guess who got presale tickets to the 50th anniversary event for phantom of the paradise babyyyy

#i got in 2 seconds after they went on sale and everything up to row 4 was already gone #and by the time i got this screenshot all of section b was gone #we still got really good central seats - main area row 4 is excellent #never had a shot at first row with the issues ticketmaster had this morning lol but i'm still STOKED #can't believe so many seats are already gone????? it's been 1 minute????

thinking about when I got my presale access for rep tour and went "hmm no too expensive" and then less than a month before the show went "actually I think I will get some tickets" and had an array to choose from........ simpler times

#and then the day before the show when my seats got moved because they were behind the stage #we just called up ticketmaster and asked if we could switch somewhere else because we didn't like where they'd put us #and even then we had a choice of where we wanted to go #now i'm sat here hoping and praying i'm even allowed into the sale 😭😭😭#talking

none of louis’ shows have sold out yet ☹️

I mean, that's good! It's only been a few days and to me that is way better than putting them in small venues where only the hardcore first few days fans get tickets. This way when his album comes out and people look into him they will be able to buy tickets to his upcoming shows! He has another, what, 8 months? To sell tickets to those shows- I remember very well buying tickets to his tour back in 2019 and then obviously there was a bigger delay than normal but even in the first couple months after those ticket sales loads of new people were coming and joining the fandom and were so sad that it was already too late to get tickets.

But also even if they don't sell out by the time the shows roll around, that's fine? It's pretty normal for shows to be booked in venues that are big enough to hold everyone who wants to go with perhaps a few extra seats like I kind of feel like that's just evidence that it's the correct size of venue! Reblogging a post right next to this talking more about this. Also please note that Harry shows, which I think are the point of comparison for a lot of this, also don't sell out immediately, HSHQ just have a policy of holding back tickets to make it look like they have to increase anxiety and boost sales and then releases them later (and sometimes they fuck that up and end up with a bunch of empty seats at the end). I for one am grateful that Louis' team are not using this tactic on us to create anxiety so let's not do the job for them and get all stressed, honestly things are going extremely well. Like truly, so so well! And I love that!

#blah blah blah #louis promo #I would add that when I saw Harry in 2018 one of the shows I went to was the last show of tour and I was able to because #they opened up more sections of seats at the last minute and that was for the last show one of the biggest shows of the tour #they were able to say it had been sold out because they hadn't released as many tickets as they could but they haven't even opened up whole #they hadn't even opened up whole sections #ticket sales #louis tickets

YES I FUCKING GOT TICKETS FOR ADO WORLD TOUR FUCK YES

#ado #ado world tour #HELL YES #they were mostly sold out in less than 5 seconds #i reloaded the page as soon as it hit 3pm (the time sale started) and ALL OF THE VIP #AND MOST OF THE GENERAL ACCESS TICKETS WERE SOLD OUT IMMEDIATELY #holy shit how the fuck did i actually manage to get them #we had me. my mum and my aunt all on our phones and laptops on this page to buy it #my aunt was able to get 2 bought #me and my mum also got 2 loaded up about to be confirmed but we didnt buy more than we needed obvsly we just let those go once we made sure #that my aunt had confirmed her 2 ones were purchased #IM SO FUCKING HAPPY HOLY SHIT #also managed to get seating tickets (well the venue is mostly seats anyways but still)#I DONT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT STANDING TOO LONG NOW CAUSE WE GOT SEATS

#the tickets for the new stones tour are 100% ‘this is the last American tour we can get insured for and we know it’ prices #either that or they’ve really become unconscionably greedy #I was put in charge of buying tickets for 2 friends and myself #it was going to be a ‘girls doing grad school in the us do a rock concert’ thing #looked at presale a few minutes ago #and a single seat like three sections from the nosebleeds in a big northeastern football stadium #is $630 #before Ticketmaster fees #get fucked #the only way I’m even paying $260 per ticket (absolute cheapest) is if you still have your actual drummer #I’ll check again on general sale for Friday #but I think we’re going to skip the Hackney Diamonds clusterfuck entirely #(I will spend $ to see live music. I don’t have a problem with it. I dropped $250 for front row машина времени tickets last year. but the #price to value ratio is so not here)
