De & Sawyer

De leaned back against the boulder with a small sound, head tilting up to the sky.

“She’ll be fine, De.” Sawyer’s arm slipped around her shoulders gently and he hugged her to him. “You know she’s sleeping right now anyway.”

Letting herself fall in to the hug, De gave a soft sound and rested her cheek on Sawyer’s shoulder. “I know. But she’s hurt, and I worry. I don’t want her to be confused when she wakes up.”  That boar had gotten the better of Jo, and while she was healing well De still worried so much right now.

Sawyer gave a soft sound and kissed De’s temple. “Next time, you can go with her on the hunt. Keep her safe and whole.”

“I’m going to. No more boar incidents. For anyone.” De closed her eyes and relaxed a little. “I want both of you safe and sound.”

Chuckling, Sawyer relaxed back against the boulder too. “I promise to be safe and sound. And I’ll help you keep the blonde safe.”

“Thank you, Sawyer. That means… a lot to me.” Head dipping, she rubbed her cheek against his shoulder. “Sorry. This is supposed to be more about us.”

He shifted and hugged her tighter to him some. “It’s fine, De. Sometimes ya need ta talk. And just because we’re talkin’ about what’s on yer mind, Jo or otherwise, doesn’t negate the fact that we’re here and spendin’ time tagether.”

Leaning up, De placed a kiss to his cheek. “Yer real sweet.”

Apologies || Anna & Deanna

Ever since Anna had gotten back to earth,  she'd been feeling guilty about the things she'd done after the brainwashing she'd undergone in heaven. She'd never liked following unreasonable orders like that, and against people that she'd liked, too.

Sam and Deanna had been nothing but kind to her during her time with them, and then she'd turned around and tried to murder Sam. Though she'd believed it was for the greater good at the time, she didn't feel like that excused her actions. And, back in her right mind, the angel wasn't so sure that destroying Lucifer's ideal vessel would have stopped him for long,  anyways.

Even so, when the red-haired angel crossed paths with Deanna Winchester, she hesitated. Here was the woman that had helped her to remember her true self, had helped her to regain her grace, and who she had then boldly betrayed.

"I'm sorry." she nearly blurted as she approached the hunter, not wanting to avoid the other woman.
