeting but somehow he gets past them #(possibilities here are v fun to think about. maybe natori does this all the time and they're used to it. maybe he's never done it before #but they're all on orders to let natori in if he ever shows up. maybe natori convinces them he's supposed to be IN the meeting #which is great because it sounds like some important clan thing so what is he in the clan now??) #5. interrupts matoba's meeting like 'i need you' and matoba's like 'bye everyone whatever this is is more important' #6. they get in natori's comical apple car (again the apple car is not canon don't worry about it) #& natori drives like a bat out of hell back to homura. Hello! Sorry if you've been asked this before, but how does Void function in the AUs where a Vessel can reproduce and have a child? How does it interact with and/or combine with living flesh?

I've always interpreted Void as being very 'consume-y' with how it interacts with living things, in a sort of 'eat and liquefy everything not exposed to light (aka all internal organs)' sort of way, but I'm interested to see how others interpret it, and how they counter that interpretation for the sake of Cute Vessel Babies lmao.

[Also sidenote, all of your fankids are adorable and have such neat designs! I reiterate my previous suggestion of giving Hollow 10 more. They deserve it. Treat them :) ]

In FaaF specifically, the void can function in a semi-symbiosis with a host, unless it enters the bloodstream which is when it becomes super dangerous, or it reaches a certain threshold in the body where it consumes the person

Though I imagine regardless of that, it works exactly like how the eggs in the Abyss did, combines with the fetus and hollows them out. Though maybe it could be a bit different since I'd assume the gametes involved in the fertilisation are already at least partly made of void.

#i’m just… so worried about my brother. #he was diagnosed with ptsd a couple years ago after being traumatized by things he saw in a courtroom as a juror #and the subject of this trial is widely publicized and is all over the news periodically and probably always will be to some extent #and i know he has so much support and i know he wants to help. but he can’t find a therapist with his insurance right now #and him and i are the only ones in my whole family who use social media. which means that i feel like i need to always be watching the news #so i can warn his wife to keep him away from his phone or at least pass on the warning so he can mentally prepare #but it just isnt fair because he put his safety on the line to be a juror at this trial and he helped bring much needed justice #and i’m very proud of him for that. like beyond measure #but also… now i’m also always going to live with this… like. worry for him. and i know you worry about the people you love but #it’s just so overwhelming sometimes. and i wish the world was a better place #because then none of this would be happening. like this all because of an evil person who was protected by an evil system #anyway if you read all of that thanks i guess lol sorry i just super needed to vent that out #i don’t talk about it often for reasons i hope you can infer #remind me to call and schedule a therapy appointment tomorrow lol

i mean exactly that! especially the german "ich liebe dich" is so heavy and, at least in my experience, not used so lightly. and not just that, german is very clear. i believe that mick and seb can talk about other stuff much more easily in german because its obviously more comfortable for them but when it gets to them and their relationship its like they have no words left. 🍄

oh yeah i think love confessions in your first language are absolutely terrifying (to be fair, dirty talk is also mortifying, at least in mine lmao). but yes! talking about racing or the improvements in mick's performance must feel much more real during their one-on-one discussions than when they're speaking english with the team or with charles around. i think one of the recurring themes in EA (for me - not much of this is in writing, but maybe some in @antimonyandthyme 's EA tag) is "show, not tell" which yes, it is writing advice (lol) but it's also mick's tactic to deal with a sebastian absolutely unwilling to talk about his feelings or mick's for that matter.

#sorry for personal posting on main but ah #i am losing my mind these days lol #i have no sleep schedule i just nap all the time n it kinda works but also i hate waking up at 2/3pm #but i just cannot stop #i don't actually have an official narcolepsy diagnosis yet in spite of my drs agreeing that's what it is #i did an mslt in February and was told I'd get my results in early march at the latest #it's may and I've heard nothing #called the number i was given and was transferred like 4 times before being told to just call my gp #who said they hadn't gotten any results so there was nothing they could tell me #i had to fight so hard to get an mslt in the first place because they just keep diagnosing me with depression #and yknow if i have depression it's BECAUSE of the sleep disorder lol like i cannot stay awake i fall asleep constantly #I can't sit down to write or watch a film or anything atm #i keep saying new bite me or gonna write another 500 drabble and then i'm out cold on and off til 3am #i'm exhausted all the time it rules my life i make plans around it and cancel any that are before noon #and if ik i have something important i have to be up early for i literally do not go to sleep bc ik I won't wake up #it's ruining my entire life lmao but i just get told i have depression or. have my mslt results lost?? ig?? #was on the phone for over a half hour and just entirely broke down crying afterwards like i could not stop #eventually i just told myself to get a grip and started researching private clinics cuz i can save enough for private treatment if i try #and they listen more when you're paying them aha it's just narcolepsy is so rare most places don't even know of it #it's likely I'll have to travel to london and shell out a fortune to even try getting any answers but living like this is #just so unsustainable like i wanna do a degree and get a 'real job' #anyway sorry for the big tag ramble and personal posting i have had a rough morning but.
