"No, Lamb, I do not fear Him. I do not fear you sending me to Him. Narinder and I will always meet, it is but the natural order of things, for War will always bring Death its harvest."
had another go at Shamura again....and just a little chat between them and the Lamb :) Decided to give Shamura a sickle for fun....to match with Narinder's scythe....just some silly agrarian tools of death!

CONCEPT DOODLES for an AU I dabbled in with a few friends after the winter king episode but kinda forgot about after the Fionna and Cake finale... I decided to revisit it and explore a little more after coming to terms with everything LOL... So, it's another "Winter King doesn't die immediately after his crown gets nuked" AU, but THIS TIME he's just dying really slowly (like Simon in the Betty episode) and ALSO joins Fionna, Cake, and Simon on their search for magic crowns. There's no logic behind this tbh, we just wanted to put him through The Horrors. And make them all friends. But mostly The Horrors. :) (he only gets to live as a treat, because I think he's funny).
Bonus (old screenshot), because this is still funny to me:

Kanade's an okay character and the twins dynamics are interesting (though tragic), i'll say that. i feel like her character and the twins' dynamic could've been handled better and have more depth? Linuj says that she would've been a horrid person even without hibiki's treatment of her, yet its questionable when he says this because what motivated her to form this way was how hibiki abused her in childhood, her comforting hibiki which was the first closest moments of her feeling loved (and power), and her parents are hardly there. we can assume the twins as children did not get the psychological (mental) needs they needed as children—children don't just suddenly abuse other kids or are "born evil" (the second is what linuj keeps implying about Kanade).
the fans' and Linuj's commentary on Kanade being abused as a child is so skewed, despite the abuse being the first notable events that lead her to become like this. apparently to many fans, abuse is "deserving" because she's "born evil." all of the reasons that could lead kanade to who she is now is suddenly buried because she's more of a "shock factor." she's less fleshed out and less of an actual character because suddenly the abuse she experienced while young and the physiological needs she (and Hibiki too) needed is... all wasted (and justified). The implications of the twins' dyanmics being so tragic because it mainly consisted of it being fueled by unbalanced power dynamics to use power as a replacement for their psychological needs is hardly remarkable... Because Kanade is "born evil." So fucking cheap.
Kanade would've been a good example of the desire for love transforming into something more twisted because the only way she could get love is by force. but alas her potiental has been wasted.
