*As she worked, this presence manifested itself behind her, and her gut feeling hit an alert in her head. Yet, before any action for be taken, she felt something cold and sharp slide around her neck, a female voice, she wasn't familiar with, whispering behind her right ear.*

@silent-flight Kate always hated being in a trial with stealth killers. Without fail, she would end up getting surprised while working on a gen, and either pulled off or struck. The whispering caress of a blade against her neck was not a new sensation, but the voice speaking was. Hands that had been working on fixing one of the wires paused before carefully withdrawing, coming up by her head to rest.

The words sounded vaguely like what the Huntress would use, but seeing as a hatchet wasn't buried in her spine, Kate doubted that was it. "This the part where you slice me open or have me run?" she asked, her head tilting up faintly, exposing more neck. It wasn't as though she invited it, but it did unnerve some and won her points with others. She supposed she'd find out in the next few moments.

Spectember day 11 - gliderbird flora

low-effort post because i'm tired 🫡

i imagine a lot of the plants that gliderbirds are used to would be adapted to mountains and deserts, so there's lots of sad, pathetic looking grasses and shrubs and whatnot

BUT they do have. exploding seed pods

they'll explode naturally if given enough time, but may do so early if exposed to enough water (easier to get started surviving if you know there's plenty of water around), or if something tries to force the seed pod open (defense mechanism for the entire plant. sacrifice one seed pod in scaring the predator away to ensure the survival of the rest)

What would the Transformers look like semi-realistically as Warrior Cats?

◇Conclan cats◇

Darkstar/Megatron- A dark gray tabby with jet black paws and reddish brown eyes. He has scars on his muzzle, his shoulders and his back. He also has a nick in his left ear. He also has a red diamond mark on his forehead for his leadership and for his evilness. He has black fluffer fur that is shaped like a mane in way.

Silverflight/Silentflight/Star'Scream- A silver tabby with red eyes, he has lots of scars along his body and he is also haft blind. Due to the abuse he receives from Darkstar. Though later in life, he will be blinded in both eyes and have more scars on his back. His voice in the past is very screechy and such, but soon his voice gets messed up when he receives a scar on his throat. So he usually wears a black bandana to cover it. Also! Silverflight has a wicked-burnt weird looking tail, due to a fire that happened in Conclan's camp. He has bags underneath his eyes cause of the lack of sleep, and has slight redder outlines in his eyes due to him crying so much. (Traumatized boi here. . .). Of course, he always had the black bandana, the only thing that's left from his father so he would wear it sometimes in the past. He also has some scars on his lower stomach due to his mother's abuse. He is much smaller then Darkstar though!

Shadowpelt/Sound'Wave- A all black tom with a scar on his chest, he has a gray left paw and tail tip. He has dark red eyes.

Russetheart/Knockout(formerly med cat)- A reddish brown tabby with black fluffy chest fur(like a mane in a way), black front paws, inside an ear and a black ear tip. He has white on him as well. A white marking shaped like a heart on his chest. Though he has floppy ears but he can unfold them at his will, and whenever he wants. He also has a scar on his back leg, and would complain about it sometimes. He also has blue eyes.

Deadclaw/Dread'Wing- A blueish gray tabby tom with yellow eyes, he has a scar on his cheek. He has pale yellow markings on him as well. A pale yellow heart marking on his chest too. He has black ear tips.

Skywing/Sky'Quake- A light brown tabby tom with yellow eyes like his brother, he also has a scar on his cheek but on the opposite side. He has white markings, and there the same like Deadclaw's markings. He also has black ear tips.

(Their twins. Okay? Okay.)

Skywhisker/Sky'Warp- A black tom with light gray underfur, and a white heart marking on his chest. He has emerald green eyes. He also has a scar on his shoulder. He has dark gray all four legs and his tail as well.

Thundertail/Thunder'Cracker- A blueish gray tom with a light gray silvery gray marking on his nose, he has a scar on his chest. He has yellow eyes. He also has dark gray all four legs, and his tail as well.

Heavystep/Cloudedeye/Breakdown- A large blueish gray and white tabby tom, he has extremely fluffy white fur around his neck. He has one yellow eye and one blind eye from the twolegs(MECH). He has dark gray front paws and a scar on his shoulder and on his blind eye.

Wildpaw/Wild'Break- He looks a mix between both of his parents. Russetheart and Cloudedeye!

Blackfeather/Black'Stride- A dark gray tom with a jet black stripe that went from his head to his tail, making his tail jet black as well. He has red eyes like his son, Silverflight. He has two scars on his chest. He happens to have white front and back paws, with long sharp claws. (Silverflight has the same claws as well)

Moonsnap/Moon'Stride- A slightly darker silver tabby tom with dark blue eyes. He has scars on his back legs and lower back. He has jet black ear tips like his father, Blackfeather.

Perchpelt/Knockout's first older sister- She looks like her brother, Russetheart but she is not fluffy. She doesn't have blue eyes though. Perchpelt has scars on her shoulders and back, due to the war. She has light red eyes. She has jet black paws(all fours!) And a torn ear. She has a scar on her chest. But! She does not have the heart marking like her sister, mother and her brothers.

Darkstripe/Knockout's second older sister- A light gray she-cat with a jet black stripe that goes from her forehead to her tail. She has heterochromia. One blue eye and one light red eye. She had lighter gray underfur as well. She only has one scar and it's on her lower back leg.

Cherryheart/Knockout's mother- A lightgray she-cat with black markings. She has black front paws, heart marking on her chest, and such like her son, Russetheart. She also has heterochromia, like her daughter, Darkstripe. One light blue eye and one light red eye. She is also short like Russetheart.

Pebblestar/Knockout's father- A reddish brown tabby tom with white underfur, he has a light gray diamond marking on his chest as a symbol of a leader for his own little group. He has scars along his shoulders, back legs and lower stomach. He has

Redkit/Knockout's younger brother- A reddish brown tabby tom with one white paw and one light gray paw. He has dark green eyes. He has black ears, tail and underfur.

Softcloud/Steve- A small skinny dark gray tom with ginger patches, he has a white fluffy cloud marking on his belly and chest. He has,white paws(all fours!) And three white stripes on his back. Also his ear tips are white as well. He has a full white tail.

Quietsong/Wave'Sound- A dark gray sge-cat with a black right paw and tail tip. She has red eyes. She has a shoulder scar.

Lichennose/Gary- A slightly large ginger tom with dark gray patches, completely opposite of his younger brother, Softcloud. He has white ear tips, and paws(all fours). Lichennose also has a white stripe that goes from his forehead to the end of his butt, where his tail starts.

Rosedawn/Rose- A tortoiseshell she-cat with bright emerald green eyes. She has a ginger heart marking on her back. She is also small and fluffy, the same size as her mate, Softcloud. Her tail is a reddish brown color as well.

Mudflame/Mud'Shot- A dark brown dusty tabby tom with sharp yellow amber eyes. He has scars on his chest, side and back. He has a torn in his ear that is shaped like a 'v'. He has darker brown muzzle, front paws and tail.

Grayivy/Megatron's sister- Grayivy is the opposite of her brother, but ezpect with blue eyes. She has a scar on her shoulder.

Kestrelclaw/Shock'Wave- A dark gray tabby tom with a red eye. He is unfortunately blind in one eye, due to an unknown cause. He has a dark blue feather behind his ear, in honor of his aunt.

◇Autoclan cats◇

Frozenstar/Optimus'Prime- A blueish gray tom with white patches all over him, he also has a white diamond marking on his forehead as a symbol of his leadership and goodness. He also has heterochromia. One light blue and one yellow. He has a scar that goes to both of his shoulders. He is quite large, as well as his adopted brother, Darkstar. He isn't quite as fluffy as Darkstar but fluffy enough to keep himself and anyone else warm. He has dark gray underfur, and some markings. He also has a lighter gray marking that's a heart on his chest.

Nettlecreek/Ultra'Magnus- A light brown tabby tom with white front paws, and white speckles on his muzzle. He has dark brown ear tips and tail. He has light pale blue eyes.

Bristlepelt/Ratchet- A snowy white tom with gray patches all over him. He has a scar on his shoulder that is shaped like a lightning bolt. He has very spiky fur, and whenever he gets mad, his pelt gets extra spiky, earning his name. He has teal eyes. Though he is a skinny tom.

Fernnose/Bulkhead- A light gray tom with dark gray speckles all over him, he also has lighter gray underfur. He is also quite large but isn't large as Frozenstar. He also has blue eyes.

Ivyhiss/Wheeljack- A fluffy siamese tom. He wears a red bandana around all the time, he also has blue eyes. He isn't skinny or chubby. He's just fluffy. Juat not as fluffy as Russetheart. Though he is large as his best bud, or brother figure, Fernnose.

Smokefeather/Smokescreen- A gray tabby tom with white spots on him. He has scars on his lower back and some on his stomach after being held hostage by Conclan. He has emerald green eyes, though he's just slightly taller then Honeyfur.

Honeyfur/Bumblebee- A light golden tabby tom with jet black patches all over him. He has amber eyes. Though he has a scar on his throat, making him unable to talk but he can make noises, even if they do sound raspy and messed up.

Cedarbird/Arcee- A jet black she-cat with white paws. She has a white chest as well. She has lightish red eyes that look like pink. She does have a scar on her cheek after being held hostage in the past when Spikefur(Tailgate) died.

Clifftail/Cliff'Jumper- A reddish ginger tabby tom with jet black paws and tail. He has some scars on him, and on his stomach, from Silverflight. Which is his death scar.

Brindleglare/Zephyr'Blast- A silver tabby she-cat with dark blue eyes. She has scars on her muzzle, back, shoulders and back legs. She has spiky fur that is like a thistle but she is soft.

Snowtail/Snow'Rider- A snowy white she-cat with light gray paws, ear tips and muzzle. She has heterochromia. One dark blue and one red. She is not the smallest in the family, Silverflight is. She and Moonsnap got their size from their parents.

◇Other cats◇

Predaclan!

Dragonstar/Predaking- A large dark brown tabby with black patches, paws, and tail. He has scars all over his body, and is quite larger then Darkstar. He has sabertooth(?) like fangs. He has sharp yellow eyes.

Lynxtuft/Skylynx- A black-and-white tom with scars all over him. He has icy blue eyes. His ears are sharp and pointed, and tufted like a lynx's. The tufts are light brown. He is slightly smaller then Dragonstar.

Slatetooth/Darksteel- A dark gray tom with jet black stripes all over his body. He has pale yellow eyes. He also has scars all over his body as well. He is also the same as Lynxtuft.

(All of them have sharp claws)

Rogues/Loners/Kittypets!

Spider/Spiderfang/Airachind- A dark gray she-cat with jet black legs(paws too!), and all fours too. She also has a sharp snaggle tooth that always pokes out of her muzzle. She has dark reddish pink eyes. Oh and some scars on her body.

Violetclaw/Violet'Wing- A white she-cat with black splotches all over her. She has purple eyes. Though she has bags underneath her eyes, clearly tired. She has some scars on her body.

Firefrost/(Jet)Sky'Fire- A white tom with dark gray underfur. He has light gray markings all over him. He also has a light gray fluffy cloud marking on his chest. He has scars as well. He has a scar on his throat, though he survived through the blow.

Other?

Shadowash/Ashfeather/Vix/Fang'Slasher- A jet black tom that is clearly a ghost. He has bloody red eyes with white pupils in them. Since he's a ghost.
