"I hate horror movies, can't we watch something else?" from Spooky / Autumn Prompts

“I hate horror movies, can we watch something else?” Johnny said this with a sigh as he tried to reach for the remote to be able to put another movie on.

You couldn’t tell if Johnny hated them because he just thought they were boring or if he actually found them to be scary. You’d try your best to get an answer out of him.

“But horror movies are the most appropriate for Halloween season.” You turned to the side to keep the remote out of his reach. 

“I know, but they’re all kinda the same.” Johnny was still reaching for the remote.

“If we don’t watch a horror movie, then what do we watch? I mean, sure some horror movies might be cheesy but they’re still fun to watch.”

“Can’t we watch a regular movie? Or at least something more like… a thriller, maybe? I guess if you find them fun to watch though I guess I can bite my tongue for the next hour and a half.” Johnny stopped trying to reach for the remote. He figured he’d just let you do your thing. Even if he didn’t care much for horror movies, the most important thing is that you two were spending time with each other.

“I mean, a thriller can count too. I think that’s a fair compromise… We’ll do something more thriller and not really horror. It still fits spooky season.” You changed the category from ‘horror’ to ‘thriller’. 

That put a smile on Johnny’s face, “You’re always so considerate…But you know what, it’s fine. Let’s watch a horror movie this time and then we can watch a thriller movie next time. I know how much you enjoy horror movies. Even if they are cheesy.”

“It’s all about compromise. I don’t mind watching a thriller one this time.” You scrolled through the ‘thriller’ options, now resting your head against his shoulder. 

Truthfully you weren’t really focusing on what movie to pick, you were more focused on how comfortable you felt leaning against him like this. You enjoyed little moments like these where the two of you stayed in and enjoyed each other’s company. 

“Are you listening?” 

“What? You said something?” You gave an embarrassed smile as you sat up. You were so focused on how you felt resting up against him and his scent that you hadn’t heard what he said.

“I said… What about this one?” Johnny asked as he pointed to the screen.

“Oh, sure. Yeah. That’s fine.” You said and rested your head against his shoulder once more. Truthfully you didn’t care what the two of you watched as long as you remained cuddled up like this.

Making a Gingerbread House with the JoJo’s (Part 2):

☃️ Giorno: - He takes his time when piecing everything together. He knows how delicate these gingerbread houses can be so he wants to make sure to handle it with care.  -He’s very helpful with building the gingerbread house; he notices you’re getting a little frustrated so he gently guides your hand to help. - He definitely includes frosting flowers on the roof of the house. 

☃️Jolyne: - Even though she acts like she’s not that interested in building the house, she actually finds it really cute that you’d want to do something like this with her.  -She’s actually kind of having a hard time getting everything to stick together, but she also kind of just wants you to be close to her... but maybe not too close because then she’ll just start blushing and lose her focus.  - She insists on putting the both of your initials on there, she just thinks it’s a cute idea (heart included of course). 

☃️ Johnny: - He’s never made a gingerbread house before, so at first he’s a bit unsure if he’d enjoy it or not, but since you suggested it of course he’ll give it a try!  - He decides it’s best to watch you first since you seem to have done this before. He thinks you look so precious while you’re so focused on putting the house together.  - Johnny isn’t sure how much help he’ll be, but he tries his best! Even if he gets a little frustrated sometimes, he feels encouraged when you reassure him and give him gentle forehead kisses 

☃️ Gappy:  - He’s super enthusiastic about making a gingerbread house with you! He’s never done it before... or at least he doesn’t think he has, but he’s eager to make one with you! -At first there’s a little issue with the candy decorations though as Gappy keeps wanting to eat them, but then realizes they’re supposed to go around the house. Don’t worry though, he makes a run to go ahead and get some more candy!  - He’s super excited and proud when you both finish the gingerbread house. Don’t mind him wanting to take some silly pictures together with the house! He’s just so proud of it!

Allowing the 141 to have an espresso machine caused more problems than it solved. From making milk splutter all over the counter (mostly Johnny) and a slew of profanities would follow (mostly Price) to someone leaving the espresso unattended and overflowing the counter. And then that would lead to further scolding (mostly Simon to Johnny) as you and Kyle would watch the three idiots struggle. And suddenly nobody knew who was responsible for the atrocities in the kitchen. It occured to you that no one knew how to steam some damn milk and it was now up to you to teach them as they gathered around you in the kitchen.

"This is the pitcher." You instructed, lifting the metal pitcher to show them all. "Fill it with milk , and then insert the steaming wand." You adjusted the metal rod and turned the machine on. It soon came to life, steam shot out and you tilted it at an angle. "And then you angle it at about 45 to 60 degrees."

A chorus of "Oohhh"'s fill the room and you chuckled, shaking your head at them as the milk began to foam.

"You wanna keep the end of it not too far in otherwise the foam will fuck up. Just the tip." You grinned at yourself and Johnny's brow shot up.

"Jus' th' tip, eh?" He shared your impish grin and you two snickered at the dirty joke.

"Let me try." Price moved behind you, chest pressing up against you and his chin rested on your shoulder as he began to configure the machine successfully. Heart racing againgst your chest as he expertly navigated the expresso mechanism, preparing it into the mug you had set out. His warm breath tickling your ear as he aptly transferred the steamed milk over top the espresso, creating a swan with a few flicks of the wrist. He set it down for all to see. A pregnant pause followed.

"Show off." Kyle scoffed, arms folded leaning against the kitchen island as he smirked at his Captain.

"Ye knew how to do it this whole time..." Johnny shook his head in disbelief. Price squeezed your middle before placing chaste kisses on your neck with a smug expression while Johnny and Kyle reprimand him for not teaching them earlier, but of course he doesn't give a damn. Muffled giggles into the crook of your pretty neck as his subordinates have a crack at him.

In a bit of delirium from Price's hot touch you scanned the area to find Simon and snickered at the sight. The bickering three followed your gaze to a quiet and serene Simon who was no longer paying attention, sitting on one of the barstool's at the kitchen bar with his cup of steaming tea; pinky in air and all.

Johnny clicked his tongue. "Fuckin' Brits."
