Imagine if Silver decided to visit Shadow in the Boom universe by traveling back in time and he ends up interrupting a fight. Like-

Silver: Hey, dad! I-- *sees he’s fighting* Oh. Are you busy?

Shadow: *uses his chaos energy to throw whoever he’s fighting* No, you’re alright. What’s going on?

Whoever he’s fighting: You have a son?!

And the others are just blown away by how easy it is for this strange white hedgehog who looks almost nothing like Shadow to get him to let his guard down or not look like he’s plotting someone’s death. All Silver does is call him dad or talks with him, and his anger drops by 75% ! He still looks somewhat unimpressed or displeased, but Silver seems to know that’s not how he really feels and he just isn’t very expressive when he doesn’t trust someone in the room.

Sonic: How do you even get along with him? He always looks like he’s plotting someone’s demise.

Silver: No, he doesn’t. He’s happy right now! Look!

Shadow: *has a very unamused expression*

Sonic: ...Yeah, I don’t see it.

Green Emerald; Nature

I got inspiration from two anime for shadow, Panty n Stocking with GarterBelt and Kill La Kill. I think they go well with shadows stubborn n straightforwardness. Very intense

Shadow posses Nature, represents Mother Nature, Growth, Protection, and Healing. He’s a more tragic character, but no matter what. He’ll keep his promise to protect all life on earth, especially the people. Even if they’ll turn on him eventually. Slowly healing from his amnesia and his past. This emerald fits him.

Blue Emerald; Cosmos

Silver’s sequence is inspired by anime Magia Record, specifically Rena Minami’s transformation. It was a quick change from Hyperdimension Neptuna to Magia Record when I watched Rena fall through several mirror portals to change into her magical girl outfit. Truly enchanting

Silver posses Cosmos, represents depth, speed, wisdom, and integrity. Able to to turn thoughts into power, trigger visions, and astral traveling. Silver’s destiny to save the future and bring peace between universes through dimensional travel. He can pull knowledge from anywhere and everywhere. The Blue Emerald favors his great mind.

OH BOY it has been a WHILEEE since I read or wrote anything HTTYD related...

Ok I went digging, couldn't find it. My favorite fic is lost forever on FF dot hell and I will never mind it again :( it was a hiccstrid fic about their wedding (written before the 3rd movie had been announced), but it was bittersweet, and shy, and fluffy, and everything.

I did find this one in my FF archives. A very early post HTTYD 1 fic about young Hiccstrid, and their still sort of new to their feelings, she's still new to dragons, and really the world he's opened up to her. So in this fic he shows her more things she never really discovered without him and I see why I saved it way back!

22. A Headcanon About A Character

So contrary to popular belief HTTYD does in fact live rent free in my mind.

One headcanon about Hiccup is that he's actually a decent dancer. Something something viking culture, blah. I really think him and Astrid dance around a lot. I think he likes music.

I also think he absolutely teaches his kids to draw. That's just special to me because my dad taught me everything I know about art so I never went to art school actually c:

My version of Silver being in the Boom Universe is him and Shadow having a father-son-like relationship, either Silver being adopted by Shadow or Shadow being his friend who has his “dad” or “big brother” moments. Both ideas are very interesting and nice.
