One way, Jesus!
Tumblr media
I actually got this on my Bible App phone and I was so blessed by the message. I've read the bible cover to cover but I never understood the meaning of this verse until the Holy Spirit finally revealed it to me.
And today syempre I will write this down para maalala ko parin 10-20 years from now. hehe
1.) Jesus said, "He is the way."
Yes, Jesus is the only way for us to be saved! It is not by donating to charity foundations, choosing a religion nor by doing good deeds on our own. It is ONLY through JESUS.
I remember when I was a kid, I was taught na kapag mabait ka, kapag tumutulong ka e, i-memeasure yan ni San Pedro versus sa mga naughty/bad things na ginawa mo.. kapag mas mabigat yung good deeds pasok ka sa langit, pag mabigat naman ang bad deeds, nako po. hehe Meron din religions who claim na they are the way for people to be save, so they invite people to join their sect. But as I walk with the Lord and learn more and more about Him through His word (the Bible), I learned na those were just human ideas and lies.
Because the truth is, Jesus said in His word na, He is the only way, and that no one comes to Father God except through Jesus himself.
Jesus is our ONLY mediator to God. That is why whenever we pray, we always say "IN JESUS' NAME" after praying or requesting to God. We cannot use our own name and religion's name because we all know that we are not perfect. We are actually sinners, and it is impossible for us to come to God on our own because sin cannot stand in His presence. God hates sin. And JESUS is the only man who have ever walked sinless and perfect in this unperfect world, making Him the perfect sacrificial lamb for all of us to be saved.
"As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” -Romans 3:10-12"
"Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10"
2.)Jesus said, "I am the TRUTH".
JESUS is the STANDARD OF TRUTH. A lot of false teachers claimed that their words are the truth but their so called truth causes many innocent people to be misled and blinded. (Jeremiah 14:14, 2 Peter 2:1-3)
JESUS came to this world to fulfill the word of God. He is our perfect example, our standard to follow and NO ONE ELSE. ( 1 John 2:6) The Lord walked on this earth sinless, obeying Father God up to the end. He had overcome all the testing of life and even death.
The Bible is our source of Truth. If ever confused ka man, or hindi mo alam ang purpose mo, or kung san ka papunta. The Bible serves as our life guide/life manual. It contains all the life examples of the witnesses that came before us, and also the life our Lord Jesus.
"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. -2 Timothy 3:16"
Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. - Ephesians 5: 1-2
3.) Jesus said, "He is the LIFE".
When Lord Jesus was crucified on the cross, He took all the consequences/punishments we deserve due to all the sins we have committed in our lifetime. He was condemned to die because of it. He suffered in order for us to be saved. HE PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE.
Kaya every year meron Holy week to commemorate the importance of what Lord Jesus' has done during his time here on Earth. And be joyful that we are no longer bound to sinful nature. When Lord Jesus rose from the dead, that means we have a new life in Him. We are no longer controlled by our sinful nature, we are free from the bondage of death and sin. We can finally say NO to it if we really want to.
The Lord offers new life to those who wanted to live their life to the fullest potential IN CHRIST. Not on your own anymore, but a life with the Lord. Walking together, side by side. Hehe
"I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin. -Romans 7:22-25"
"So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God. When we were controlled by our old nature, sinful desires were at work within us, and the law aroused these evil desires that produced a harvest of sinful deeds, resulting in death. But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit. -Romans 7:4-6"
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. - John 10:10
"NOT AN ACCIDENT"
If Jesus is speaking to your heart right now. Maybe this is not an accident na napadaan ka sa page na 'to. I don't know what's in your heart but GOD knows. He knows who you truly are. And He actually died for you to save you and He's offering you a new life with Him.
But of course, God wants us to be truly honest and to have a heart of repentance. This is something na you need to decide for yourself.
Firstly, you have to repent as you come to Him by confessing your sins to Him and ask for forgiveness. It will help us to finally be free from sins that still hinders us from coming to God.
1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Secondly, openly surrender your life to God. Meaning we are giving Lord Jesus full control over our lives. We no longer live for ourselves but we live for God. He will become our anchor in life and protector of our soul.
For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. - Matthew 16:25
And lastly, believe in your heart that He is your LORD AND SAVIOUR.
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. - Romans 10:9
"COMING BACK TO GOD"
Back in 2011, when I first met Jesus. I actually decided to surrender my life to Him during the church's altar call. I remember our youth pastor made us pray the sinner's prayer. And I have never regretted surrendering my life to Him after that.
You can pray the sinner's prayer just like this:
Lord Jesus, you know my heart and I cannot hide everything from you. You know that I am not a clean person and I have committed countless sins against you. Lord, I am sorry for everything. I open my heart to you and surrender everything to you. Change me, Lord, and clean my heart from all of my sins. Be the Lord of my life and my heart. Have your way in me. You are my Lord and my Savior. Help me to fully trust in You. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
and as you surrender your life to Jesus, I want you to know that by faith believe that you are truly forgiven and saved. Kasi ngayon, you belong to God's family. hehe Live by faith, not by sight/emotions.
and another thing, You need a church! Now that you belong to God, you are part of the Body of Christ. Find a church that will help you grow as a believer of Christ. It is important na mapalibutan tayo ng mga tao that shares the same faith. It will help you change, grow and be encourage especially when you are facing struggles in life.

The Scariest Words
When I was seven, I “gave my life” to Jesus. Honestly, I never really understood what that meant. All I knew was I didn’t want to go to the place with fire and brimstone. I was told that if I said the sinner’s prayer and accepted Jesus in my heart, I would be saved. It sounded like a good deal, so I prayed in the back of the car in the parking lot of a grocery store and “accepted” Jesus as my…

#DailyDevotion Humble Yourself Before God With A True Confession
Tumblr media
#DailyDevotion Humble Yourself Before God With A True Confession Luke 18:9-14 9Jesus told this parable to some who were sure they were righteous and so looked down on everyone else: 10“Two men went up to the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself: "God, I thank You I'm not like the other people: robbers, wrongdoers, adulterers, or even like that tax collector. 12I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all my income.' 13“But the tax collector, standing a distance away, wouldn't even look up to heaven but was beating his chest and saying, 'God, forgive me, a sinner! 14“I tell you, this man, and not the other, went home justified . Everyone who honors himself will be humbled; but if you humble yourself, you will be honored.” We probably should be clear here. Jesus is not telling thing parable against those who correct, rebuke, and exhort their fellows to do right. To assume those who do such things as being self-righteous is well, judgmental and Jesus is speaking more to those who assume this than those who doing the correcting. He is speaking to those who think they are better than other people and who think they do no wrong. So let's look at this parable a little. You have two men, a Pharisee and a tax collector. Now look at what the Pharisee says, "God, I thank You I'm not like the other people: robbers, wrongdoers, adulterers, or even like that tax collector. 12I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all my income.” Now you might think he's not that bad, after all, he is thanking God so it seems he is at least giving God the credit for what he is not. He may have gotten away with it except when he says, “or even like that tax collector.” Now he is judging for certain. It's gone from the abstract to the personal. He's comparing himself to others. On top of that, he is bragging to God how virtuous he is by fasting and tithing. Now the tax collector humbly comes before God, head down, beating his chest in repentance prays, “God, forgive me, a sinner.” Jesus tells us this man went home justified. He humbled himself before the LORD. To be humble is to have a right appraisal of yourself. To confess simply, you are a sinner is a good assessment of yourself. To compare yourself to others is not being humble unless that other is God and you realize you are not God. Did Jesus have in mind any particular Pharisee or tax collector? We don't know. We do know Matthew and Zachaeus were tax collectors they followed Jesus whereas more often than not the Pharisees did not. In the Eastern Church they have made a whole meditative prayer practice of praying the tax collectors prayer and call it the Jesus Prayer. It goes like this, “LORD Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me, a poor sinful being.” You could call it the original “sinners prayer.” It's not a bad prayer if you mean it. Jesus quotes us the proverb, “If you honor yourself, you will be humbled. But if you humble yourself, God will lift you up.” Jesus humbled himself to death on a cross and the Father exalted him to his right hand. Humble yourself before God, confess your sins, trust Jesus' death on the cross is your only hope and you will be seated with Christ. Heavenly Father, grant us true humility of heart so we may humble ourselves before you in trueness of heart and be lifted up by you at the proper time. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. My Sinner's Prayer This Thanksgiving
I'm just going to keep it 💯 for real.
I can't be thankful for God's overflowing abundance to this unworthy vessel that He deems righteous and precious, without acknowledging my failures and stumbles.
I've been a sinner.
I have a background chorus who can gladly chime in, for free. That's no lie. They bring up the past like an ESPN highlight reel. #Rewind
But like the legendary B.B. King and Ray Charles both cry out to The Lord God to please have mercy on me — Please! #SinnersPrayer #RayCharles #BBKing
If I've done somebody wrong, I want you to please have mercy on me— Please!!!!

Occlusion:
I simply cannot be,
The air envelopes me,
But then I realize,
Who's stopping me;
I can't be,
Without sincerity,
Without heart bleeding,
Down on my knees;
The One submitted,
I'm stumbling over myself,
Send word to Word,
That I am destituted;
And know,
That the ice is breakable,
Hope plays in myriad,
Flowered fields;
So, I grab Hope,
I submit,
Reaping bliss,
End of the storm.

ABCs of Salvation | 3 Steps To Secure Salvation (KJV)
Tumblr media
God gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ for us to be saved from this sinful world. Time is at Hand and while it is not too late, you need to secure our salvation. If you don't know how to secure salvation, this simple easy to follow "ABCs of Salvation" will guide you on how to accept genuinely Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior to secure salvation for you to surely go to Heaven. But before going through the steps you might ask: Why do I need to Secure Salvation? And why do I need to go to heaven? This because: - You might be wealthy but it cannot be exchanged for your soul. - Whatever you have here on earth, they are nothing and there is no forever on Earth. - Kingdom of Heaven is more valuable than anything else. - It is appointed that we will die physicaly and we will be judged (Hebrews 9:27). - You only have two destinations: Heaven or Hell - Hell has no exit and Heaven has only one door - Jesus So how to secure salvation?
A - ADMIT that you are a Sinner
We all have sinned. 17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.Romans 5:17-21 KJV And no matter how you try to be good, you will still fail. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Romans 3:23 KJV You are still unclean. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.Isaiah 64:6 KJV
B - BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ
God gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to save us. And through His blood, our sins washed away. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16 KJV Only by His grace and not by works. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV There is no other way but only through Jesus Christ alone. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.John 14:6 KJV God commended His love toward us. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:8 KJV If we have Jesus Christ living in us, we will live eternally. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.1 John 5:12 KJV In the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.1 Corinthians 5:3-5 KJV By the blood of our Savior Jesus Christ Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.Titus 3:5-7 KJV
C - CONFESS with your mouth
Now that you accepted that you are a sinner and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, confess with your mouth your sins and that you believe in Him. Let Him come to you and accept Him as your Lord and personal Savior. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:9 KJV 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:9-11 KJV Now do the Sinner's Prayer: Holy, thoughtful, gracious, and Heavenly Father, I recognize and acknowledge I am a miscreant not deserving of your grace and I ask forgiveness of my sins. I know your son is the truth the light and the way, I give myself freely to His control and welcome him into my heart. I ask you to walk with me and guide me, teach me your way and your truth. Thank you for the gift of your Son’s sacrifice on the cross that I may live. Thank you for your forgiveness and for accepting me as your child. Amen. Now that you are saved and you have Jesus Christ living in you, you should not stop there. What is next? Follow Him, His words, submit yourself, and don't forget to
D - DEPART from evil
This is not part of the step to secure salvation but it is a way of proving yourself that you are now truly of Christ. Forget your past and follow Him. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.Psalms 34:14 KJV Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV You may read also: Romans Road To Salvation and How to follow Jesus? https://youtu.be/wRnzay01LTQ Read the full article

Nobody is perfect, yes perfect only God!...we are all sinners yes...but there is a big difference between willingly and knowingly support sin, instead of trying to follow God’s commands!.... Let’s do not entertain our minds with the thought 💭 that God will understand & support our half Christianity...with breaking his law in full awareness...God is not to be mocked!...
