#I had to go into the office where there was NOISe and people #then went to the gym where some asshole was had the audio on the bike on full - not on their headphones! and then they left and someone els #showed up and talked on the phone #and since I got home at 630pm my bf has been on the phone with his family (it's now midnight) #and I love him and that he can talk to his family so long but I can't escape his noise #and now he's fucking singing multiple songs into the phone and I don't know why AND I JUST CANNOT. #I have to go into the office again tomorrow and I'm like. Please. PLEASE can I have silence?????????????????? #it should not be too much to have twenty minutes of not having to hear a god damn voice #and that place should not have to be my CAR when I have to deal with PEOPLE on the road #I should go to bed but this man talks loud af into the phone #I showed up to work on the edge of losing it this morning. Do you ever think about how Fakir, after him and Ahiru finally broke everything that kept the town of Goldkröne in the ghostly hands of its writer, after they finally have some air of peace over the town finally being able to live in its intended early 2000s environment, that Fakir still feels at times like it's not real and that for a while he fears that if he closes his eyes it'll be back in Drosselmeyer's control. Like it just doesn't feel real to him during that first year of calm, until he feels the dull pain on his recovering hand injury and Ahiru who follows him without a pendant anywhere to be found.

He doesn't feel it's real, the calm finality of this town, but he makes sure to feel the scar on his hand. And he makes sure to hold the little duck and realize that she is who she has always been. Him and the town are finally living peacefully.

HIII SMOOCHES! I’m going on a dottore brainrot rampage and I’ve been craving zandy content like I just want to pinch his cheeks and protect him at all costs! BUT imagine if like, the segments pissed off reader one day because they’re so busy that they kind of stopped paying attention to them, so reader decides that instead of spending time with them they will instead spend time with zandy 🥺.

AND LIKE imagine if (in revenge) they just bake cupcakes and keep them all to themselves knowing that the segments have like this sweet tooth but they won’t get any cupcakes! 🧁Like imagine if Zandy tries to remake Webttores mask using white and black frosting on a cupcake but it just.. looks bad😭 I can just imagine how cute I’d be! Like one cupcake has too much blue frosting and sprinkles so it’s very sugary while one barely has anything because the frosting was finished. One cupcake has tiny eggshells in it because zandy didn’t crack the egg correctly 😭So like- while the segments are busy with their lab stuff there’s just reader and zandy making treats behind everyone s back.

IMAGINE IF A SEGMENT WALKED IN ON THEM ABD JUST STARED LIKE:😦 because they thought Zandy was busy studying or something and taht reader was possibly in one of the labs BUT instead they just see the kitchen being an absolute mess, flour everywhere, a bunch of dishes are also dirty😶 and they’re possibly wondering where did the sprinkles come from because they were sure they didn’t buy any sprinkle NOR FROSTING- what would the segments reaction be? Would they get jealous or let it slide because Zandy is a kid and stuff

After the first botched cupcake, you just laugh and then put your hands over Zandy's much tinier ones, directing and guiding him to frosting the cupcake properly. You definitely make more with the other masks, his earrings, the other Harbingers, etc!

The segments found you because of how much you two were giggling and having a grand old time without them... And to answer your question, it doesn't matter who or what is hogging your attention... if it's stolen for too long, they will get grouchy and annoyed... but the catch is that they can't get mad at Zandy because you will raise hell if anything mean was said to your precious baby. So they have to settle for pointed glares at you two instead as you hog all the cupcakes. Needless to say, they've learned their lesson.

Entitled customers are funny, imagine kicking up such a fuss with our managers that 2 mall security guards had to be called to come mediate all because you and your wife not only can't read but also can't see that our menu literally serves soft poached egg, not a boiled egg, in our Japanese rice bowls

Anyway read the menu properly y'all and ask questions if you're unsure, don't be a dick to hospitality workers especially over dumb shit

#this happened yesterday during boxing day #it was truly hilarious to me #this lady came to complain about our egg not being boiled fully #to which my managers were like 'yeah our menu only serves soft boiled it's shown and written very clearly on it' #but apparently this lady wasn't happy with that answer cause she left and then sent her husband back with the bowl to argue!!!! #and my managers were like nah we're gonna call security to mediate cause this guy legit just kept raising his voice #anyway in the time span of waiting for security to show up #this guy literally pulls his phone out to record a negative review of us which lmao alright #and then proceeds to tell customers looking at our menu to not order from us cause we've got bad food #they still ordered from us anyway with 1 customer saying to my coworker that they hoped he left soon cause he was making them uncomfortable #anyway security shows up and them + the guy + my managers talk for like 10+ minutes #with this guy apparently mentioning at one point that he wants us shut down #just to remind y'all if you're reading this that this is all over a soft boiled egg that is very clearly shown on the menu #and the whole thing ended with 1 of the security coming in to the shop to watch us remake the bowl without the egg #because apparently the guy was afraid we'd do something to his bowl #security looked done with this and apologised to us for this guy being so rude #also before anyone says anything both this guy and wife were fluent in English so it wasn't a matter of them not being able to read our men #and also again our bowls show a very obvious not hard boiled egg #anyway i hope they had an awful day afterwards for being such entitled dicks to us

i always forget i have Healthcare System Anxiety until i have to interact with The Healthcare System and immediately just start screaming internally for days

#my mom obliterated her bones and the pre-surgery surgery post-surgery experience. the ER situation. moving 2 the woods #this is a vent post i forget my complaining tag #waited 30 mins for an ambulance & when we called back they were like ''yeah it hasnt been assigned to anyone & might be hours'' #so i drove her to the ER with a migraine & ran over some pylons (cool). #stuck in the ER for 9 hours. took 4 hours for anyone to give her any kind of pain management. i caught covid #was supposed to get a call when she was out of her 2 hrs max surgery. was told i could call if i hadn't heard anything #5 hours later i called and was transferred 6 times - told she had been discharged - told she had never been registered at that hospital - #yelled at by a nurse for asking for patient information - eventually got the right department and was told oh yeah sorry she's in recovery #was supposed to find out if she could come home or not in 30 mins. 3 hours later theyre like OK come get her #i show up and the doors to that wing are. locked? and no one's there to unlock them? #apparently i was supposed to pick up the wall phone? and call a code they hadn't given me? spent 30 mins getting help from other department #to GET THEM TO OPEN THE DOORS. FREE HER RELEASE HER #finally i get in and she's OK SHES FINE except morphine doesn't work on her so that's. fine. bodies are good to have #we have reached shrimp colours levels of anxiety i am a walking talking stress migraine but she's doing ok. but holy fuck #kayvswords #also like she's black and all of her nurses and doctors have been white so feeling normal about all of it all around

I called my dad tonight to ask his opinion on changing my vehicle insurance to something with less coverage and thus lower payments, and got advice. And I know it comes from a place of love, but I don't like how my dad makes me feel an inch tall for my choices around having Beau. I know he's a bit of a "money sink" and that I had to put his vet bills on my credit card that I am trying not to use. But it is good for my mental and physical health to have him.

My finances are always a bit tight and I am trying to cut spending where I can, work extra hours, but things are still not great. It makes me want to cry, but I also chose to prioritize things with Beau - supplements, better fitting tack, driving out to the barn more (more gas money). So I have no one to blame but myself.

He also continues to refer to where I live as "the big bad city", which is annoying.

Basically, it always feels like he wants me to move back towards home. But, while my finances are shit, my mental health is finally actually doing well, which in someways feels better.

Yeah, I have some credit card debt, but I no longer wonder how fast I have to drive off the road into a tree to make everything end right away.

favorite fruit: a good handful of blueberries. she has also developed a fondness for apples in recent times :')

favorite season: she does miss spring... running fetch quests at least will sometimes take her places with a bit more seasonal variety.

favorite flower: snow gentian - these are some of the little blue flowers I always put in her hair during her Shatul era!

favorite scent: she likes most floral scents, but has a particular soft spot for a nice sharp mint.

coffee, tea, or hot chocolate: on an everyday basis she will usually go for a tea as it's more readily available, but on one cross-country errand she stopped by Solitude and was wildly overcharged for skillfully acquired some chocolate. best purchase of the whole trip, 10/10 will buy again. it's saved for special occasions and/or to share when someone has a rough day.

average hours of sleep: typically 7-8 hours - 10-11 bedtime, up around 6. not a stranger to late nights though...

dogs or cats: would tell you she likes them both equally - she has more experience with dogs, but thinks the rare euphoria of a skittish cat choosing your lap for a napping spot is really rewarding.

dream trip: she's not been anywhere really properly warm, so would love to see someplace further south at some point. (...unfortunately she would need to acquire a day wardrobe with fewer turtleneck collars and less wool first.)

number of blankets: minimum of three on any given night, but this number does often go up as the temperature calls for it :P

random fact: the circlet/pendant that I give her sometimes... feather enchantments. for hauling more books 👍 especially useful in the beginning while she's still getting used to the altitude changes!
