Shoka has always had a soft spot in my heart as her grief hits close to home for me. I'm happy to finally be able to draw something about that.

Flower meanings and what not under the cut 

Fireflies: I've always admired these, but did you know they can be a symbol for death and rebirth? They can be seen as a symbol of the newly dead passing into the afterlife, and represent eternal life. They guide lost spirits.

Yellow roses are well known as a symbol of friendship and are given as a gift to cherish and celebrate such a bond.

White Chrysanthemums are reserved for mourning and grief. In other countries, they can relate to innocence, purity, honesty, and loyalty.

Daffodils are known to represent rebirth and new beginnings. This isn't surprising since they're some of the first flowers to bloom at the start of a new spring. They can even considered a symbol of hope, resilience, and forgiveness.

Basically, I wanted symbols that could represent the journey through grief. Shoka found belonging and happiness in Shibuya, but she still lost two people who were family to her. I think her future is bright, but she'll always have her memories of Ayano and Suzukichi.

summary: shoka likes to tease you, but it's not as fun anymore if someone else does so...

shoka and you are always teasing or making jokes about each other

it's like your personal love language; you joke around, so you won't have to admit that you have feelings for each other! 

it's rather obvious to everyone but you two how in love you're with each other, yet nobody dares to point it out

even if they would, you two would probably try to deny your feelings for each other

sure, you'd love to admit your feelings for one another but the relationship you have now just seems easier

but even so, it's not just the two of you that tease each other

sometimes you meet people, who assume that this is simply your type of humor and start to joke about you as well

and those are the few rare moments where shoka gets defensive and suddenly doesn't find the teasing funny anymore

after all, it's your thing! you two always tease each other, so it feels wrong to have someone else try and joke around with you!

you always notice her shift in behavior and to assure her that she's the only one for you, you'll tease and annoy her even more the next few days!

My Halloween Secret Santa gift for @anixdraws!

I combined the concepts of fashion with Susukichi being a cool uncle for Tsugumi and Shoka (which is so precious, lemme tell ya). I thought, "Dude's obsessed with reversi and the girls already have black and somewhat white themes going on. Let them model reversi-inspired dresses," and this was the result!
