Fellatio:
I think Thief of Shadows by Elizabeth Hoyt still has one of my favorite BJ scenes. Because it's Winter's first orgasm with another person EVER, and it's so fraught, and there's a lot of tension and emotion and they're literally hiding behind a curtain (classic historical move) and you also get the sense that a lot is being said just trough this one moment. And she cries, which. I love a tearful BJ scene, it must be said.
I mean, I also ADORE the Mount Rushmore novelty tie BJ in American Prince by Sierra Simone, because it's like... a specific thing in Embry and Ash's dynamic that Ash doesn't go down on him that often, and when he does it's usually more to tease, so the whole "let me show you my undying gratitude" thing is so silky and smooth and hot. Movies to Watch (Rom-Coms)
Quarantine Update: I've (very briefly) moved from watching my favorite TV shows to watching romantic comedies. This isn't even my favorite movie genre but if any of you need a good laugh (and cry) watch these...
Life As We Know It - Katherine Heigl was the queen of Rom-Coms in the late 2000s early 2010s.
Leap Year - Matthew Goode is one beautiful man and Amy Adams is an icon.
27 Dresses - Like I said Katherine Heigl was a queen.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding - Being from a traditional Arab family, I've always found this movie relatable (Greeks are pretty similar to Arabs). This is one pure movie.
Love Wrecked - If you miss seeing Amanda Bynes, watch this classic.
A Walk to Remember - Not so comedy but still so good. It always destroys me emotionally every time I watch it.
Can't Hardly Wait - The epitome of 90s movies tbh. So great.
Chasing Liberty - Mandy Moore is a legend and once again, Matthew Goode is one beautiful man.
When Harry Met Sally - CLASSIC. Every person in the world needs to see this at least once in their lifetime.
Sweet Home Alabama - Reese Witherspoon is amazing. That is all.
Empire Records - More of a comedy, but another classic. So underrated and always makes me wish I was a teen in the 90s.
A Lot Like Love - This one will make you laugh, cry, and smile. An absolutely lovely movie (with an amazing soundtrack).
10 Things I Hate About You - Another classic. Heath Ledger is one of my favorite actors and his movies, like this one, puts a smile on my face. While also turning me into a sobbing mess. I miss him so much.
50 First Dates - One of Adam Sandler's best movies (probably the best one). The scene with Rob Schneider getting repeatedly hit with a bat is comedy gold.
Along Came Polly - Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston, what more could you want?
Meet the Parents - If you haven't seen this, have you been living under a rock?? An iconic movie.
The Back-Up Plan - I feel like this movie is so underrated. It's adorable and Alex O'Loughlin is in it which makes it that much better.

Which are your favourite proposals in historical, modern romance and movies?
Omg, fun!
For movies, I immediately have to call out Crazy Rich Asians. The moment when the ring was revealed, I remember this audible gasp in my theater (including me and my mom). Such a great way to close a loop in a movie, while being super romantic and swoony.
Obviously, Pride and Prejudice 2005. I prefer the way Joe Wright did it not only to the 90s miniseries, but the book as well. The rain adds to the atmosphere and passion, the anger and tension is palpable, the way the mood changes when McFadyen goes "Mr. WickHAM", the almost kiss. So good.
For all that there is some content that hasn't aged the best, Colin Firth's proposal in Love Actually was primo. The language barrier was used perfectly, and of course the reveal that she'd been learning English while he was learning Portuguese.... adorable.
This is technically in a miniseries, but it's piggybacking off two movies, so I'll mention it... When Q tracks Shelby down in The Best Man: The Final Chapters and does a grovelprosal??? So good. Like, you watched these two, objectively the most caustic and like... edgy? People in the series, dance around each other with random hookups (and a secret baby lol) for years, and he finally has to completely debase himself in front of a bunch of watching women who are like, filming this shit, begging her not to leave... So fucking satisfying.
For books, I would have to say....
The Bride Goes Rogue by Joanna Shupe and The Duke Gets Even both have really good proposals, and neither one goes well for the men in question for very different reasons. Preston's in Bride is honestly a bad proposal because he's a broken human being who doesn't know how to accept that he loves Katherine and needs to be with her, and she's like "I deserve better than 'we should get married because we make sense and the sex is bomb'" and just sweeps out and leaves him like a broken man. Whereas Lockwood in Duke is completely in love with Nellie (him being like "I fucking worship you and am completely incapable of getting anything done when you're not here because it's like my arm's been ripped off or some shit" is.... amazing) and completely capable of expressing that love, but she cannot accept it. And he knows this. But he has to try anyway because he's SO in love with her.
Something Fabulous by Alexis Hall has a great one where Valentine proposes to Bonny when he's like, hiding in a tree or something. And he's basically like "listen it's Victorian England and we're both men so it can't be legal but I want you to be whatever a husband is for me and this is VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO EXPRESS". It's adorable.
Enzo like... grovelprosing to Gia in Mafia Madman by Mila Finelli is so deranged. It's like, a quick kidnap (that's their love language), a "I can't breathe without you FORGIVE ME", a negotiation of what she needs out of the relationship (a huge ring, a long engagement, maybe a vasectomy from him because she's not sure if she wants kids, and freedom to have her career) and him being like "YES FINE WHATEVER" because he's realized he needs her like air, lol. My beloved garbage people.
The thing in A Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught where it's really less a proposal and more Royce taking Jennifer to the priest and being like "marry us, neither of you have a choice and I don't wanna be here either". And then he calls her a bitch. I loved that.
There are like... three? Proposals in Sierra Simone's New Camelot trilogy (one of which is accepted) and then sort of like an on the spot private spiritual wedding ceremony with what I guess is a proposal right before? And I loved all of it. There's so much angst and so much intense longing in those books. So many times for my boy Embry to get proposed to and go "I'M NOT GOOD ENOUGH TBH".
OOOh I loooove the proposal in The Long Game by Rachel Reid. There's such a great buildup to it, and it's so romantic, and I also love that Ilya and Shane go from this big emotional sappy proposal to fucking on the floor immediately after. Good for Them.

Warning: Harassment and sexual innuendos. Alcohol consumption of the girls of the wolf pack gang.
All the girls are the same age for this story (and every story I make).

All we wanted was a girl’s night out; a night where we don’t get groped, harassed or stalked. Is that so hard to ask? Emily, Clair, Kim, Rachel, Leah, Aliza (Embry’s imprint), and I all went to a bar in Port Angeles to get away from, well, everything. The Vampire Mafia war ended and just wanted a day to calm our nerves without the guys. But can we get a night where it could just be a bunch of girls having fun? No, because why would it (note to sarcasm)?

Our outfits where tight and colorful, our heels were as high as they can get, our hair and makeup were done to perfection, and when we walked in, our confidence was through the roof into the galaxy. We went to the bar to take shots and, of course, a creep decided to hit on Aliza. He snaked his arm around her waist and pulled her close. Emily reacted faster than us and his drunk ass fell to the floor. So, we took our drinks to a table in the corner.

When the alcohol settled and the music entered our atmosphere, we went out to the dance floor. Different music of all genres started flowing through. It was packed filled with people and you can feel the body heat of the person next to you.
All we were doing was dancing in our world and a few guys grabbed Leah, me, and Kim from behind. We pushed them away from us and kept minding our own business. The song “Back that Ass Up” came on and, of course, that is what some of us did. Emily (by surprise), Clair, Aliza, and I all back it up. And like the true friends they are, Kim, Rachel, and Leah were behind us laughing as we dance in unison to the song. But that was short-lived.

We went back to the bar to get my drinks. We cheered and laughed, talking among ourselves. That’s when I felt a hand go up to my back thigh to my ass and you best fucking believe I slapped the absolute shit out of the guy who did it. But to my surprise, it was a female. And that just pissed us off even more. We all gave her and her friends the “stank face” that said back the hell up, took our shots and went back on the floor.

The DJ played a Latin Mix and, of course, we all playfully acted gay for one another. We laughed and had fun as any person would. But the line was drawn when we were leaving. We called Sam and Paul to come and get us (mind you, it’s 2 am at this time) and that we’d be waiting outside near the bar door. All we were doing was standing there, taking selfies, and blasting each other on Snapchat. But apparently, that’s not acceptable either.

Leah and I had snapped. We were the tallest and strongest out of the six of us and when a group of guys started to harass Kim, Rachel, and Emily we were over it. All we wanted to do was enjoy our girl’s night out and we can’t even do that. So, you bet your ass we walked up on them and pushed them from them. They acted as if they were going to fight us, and they probably would’ve, had it not been for the two wolves’ behind them grabbing them faster than they could register.
Paul and Sam twist their arms around their back to the point where the bastards fell to their knees begging for them to stop. It was amusing honestly. And like Leah and myself natural behavior, we looked at each other, smiled, and kicked them in the balls. Should we have? No, but after tonight, we didn’t care too much. After Sam and Paul let them go, we went home and the whole time we went back to being a bunch of girls consumed with alcohol who were singing beyond off-key to every song that came on the radio.
When we pulled up to the house and all the guys came out looking worried. I guess Paul called them to tell them what happened because the doors opened, and we were helped and asked multiple questions. We all looked at each other and continued to laugh and sing to a song we didn’t finish singing. Even if Leah burned off all the alcohol due to her body heat, I was glad she was still able to soberly intoxicated as we kind of were.
“Babe! Are you okay!? Paul told us what happened?” Seth asked. Man…I love him. I hugged him and kissed his chest.
“I love you, Seth. You’re pretty and nice to be around.” He laughs and instead of responding he picks me up and carries me bridal style to his and Leah’s place. Who, by the way, is piggy-back riding on Jacob because, you know, why not? Emily and Rachel were trying to run from Sam and Paul while Clair, Kim, and Aliza were spinning together singing “It’s Raining Men.”
“Jesus Christ! What the fuck did you guys consume!?” Jared asked watching all the imprints and our inability to have control of what is going on.
“Jared! Language!” Emily tried to stay serious. Sam took that chance to grab Emily and haul her over his shoulder. Rachel saw it and said,
“NO! Emily!” then proceeded to run to grab her hand as if that was going to do anything. Paul followed Sam and grabbed Rachel. Somehow, they were able to grab each other’s hands and acted as if they were trying to save the other life.
“I got you, Emily!”
“Don’t let go!” Emily screamed.
“Damnit, Rachel! Seriously?” Paul said laughing.
“Oh, this is great footage. I can’t wait to show you guys tomorrow.” Brady said standing next to Collin who was laughing at the scene.
“What! Wait! Get my good side!” Leah screamed.
“But both sides are your good side!” I replied.
“Awe…thank you bunny!!!” we both laugh.
“Brady, send us a copy of this in the group text,” Embry said watching Aliza carefully so she doesn’t fall.
“No problem,” He said. Yeah, that night was good.
