Oh yes plenty. After he came into power he was subjected to a number of Battle Royales as others tried to kill him off for exactly that. He only gets the odd challenge nowadays since it’s been proven he is less likely to die than people initially thought. 

Not an odd q at all, I have had one picked out for him (and my other characs) for quite a while haha! His is snapdragons.

Off the top of my head I have no idea what this scene looks like but here’s something thematically similar i prepared (years) earlier you might be interested in lol.

Short answer: no he doesn’t [kill everyone he takes an interest in]!

Long answer: it depends on how much of a vested interest Rire has in someone and what he might decide he wants from them. And since Rire can blend in with humans, yes there are many people over the years who may have interacted with him a bit and have no idea he is a demon.

Sounds like in HellTaker most of the demons are of one species/race :) In my lore there’s a bunch of different species/races so they have some different physical characteristics and power sets etc from each other. Here’s some of them (most of these are not coloured fully btw):

It’s soft and silky, and thick. Sometimes he uses product (maybe to keep his hair looking a certain way at long Sector meetings or events or whatever) but otherwise it’s usually natural.

HH Rire more so than BP Rire. Though BP Rire’s usage of “little + [descriptor]” does straddle that fine line of either being a pet name or just a descriptor, and he does that a lot.

Oh it’s not that strange don’t worry, i actually often get questions like this |D From my FAQ:

CAN RIRE FEEL LOVE? I don’t know if you could classify what he feels as “love” in the same definition we are used to…

And from an answer to a similar q a while back:

Perhaps he may become fond of someone because they really maintain his interest and then he may become possessive; this isn’t necessarily a positive thing but you can take that how you want haha.

I think people would like me to give a more definitive answer but it’s more fun to leave it open to interpretation.

So, any headcanon on Sasha and Marcy's parents and how they reacted when finding out their daughters went missing and how they reacted when they returned?

Its probable that we'll get more info on them with Marcy's journal or from future Q&As with the AmphibiCrew however here's a few I can think of off the top of my head until we get that info (well, if we get it):

The Waybrights are divorce, this is canon. Sasha is living with her dad but visits her mom on the weekends, well, on the weekends that she isn't staying over at Anne's or Marcy's.

The Wus moved for Mr. Wu's job but kept in contact with the Boonchuys and Waybrights. After receiving the letter from Anne they tried to contact them but at that point the Boonchuys were training with Mr. X.

When Sasha went missing both parents blamed the other for her disappearing and hired private investigators but after 3 months with no leads they gave up. After Anne's letters however they renewed their search.

When Sasha came back they saw that she'd changed a lot and while she didn't tell them everything, they were more willing to believe the world of talking frogs after the Frog Invasion. They had a deep conversation which went nowhere but at least they agreed to stop fighting so much....at least while Sasha is around.

After Marcy came back, Mr. Wu decided to spend more time with her. He doesn't understand everything she's interested in but at least has a surface level knowledge of it. Mrs. Wu blamed Marcy's friends for her disappearing, even after the trio get married she still holds a grudge against them.

After Marcy left highschool, Mrs. Wu kept trying to set Marcy up on blind dates in the hopes that she'd forget Anne and Sasha. She was devastated when Marcy started dating them and eventually got engaged. (not in a homophobic way, she's fine her daughter is pan but because she still blames Anne and Sasha)

At the trio's wedding, Sasha had to apologize for her parents trying to outdo each other with their gifts. Mr. Wu showed up and his gift was paying for their honeymoon, Mrs. Wu didn't come which disappointed Marcy but knew she wouldn't come.

Mr Waybright went with Sasha and Anne to a few Pride events as a supervisor, only for himself to learn that he wasn't as straight as he thought he was.

Mr. Waybright, Boonchuy and Wu went golfing once... Mr Boonchuy not only got a hole-in-one on the hardest hole but accidentally sliced a ball which hit a nearby tree and hit Mr Wu square in the forehead. They didn't hang out alone again after that.

Mrs. Waybright and Mrs. Wu fear Mrs. Boonchuy...the event that caused this fear isn't spoken of again.

Mr. Wu tried to get Marcy a job at the company he works at for the summer in college but she then admitted to him what she wanted to pursue as a career. He was disappointed but after seeing her art he said that the offer is still on the table whenever she wants but as long as she can make money from her art he won't complain.

The best way to describe Mrs. Waybright is the Earth equivalent of Terra Snapdragon.

Hopefully we get more info about them soon™ and I can adjust my headcanons but for now I'mma avoid doing much with them in comics...for now...
