THE 3 bigest clown’s in the circus were shimano, kaxma, and you. but of all three, shimano is the biggest and visitors come from everywhere all around to see his big top show, the Hroghhn which is the grand finale of every Circus Act.

Tonight the show was about to start and you are hainging out with shiman and kazmaum in the Big Top. shimano is wearing a ruffled collar and harley quin outfit and kasama in his hobo clown outfit (its an homage to historical trope and he doesnt know its offensive). all three have massive RED nose’s. and you are sitting in shimanos lap while kazuna is kissing him on his nec because you were all afraid that this may be the circus last show, the ring master has been having financiel troubles and the circu’s tent big top stripd tent has the morld problem because of that.

“EVERYONE GET READY FOR THE WHO NOW” majima hollard, cracking his Ring Master Whip. kazam really likes the wip and he let out a gentle moan, “oh kaxdma “ shimano said and he is also kissing you. “oh Y/N” he hrongled. all 3 of you are on shimanos lap.

“TIME TO GO THE AUDEINCE IS HERE!’ majima scremd and you all rushed into your clowns costume’s, kazadnma paussing only to trip humorously on his oversized clow’s shoe’s, making you all laught delightfuly and give another sensual kiss, your clown make up is getting messed up in the heat

during the whole circu’s perforamnace shimano and kamxns are making ‘bedroom eyes’ at you, a deep sensual gazes under one normal and one Very Bushy set of eyebrowns, you let out a gasp and nearly dropped your Juggling Balls, trmebing with Desire. but lukily you can finishe the routinge and tightope walk before you lose it and JUMP back into shimanos lap (with kamzsaz behind). when you walked in the Small Top “WAT R YOU DOINGE” majima blepped! you almost dorped your Jugging Balls again! from a Gap in the mlody curtains you saw those 2 deep sensual gazes and during the Uni Cycle show kazmaz is making a lewd signal at you, you can barely wait until the show end so you can

finally after more sensual moment’s it is time for the Grande Final. the lights are low and shimano is coming into the Big Top with a spot light on him. kazam wispered “i know you can do it big Shim’ and you held his hand sensual as clown nose honked. you are filed with love for them, it’s not just about your bodies and clown’s.

in the center Ring chimano looked around with imperious gaze and finaly his beady eyes land on you and shimano and kzaama and he suckd in a deep breath to file his lung’s with air for the grand finale. he tok in a deep Breath and loked right at you, you gesped

and shimano let out a massive BLEP: HROOGOGNNGNGNNN !! it filed the whole circus.

the cuustomeres went wild!! the scusmonrs payed so much that majima can buy a whole new Big Top Stripd. as you hrognle together you colwn’s makeups are smeered together, mingling on your skin like the traces of love..

Summary:

Rather than letting Majima walk away from her, Makoto chases after him and learns who Majima really is. The story continues with some minor changes of the post-credits scene at the empty lot, then goes into headcanon territory. It transitions from a few dates to a full-blown relationship and eventually follows the events of Yakuza Kiwami.

obsessed w this scene for cinematography and gay reasons .......

the cinematography reasons being that, at least in my understanding of western cinema, characters on the left are the ones in power or the characters who win - the good guys usually come from this direction - and characters are the right the characters who lose or don’t have the power in their situations, usually being the antagonists, the bad guys.

but also, within left and right hand symbolism, the left hand is justice/wisdom/weakness/death sometimes and the right hand is blessing/mercy/omnipotence of God/strength.

taking that and applying it to the context of this scene -- Sohei deciding to send Shimano and Kazama to kill the Jingweon Mafia -- it makes me lose my fucking mind for the following reasons:

1) Shimano on the left and Kazama on the right in the first picture. Shimano has the power here because Sohei agrees with him. Like, he wants to kill off the Jingweon guys and he’s siding with Shimano on that. Kazama doesn’t think they need to die - or at least that they all don’t have to die (I can’t fully remember), but clearly his opinion isn’t the popular one, thus he’s on the right side

2) But then, they switch places in the second shot where the camera is positioned behind Sohei’s back. Behind Sohei’s back, Kazama is the one with the power, being on the left side of the screen, intending to spare the members of the Jingweon Mafia anyways. Meanwhile, Shimano does not intend to do anything except kill. Neither he or Sohei know that’s what Kazama is going to do, and neither of them ever do find out, so he’s on the right in this shot.

3) Probably in a more literal sense too -- Kazama being on the right side in the first shot because. since its from the perspective of the viewer, we see him as being “in the right” about not killing the Jingweon guys, but then when we shift perspectives behind Sohei, Shimano’s on the right because to him, he’s “in the right”

4) In terms of left and right hand symbolism rather than cinematography, Shimano on the left representing justice and death because of the line he says about how the Jingweon has killed a bunch of his men, and you can interpret this as him wanting revenge for them - a twisted sort of justice for the men they’ve killed. Meanwhile Kazama on the right representing blessing/mercy because of how he wants to spare them rather than kill them.

5) When their places are reversed, it can be read more like Kazama on the left representing death/justice/weakness because he still ends up killing the leader of the mafia and several of their members anyways, meanwhile Shimano on the right being the omnipotence of God/strength because he’s acting on Sohei’s orders to kill.

Oh, and 6) it’s gay because look at how theyre staring each other down and we’re ignoring Sohei bc fuck Sohei. I think that Kazama and Shimano at least used to be together from 1969 to some time in the 70s, but they’re now exes/divorced/enemies who are also kind of still gay. It’s the tension. It’s the mutually assured destruction. I’m FINE and NORMAL about these two.

IDK what else to say to you about this one except that "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" is such a Shimazama song...... these fuckin old men who have been plotting each other's demises for three decades but kept sleeping together......... horrible! (but they intrigue me.........)

Ok so...... La Dolce Vita has a lot of Sera, Kashiwagi, and Yayoi thinking wishfully about leaving the Tojo behind and starting a life together away from them (taking Daigo with them of course) but ...... yeaaaahhhh that doesn't work out. But y'know what, "Run Away With Me" by Carly Rae Jepsen just works too well for them

Hi do you ever think about the fact that Yayoi had Daigo at 19 years old. 19. She was 19 when she had him. Nineteen. I just think she'd have complicated feelings about motherhood, especially bc at the time, she and everyone else thought that Daigo was Sohei's kid.... and in my headcanons (and just me trying to figure out a timeline), I figured she'd have to have been 18 when she met him???? So yeah, "She Used To Be Mine" from Waitress really does work, because my god, she lost her youth because of Sohei and I honestly refuse to believe she'd still really like ..... love him like the RGG writers try to tell us she does. Again, I have headcanons about this, but oh god they're long and wayyyy too overly detailed.

Hi, this is a Happier Than Ever plot point! Jin Goda and Sagawa meet with Shimano and Kazama at some point in the story for Reasons. Because of the whole plot about power plays between the Omi and the Tojo, I figured the Succession theme would fit (and the poses are based on that one Succession S3 promo), as well as "Default" by Django Django because that song has the vibes of Person A is pointing out all of Person B's faults, which I think works with the Omi-Tojo rivalry. (Also psst..... Shimano, Sagawa, and Jin looking at Kazama ......... bc they're all Omi...... Shimano's a spy for the Omi ..... don't ask how it works. Or maybe do ask idk)

"Friends In Low Places" gives me younger Sagawa vibes simply bc I think he'd be p well connected when he was younger. "The Body Is a Blade" for Jin bc I feel like a lot of his attitude in Happier Than Ever would be to just push forward with determination in spite of things going on .... which is to say a Lot might be going on when I figure out more plot stuff lol

"Stop a Bullet" just has Shimazama vibes generally, but also I think it has Shimano -> Kazama energy since the power play is not only between the Tojo and Omi, but also their relationship, as HTE'verse progresses, is very uh.................. built on provoking each other, which Shimano does a lot to Kazama and for WHAT. And oh boy, "Bloodlust" for Kazama because the song is about a murderer who keeps sorta stumbling into killing more and more people to keep themselves from getting caught. Something-something Kazama is implicitly a violent man, he's just good at hiding it - especially among yakuza, who are more open about it.

that first picture is kazama coming back to the family office after meeting with shimano for their once-a-week-to-a-month hook up at a love hotel

shimano and sunny are both here to make kazama's life worse and this is a fact

more on sunny too: shes a trans woman and an information broker for kazama. theyre sorta fuckbuddies but theres no romantic feelings from sunny's side. kazama on the other hand......... maybe a little attached, but not as much as he is/will be to shimano lol

also at some point in the early 70s, probably during 1970, she moves to America to be with one of her siblings and their family there, and well. she meets joji kazama there in the 2000s sometime (see: him tracking her down to tell her kazama fuckin DIED) and like, nothing happens between them, but he sure does give her a rollercoaster of emotions to work through

something-something kazama doesnt want people who are connected to him (sunny, joji) to interact with shimano
