i’ve been following ur writing for some time now and i do have to agree with that anon who said you did CH dirty. you are a very talented writer so it’s just hard to watch.

you started off CH so strong with the lore and little chapters here and there but as it progressed you kind of just got lazy and it shows. when important events happened in the story, they weren’t conveyed through writing but through the texts (ie the riki and yn fight, that was definitely worth a written chapter) and it was honestly disappointing.

the ending isn’t much to say about either. yn and hoon barely go through development after the letter incident and all of a sudden they’re dating and married with a kid like two chapters later?

idk, if it was a mental health issue then i get that but even then you should’ve just gave it a break and thought everything out more. you could do so much better.

i wanna put you through the progess of a piece of writing from the POV of a writer okay? now keep in mind: i work two jobs, am a fulltime uni student and the daughter of an immigrant household with two parents who still work most of the day just so you know what else i have to deal with, besides my mental health okay?

now, i started off CH strong right? yes. i uploaded on the daily, fine i chose that. a chapter usually takes me around one hour if i actually sit down and focus on nothing but the chapter itself, which includes IG stories, editing, formatting etc. alright

on top of the daily chapters, i constantly replied to 40+ asks a day, a blessing in disguise because no matter how much i enjoy talking to you guys, the pressure does get worse the bigger that number of my inbox becomes, i hope this makes sense

now, i started CH back in october, right when my semester started, thats why i started off strong but as time went on, my assignments and private life got too busy and i guess i felt entitled enough as a writer to skip a few certain chaps and make life a little easier for me by making them regular chapters instead of written ones.

and this is gonna be my main point: i'm not a machine. i wrote a minimum of 5 THOUSAND words per written chapter, MINIMUM. we're talking about a 5-9 THOUSANDED worded chapter EACH WEEK. which usually took me about 6-7 hours, even allnighters.

yes, i chose to do that and maybe my time management wasn't the best but i had to create a compromise where i wouldnt have let you guys wait for over two months which would have resulted in me losing my motivation completely, and yet still focusing on EXAMS. because you know, i'm a fulltime uni student with TWO jobs 😮‍💨

if YOU think i did CH dirty go write an alternative ending yourself but it should be a minimum of 15 chapters including 5 written ones, with at LEAST 9k words each yeah? i wanna see you manage it all, pls prove me wrong snd show me you're better than me i'm genuinely begging bc it might inspire me to do "better" next time.

as a writer/artist/creator, and i can tell you probably arent one yourself or havent been one for long, the longer smth takes to come to an end the worse the pressure becomes which results in a blockage i dont wish upon my worst enemy i'm being deadass. i dealt with some of the worst writer's block ive had since i started writing literally 12 years ago and you're telling me i should have just "taken a break" and do "better"

i never, ever expected anything from anyone but some of you are so entitled to a writer's time and skill it's giving me a headache. maybe you didn't like the timing and writing of the last few chapters of CH and i guess that's unfortunate but this was so unnecessary because you completely dismissed everything else that could have been going on in my life and even belittled my mental health issues like im some fucking AI writing machine

do better, be nicer, write it yourself if you don't like it i'm so fucking over this

if i had gotten out of my own comfort and wellbeing and have actually written another set of written chapters i would have burned myself completely out. ive been in this fandom for not even a year and have already finished FOUR smaus with 50 chapters each, you do NOT get to tell me what i should or could have done better because you dont even give a fuck about me as a person this is just about receiving what YOU think YOURE entitled to but this is MY art and I will do what I see fit even if it's not what was expected of it because i'm a fucking human being with a life before i'm a writer on tumblr

It's a big house

You two get plenty of space to keep your stuff and the spare rooms are for visiting friends and family

He fills every wall he can with photos of you, his family, and his friends

Overall his house is very cozy with soft seats and nice wooden furniture

But he also decorates with his heart, there are sentimental items throughout the house

Gaz

A small London apartment

His accent screams London and I think city life suits him

London prices are high so the apartment has only the space you need, no spares rooms except for a home office if you need one

Gaz has a driving license but doesn't have a car because he is too use to the convenience of London public transport, there's a bus stop right outside the building

His decorating style is clothes on the floor 😮‍💨

The guarantee is really good electronics

Nice TV, fancy coffe machine, roomba

Outskirt of a village or a remote location

Simon is from Manchester but following his childhood there I don't think he'd be happy living there

I also can't imagine him enjoying bustling cities or even towns

He's a private man and he wants to keep you safe so having more than five neighbours is a no-go

His decorating skills are non existent

You have to decorate and he'll just help you assemble furniture

Has one room in the house with no windows and it's just filled with blankets and pillows, he does not explain this and you just have to accept it's there

This is entirely because I love the idea, a ranch

Or maybe if I'm being more realistic it's a decent sized house in a suburban area

But the ranch idea is more fun so let's work with that

It's about a forty minute drive from the nearest city

It's a really big place, bigger than it needs to be

On enof those where the garage is separate to the main house

The bedroom has a giant bed and en suite bathroom

His kitchen has a table that seats more people than you know

Giant TV in front of the comfiest sofa you've ever experienced

König had a bit of trouble while looking for places to live because he's too tall for doorways

I was looking at the standard door height in most countries and the highest was 6'8". Poor guy.

Door issue aside he'd like his privacy and he has social anxiety so I think he'd be another city hater

His house is probably big but it doesn't feel like it

1) because he's massive and so everything seems small in comparison

2) he's a fan of organised mess

Something about filling a house to the brim with stuff you like and definitely need is soothing

And you can't call it a mess because according to him everything is organised

Price

His home country of Herefordshire (I don't blame him, the place is nice)

I don't think we ever learn where in Herefordshire he is from so I'll presume he was from the city of Hereford and I can't see him living there still

It's a nice city but the villages are nicer but there is another reason

Price was part of the SAS (Special Air Service) which is based in Hereford. More specifically the base is just outside the village of Creden Hill.

His house has such a comforting vibe to it

In Olmeda, Las Almas

I think Ruddy would be in a similar mindset of Alejandro in regards to keeping his S/O a secret and Olemda doesn't receive too much cartel activity

For reference Olemda is the town in the campaign during the mission hardpoint... The one you mostly blow up using a helicopter. Whoops

Asides from that little incident the town isn't too far from Las Almas and isn't entirely ravaged by the cartel

The most lived in room in the kitchen

You too cool together and eat together and then sit at the table and just talk for hours

Because of this the kitchen is the most loved room

Soap

One of the towns outside of Glasgow

I don't know from which part of Scotland Soap is from but I feel like he likes Glasgow

One of the few guys on this list aside from Gaz who likes living in cities

There's more shops and they're easier to get around. Oh, and more restaurants! (He can hardly take you to a restaurant for a date if there aren't any around)

He knows your neighbour's names, how many pets they have, and when they last went on holiday

He spends a lot of time on the front garden just talking to them when they bump into each other

I hate to say this but he probably has a "Man-Cave" but it's a cool room and he asks you to spend time in there with him

To me it is a difference because guy from neighborhood is more.. ,,real" option. It's not like zero chances for relationship then. But yeah, I usually wait till it will pass because I know it's not returned. My whole love life is some weird and also toxic guys hitting on me and me avoiding them or it's me crushing on someone who's very different from me, who has the features that I wish to have. Jungkook is from the same pattern. I always crush on rebels with unique style who are confident and bold. Why? Because I suffer anxiety for ages, my individuality was dimmed by my strict, judgmental family and i used to blend with crowd to avoid conflicts. The rural opposite of JK or any of my crushes. Another obstacle are my trust issues and low self esteem after being bullied for ages and two of my crushes actually making fun of my interest in them. Long story short (I won’t be able to type much since I hav fever n low pressure due to my wisdom tooth it’s unbearable) those same ppl who hammered my Bath set which I’d taken with a lot of enthusiasm for I always, always wanted that style since before we even had it in India, they also ruined my two extra tiles and wasted them including one additional highlighter tile, luckily we found one more tile, so the contractor who had come (we had only asked for a plumber) they’d already utilised those extra tiles and not only had they put the back component tilted but the tile was also cut slant (as per their stencil or outline) and so were the internal pipes, they were all tilted and for some reason they thought we’ll be very happy with their work, or a slant mixer 😡😡😡now we’ve used that one last tile which was missing and we’ve called someone from the company itself to fix the thermostat but when we tried to fit the bottom Bath set we realised that they had also messed with the lower area and we were told we’ll have to remove one more tile YET AGAIN after fitting the bathtub and door, we had already ordered 2 extra tiles luckily the shopkeeper charged us the same old price but since it’s already been a year the batch is completely different so they don’t look the same, they are lighter… and we had already fixed my tub 🛁 back in the same position cuz the exposed part has to be put after keeping the tub there, the bathtub has to fit first and then the spout (plus mixer, crutch, etc.) the plumber had to do his own scraping & cutting and it took almost an hour, we ended up having a gap so we did some more cutting phew 😮‍💨 I’m glad it’s done now… except for the thermostat, we’ll be calling someone from the company cuz plumbers are not able to align it and do the setting and all. The other plumbers were actually using the Panna or spanner 🔧 on my set, it had big teeth so it not only peeled off the coating but also left several scratches and dents, that too on the front part which had my fav hot and cold written on it (luckily only one side) I do feel blessed there are bloggers who are buying from Aliexpress also… they have a like “signature”/sign from which you can make out that it’s from there, if we still had it in India I would’ve also considered that because all this was not initially available here, they look cool they have cursive fonts which are very fancy and some also have a bigger lever not just a dongle but the front has a switch sign which looks like a pair of headphones at first glance haha that’s the only con other than the handshower shape. Buying from there is risky and if it’s only for the cursive part then I won’t recommend that i really don’t know why they are spending there cuz as long as I remember the prices are not that low… and it looks like a copy/knock off sometimes.

The thermostat is pending, the new plumber was not that skilled but he managed the mixer really well inspite of the fact that the tiles were not cut properly and everything had gone wrong in that area, he had a smaller spanner he said these brands make products which are more delicate so you can’t use those bigger ones, he wrapped it in plastic and then used a cloth to tighten the set to protect the coating, he also wiped it clean to remove all the finger prints. I love the functioning and all so I’m happy with this but you’ll have to check before buying from here cuz my stop cock had a minor defect, the threading was not proper so the cold insert kept falling out, they’ll have to strictly ask the dealers to keep these products in a good condition they just dump everything one on top of the other and secondly there’s availability issue too, they’ll also have to make sure they do proper quality checks before the final supply cuz that threading part comes under manufacturing. We somehow worked a way around and glued the insert. In India there are many people including me who want these English designs, don’t underestimate your own fellow citizens. I’m very happy with my IKEA faucet which also has white inserts and red and blue bands for hot and cold, I didn’t face any problem there, it came with a pipe, tape, overflow cap and drain (both) everything which was required for you to instantly put it together.

I do like this other brand but they will have to work on all those points. I’m glad my Bath set has been fixed now, the tub 🛁 looks better with this mixer because it has a European design too. This spout’s flow is way better compared to the previous one (from Kohler, they’ve fixed the health faucet but the hand showers, overhead showers and the spout are still lagging) our previous plumber had put the 2-3 way diverter valve extremely high because he had a shower column in mind even though we had told him about the bathtub and it was impossible for my hand to reach there after putting the tub (both the drop in as well as the new one) luckily since I have long hands 🙌🏻 I was able to reach the tip of the valve and I would adjust from there but it would require a lot of stretching and I would sprain my hand easily cuz I’m not even keeping well (since long) if you’ll go through the older pics on my tumblr or insta then you’ll see how high it was, next there were more issues, the diverter button would not work properly, and because there was no thermostat the water would come very hot burning hot even after switching to cold which was quite unusual it shouldn’t have been that hot… it was impossible to adjust the temperature several times while sitting in the tub and most importantly this was also full of hassles - the spout or filler, the pull and twist knob would not turn completely and even if we would gain some success the water would still keep dripping from the other outlet, the flow was poor, I would regret switching from one outlet to another cuz it would get really difficult to turn or pull or push it around… when you are in a bathtub you have to switch between the spout and the handshower if you want to use it during a bubble bath and it would take ages to fill my bathtub cuz the pressure like I said was too low & you wouldn’t get enough water, nothing was stuck inside we had asked our old plumber to clean everything and even check it after putting the bathtub, I have taken a single flow for top for the overhead shower with a thermostat (I wanted the other normal one cuz thermostats are more expensive but it had been discontinued and they didn’t have any without a diverter except for this one which is okay because as a “designer” I knew that a vertical plate would look better there) the head shower’s pressure is also very low someone told us it’s faulty and we should get it changed, they weren’t aware that even Kylie Jenner’s shower console had this issue cuz it’s from the same brand… changing the overhead shower would have incurred more expenses and I don’t even have much ceiling height cuz there’s a tank up there, all matching Victorian Bell showers/rainforest require more height and I’m a fan of those gooseneck ones but you don’t get them here, they do have a hook rail which looks similar but that would’ve required more 3-5 inches. I anyway get migraine and dry hair so I’m okay with this slower version lol and I’ll be using the tub and handshower more.

Nice, please let me know what you think when you start Succession. It's quite slow at the beginning but when shit pops off, it is so wild 🤣🤣🤣 And like, the funniest part is that no one is likeable. Like there are characters you will like, but at the end of the day, everyone is a piece of shit and no matter who you might root for, it's pointless lol.

And I also want to analyze Rhett. At first glance, characters like him and that look like him usually do not interest me at all. I'm quick to overlook them because they are either spoiled, arrogant, entitled, all three, or a bully. I would say the Tillerson boys align more with these descriptions, and that's probably because they are rich and white and blond and used to getting what they want in thr small town they live in. And Rhett doesn't seem to be any of those things, probably because he isn't rich and is trying really hard to be successul at bull riding and keep his family safe.

Like, he clearly is not perfect-he is very angry and is quick to lose himself in alcohol and I've seen other people on Tumblr say that he needs to work on his anger and drinking issues and I agree. But it's clear he cares about his family, he cares about Maria, and he is just trying to do the right thing. I love that he is flawed and he knows it, and he is just trying to live.

I loved the scene when he asks Maria out because I find it so funny when boys always try to flex their language skills and fail horribly. And I speak Spanish so I laughed at everything Maria said to him and he was just like, "Don't know what you said but I will do anything you ask of me." Like, he is very imperfect, but you can tell deep down he is loving and just wants to live in peace.

I love the contrast between the Abbott boys and the Tillersons. Like, Rhett is so low key in comparison and I like that about him. To get caught up in these crazy happenings that are bigger than him and that he doesn't even know about? Let him live!

Cecilia's probably my fave Abbott (her characterisation and how she's dealing with everything is just so interesting to me) but Rhett and Amy are up there as well. Jury's out on Perry even though I do feel bad for him with Rebecca disappearing and all that.
