If Elaina is too fussy to sleep, I can see Lexa cradling her as she walks up and down the halls soothing her and singing her a lullaby 🥺

🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 the tower is so quiet at night that the hushed voice of the commander as she passes around in the halls in her nightgown singing soft lullabies she herself was never sung to before to her newborn baby takes almost everyone who hears it by surprise.

It's beautifully haunting, a tower who only knew of blood and screams, tense meetings with clans and lessons meant for children who would die long before their time now filled with the singing voice of the commander as she settles down her fuzzy baby daughter.

just what was he trying to achieve ... ?   furthermore,  what was this predictable pattern ?   this has been going on for some time ...  though the woman remains unbothered,  her actions continuing on as if nothing were happening.  it's a testament to either hakuno kishinami's patience  /  or indifference.   but,  it does earn him a stare,  one that would've been quizzical from any other person,  but blank when it came from her.  was he hoping to see her peeved ?   she's not sure,  but if it's a reaction he wants,  then it's a reaction he'll get.

the five second interval makes it easy,  and so,  where he might've been expecting to press a soft cheek,  his finger would instead be greeted with a—  chomp.

literally had the best day at work, these people brought their three month old kitten in cause they’re training it to go on walks and be able to go into stores and she was so cuteeee 😭🩷 walked right on over the counter and right up to me and they were like ‘you can hold her if you like!!’ and I almost started crying I was so happy!!!!! 😭🥹🥹💞✨🫧🌷💖
