I wonder how Gaon and Yohan are going to explain the change in their interactions to Elijah, since it's going to be obvious to her that something has happened between them. Since Elijah knows that there's nothing between Gaon and Soo hyun, I wonder if she will play a role in clearing Yohan's misconception? Thanks for the update! I can't stop thinking how many ways this story can play out😅 Btw i really appreciate the time and effort you put into responding to our questions with such detail.

That definitely depends on who's doing the explaining xD Yo Han would just brush it off and pretend that nothing is happening — which would just piss her off — while Ga On would make a stilted effort to explain without making it too obvious what it's actually about. Which would also annoy her.

That poor girl, seriously. She doesn't deserve to get caught between these two idiots.

I'm not sure I agree that Elijah "knows" that there was nothing between Ga On and Soo Hyun, though. I think she very much thinks there was something between them. I mean, sure, they denied it when she asked if they were dating, but THE WAY they did so was pretty telling (especially in Soo Hyun's case). Even more so since Elijah is a bit... well, innocent? I think most of her experience with love comes from media, books etc. and how Ga On and Soo Hyun behaved is, well, straight from a drama xD

And Elijah also had that talk with Soo Hyun when they were eating ice cream on Ga On's terrace, where it became pretty obvious that Soo Hyun is in love with Ga On and has already confessed to him several times.

So I think Elijah very much believes they were in love. Which means she won't really play a role in convincing Yo Han otherwise — if asked, she'd probably only make it worse, even. Because her understanding of love is a bit superficial and probably pretty geared towards straightness. That's not to say that she's not aware of gay people (I think she might actually know more about that than Ga On does xD) but from the evidence she's seen both Ga On and Yo Han seem straight to her (because I can't imagine that Yo Han has flaunted his dalliances with other men in front of her).

I know I'm very, very firm about this but Elijah doesn't know that Yo Han and Ga On have the hots for each other. And not because she's stupid, but because she's grown up in a country where straightness is the norm and Yo Han has done everything he can to hide the depth of his and Ga On's relationship from her. Also, she's a self-centred teenager x'D

Like, take me for an example. I was around 23-24 and very comfortable in my own pansexuality but was still IN NO WAY PREPARED when my mum basically went: "I may only have had sex with two women in my life but, let me tell you — 10/10, would recommend." Because I had only ever seen her date and talk about men before and therefore assumed she had no interest in anything else. That's how easy it is to miss that someone close to you isn't entirely straight — especially if it's a parent/guardian.

So I really don't think that Elijah would notice until it gets a lot more obvious than this xD

Which wasn't technically what your ask was about (sorry for the tangent xD), but still important to know because Elijah really won't be all that helpful when it comes to Yo Han and Ga On figuring out their feelings for each other. In fact, she might just end up making things harder for them without meaning to. But more about that in later chapters ;)

ANYWAY. Thank you so much for the lovely ask! I'm so happy to hear that people are this excited and involved in my story! And, tbh, I can't help replying because I'm very excited, too, and love talking about my writing, my thoughts, and my takes on these characters. How could I resist? More often than not, I have to cut my answers short because I keep writing longer and longer ones.

Like, you guys have no idea how long the first drafts of my author's notes usually are. One time I had to cut half of it because it was reaching truly spectacular lengths. And sure, I know that some of you probably wouldn't complain if I had posted that first draft, but I'm trying to contain myself, okay? And also not reveal too much since it might end up spoiling future plot points. It's a constant struggle.

So yeah. I'm actually consciously holding back a lot of the time because I'm trying to not come off as completely unhinged x'D

Actual footage of me coming up for air after being stuck in planning / plotting / hyperfixation hell for days xD

So the plan was that Athena - curious about the "human experience" and intrigued by Odysseus for the virtues they share - offers him personal mentorship in exchange for a place in his crew for the duration of his journey home to Ithaca under the guise of a Trojan girl named Thea... and things happen.

Now that I have been busy brushing up on the Iliad and Odyssey (and being stuck in an "Epic The Musical" spiral as it's the current hyperfixation of the heir to my ADHD) I am having doubts as to the plausibility of this set up.

Because I have a feeling that a lot of the stops and pitfalls that make the Odyssey would be reduced to three minute discussions of the "yeah no maybe let's not to that, I know everyone's very hungry but there are ONE EYED GIANTS WHO EAT HUMANS on that island sooooOoooo" variety xDD

So, new and improved set up - in the prologue Athena is furious after witnessing Odysseus' men desecrating her temple in Troy and Zeus offers to punish them/teach them a lesson. She tells her father to pick Odysseus for punishment since it was his men and thus his responsibility.

Zeus puts the infant son of Hector in Odysseus' path, telling him he has to kill him (knowing full well that the child must remind the man of the son he left at home; the son he saved by going to fight another king's war).

But because he is this story's male protagonist (and because I am a wuss who always skips "Just a Man" because it makes her too sad), Odysseus dosn't kill the boy. He instead takes him out of the city and leaves him to grow up with a pair of farmers (probably telling them some sad tale about a Trojan girl who fell when the city got sacked and how the child didn't deserve to die blablabla).

Athena, while still iffy about her temple, is intrigued by the fact that a general, who is very much responsible for the fall of Troy, would spare this child, even though he was told the boy would grow up to avenge his father and his city.

Long story short, she wants to spend some time with this human - nothing new to the Gods as they always crave what mortals have, but unique to Athena, who has always - always - kept her distance to the human world, because she felt that it would have been unwise to get too close to them (can we blame her, look at her dad).

However, there are rules to these "Human Experieces"

she gives up her physical link to Olympus, there is still a spritual/telepathical of sorts connection with the other gods, but no "magic" / no "sees all, knows all" / no "blink and you're outta here / flick your favourite human pet out of harm's way"

her "human" form might be immortal (since it's not realy a human, but only a guise for her to "wear"), but that is as far as being a goddess will get her - she is still a great warrior and exceptional with many a weapon, but she is neither superhumanly strong, nor is she immune to being decked in the face (which is relevant as she duels Odysseus for a place in his crew)

no intervening, no straight up telling the humans what to do to save their asses, she may offer guidance, she may assisst, but she cannot point blank tell ppl to just shoot the cyclops in the eye

And that's why even with Athena on board, the Odyssey doesn't get reduced to to three minute discussions of the "yeah no maybe let's not to that, I know everyone's very hungry but there are ONE EYED GIANTS WHO EAT HUMANS on that island sooooOoooo" variety... ^^

Also, it's been too much thinking and hyperfixating so I can't tell if that's actually better or worse.

28. Inquisitor’s feelings on being the Herald of Andraste?

June: Hates it so much. Being pushed into a religious position is *exactly* what she escaped from from her family, and now it is being done again on an even greater scale. She vehemently denies being the Herald, but up until HLTA there was a tiny part of her wondering if it could be true, which frankly just made it worse (finding out that she was right about the Andraste thing not being real was a huge weight off her shoulders)

Ari: He does not believe in Andraste and consequently does not believe in being the Herald one bit, and isn't thrilled about being called such. And while he does not actively support it, he is well aware that denying it would neither work nor help, so he begrudgingly lets it slide.

35. Who do you want to see return in the next game?

MM there's a bunch of characters who'd be cool to see imo! Most of the DA2 cast are the first that come to mind, for different reasons; Fenris has business in Tevinter plus the whole wolf theming, Merrill has her eluvian business going on (which i think could be super interesting if she was brought in), Isabela gets around a lot and could easily be included imo (i've seen a post abt the possibility of having her ship as a home base for the next protag and i would love that so much), Anders is more unlikely i suppose but having him and Justice turn up again could be v cool. Sebastian and Aveline have less reason to be there probably but depending on how they stood with Hawke and the Inquisition they could turn up. And we already know Varric is gonna be there xd

Otherwise, i'd love to see Connor or Feynriel again! Especially Feynriel, him being a dreamer and all, and with him possibly having gone to Tevinter to study magic. And Valta!! For obvious Dwarf Lore related reasons. And/Or whoever was named Orzammar's king in DAO! I wanna know how Orzammar is doing pretty please...

Would be nice to maybe see Bull and his chargers again, or Sera! Because i love them and bc they are mercs and a red jenny respectively which means they Get Involved In Stuff and if they dont at least get a cameo i am going to be very sad.

... that got longer than expected lmaoo, sorry x'D

Lady Dimitrescu

Lady Dimitrescu has always taken care of herself and her daughter's, along with castle Dimitrescu. After all, they all needed to look perfect and presentable for any visitors/guests.

So when she notices that you've been showing a few signs of sickness. She's quick to act, carefully grabbing your arm. Lady. D then started guiding you to her room to rest.

She stopped when she felt you trying to wiggle out of her grip.

She honestly didn't think you'd start fighting with her.

" (Y/N), quit this whining. Your sick, which means you should rest. " Alcina said rather calmly, as she watched you continue to struggle like a spoiled child.

" I'm not sick. So let. me. go. " You raised your voice ever so slightly at her.

She was a little taken back, sure her daughter's would argue with her every now and than but she didn't expect this from you.

" don't start this now, (Y/N). " She warned you.

But the more and more you denied that you're sick. The more she became annoyed.

She isn't scared to punish you for raising your voice at her.

Her daughter's give you major respect for raising your voice at their mother. Even they know better.

Lady. D can and will use her true form to keep you from going anywhere.

Once you decide to behave, she'll have you lay down while the maids or her daughter's fetch you something to eat or a drink of your choice. Even though you refuse to eat or drink anything at the moment.

Honestly, your just as stubborn as her idiot brother.

She'll definitely scold you when you ' feel better '.

Hopefully you did learn a lesson, because the next time you're ' not sick ' she won't be so kind.

Karl Heisenberg

Karl takes very little care of himself, and could probably care less about his own health, I mean as long as he gets his work done.

But, as strange as it is, the moment he notices your sick. He's quick to act. Much to your dismay.

This ends up with the two of you arguing. Like, a lot. Like to the point where y'all say things you didn't mean to say.

" For f*cks sake. Buttercup, you're sick, you need to rest! " Heisenberg growled while watching you sit back down. You scoffed slightly while looking away from him. " So you can overwork yourself, but I can't continue my work. " You replied.

" That's because your f*cking sick- " he was quick to cut himself off, knowing you wouldn't listen. " you know what, do whatever the hell you want. At this point, I don't care what you do. " He said, out of pure annoyance and anger.

Heisenberg actually gave up for a while. He couldn't deal with you, if you say your fine then your fine.

You actually felt somewhat bad. That and your nonexistent sickness was getting a little worse. And you knew that the lycans couldn't take care of you.

So you want to find Heisenberg- to apologize and ask if he can take care of you.

Once you do apologize and all that, He'll scold you a bit before going to get medicine from the Duke.

He ends up buying everything because he has zero idea what he's doing.

He won't really want to cuddle as much as Lady. D, but if you really need and or want human affection. Then he'll cuddle with you.

If this happens again, he'll try to be a bit nicer. But if you start mouthing off, then your on your own.

Donna Benevento + Angie

Donna, much like Lady. D does her best to take good care of herself, Angie + all of her dolls along with her house. So, upon hearing that your sick. She panics a little.

Is this just a normal kind of sickness ? Or is it something she should start worrying about ?

Angie on the other hand thinks your full on dying, I mean, she's a doll and never really been sick, nor has she ever seen Donna sick. So seeing you like this. Is all somewhat new to her.

And even if it's just a simple cough or occasional throwing up. Angie will rush around looking for Donna, so she can help you.

You don't really argue with Donna that much, and if you do then you try not to yell. It's Angie who you kinda get mouthy with.

" Angie, (Y/N) isn't dying. They're just sick. " Donna said while placing down a small tray of tea. " Yeah, I'm fine Angie, it's just a cough. " You said, while denying the fact that you were sick.

It takes Angie a moment to realize that you aren't dying. The doll yelled at you for scaring her before she clings onto your arm.

But other then that they're pretty relaxed.

Donna will go into the village to ask The Duke or some of the villagers for some medicine. While Angie and her dolls keep you company.

Like mentioned before, you do try your best not to argue with them.

Otherwise you'll be sleeping in the basement.

Donna will check on you from every now and then. If you need anything, she'll be quick to bring you blankets from the spare rooms or make you a special cup of tea.

Angie usually keeps you comfort while Donna does that.

Salvatore Moreau

Moreau does try his best to take good care of himself. So when he hears that you are now sick. He freaks out.

He thinks that this sickness will hurt you, or possibly kill you if it isn't probably taken care of.

He hates seeing you argue with him. But like Lady. D, he can and will use his full form too keep you from continuing your work.

" Moreau, I appreciate all of this. But I promise I'm not sick. " You replied as he carefully pushed you down in front of the t.v. He thought that t.v would help you.

" But..you are sick. " He spoke in a more serious tone then usually.

You signed softly and sat down.

Much like Donna and Angie, you tried not to argue so much with him. Because you know what he could do, if angered.

Moreau brings you snacks, movies- borrowed from the Duke while he works on medicine for you.

During the time that your ' sickness ' he'll talk less about Miranda and ignore most of her orders.

He honestly doesn't care if he himself also gets sick, he just wants you too feel better.

He panics whenever he sees you try to leave the bed.

He's really just trying his best.
