Would like to follow my trend of Alastor-betray the hotel bullshit with this scene recast from MLPFiM:

The main cast -Lucifer: *all in a cage*

Whoever owns Alastor’s soul: You gathered up all of them?

Alastor, poking Razzle: And his little dragon too.

Razzle: *tries to bite*

Charlie, crying in Vaggie’s arms: Why are you doing this?! I thought we were friends?!

Alastor: Oh we were. But she (?) offered me so much more than just friendship circles. Surely you saw this coming?

Charlie, still crying: I didn’t. I really didn’t. (Buries head into Vaggie)

-After, Alastor’s boss betrays him-

Alastor, weak and powerless on the ground: I didn’t. I truly didn’t.

(And yeah, I know Charlie might not trust him to not betray the hotel right away. But if the relationship between everyone in the hotel developed? If she were to kinda forget the reason Alastor is there? Think they’re breaking through to him and he accepts he’s part of the family?)

What they're saying is s5 is going to have Hawkins High School as one of the locations for the plot. What I'm hearing is jealous Mike opportunities...

I'm so down bad for Maddox and Ashlyn that my three favourite scenes are:

3. The Redlyn breakup - the chillest break up, Red supporting Ashlyn going after Maddox and the most insane storyline of Red realising he's bi because he kisses Seb

2. Just the entirety of Maddox during opening night - having an existential breakdown over your love life that you break the sound controls and then just give up on your stage manager duties and disappear (probably to help quinn)

1. The confession - a scene I want on repeat: the explanations of how afraid they are of how much they like the other then the "should we just stay friends?" Before having such a love induced make out their just completely ignore Carlos being there. (Also Maddison giving up and telling Maddox to stop coming back to her when she clearly likes Ashlyn... my baby just needed that push)

I love all my queer children but these two are the wlw so I love them just slightly more.

the wesley academy timeline is so inconsistent and makes no sense AT ALL and i know this is star trek where everything is inconsistent all the time (ESPECIALLY for dear wessie) but it makes me so mad. personally.

#it’s kind of implied that he goes in as a sophomore and is a sophomore in the game/first duty #sidenote i thought it was confirmed he was the only sophomore on nova squad. with nick being like yeah we chose you #even though you were young. and like nick is a senior i always assumed jean was too and that jaxa and josh were juniors #but he has to repeat the year at the end of that. meaning he’d be there for 3 more yesrs #AND that’s late season 5 every season is about a year and in journeys end (late season 7) he’s about to gradute #SO IT DOESNT ADD UPP I KNOW IT DOESNT MATTER. BUT IT MATTERS. to ME!!!#and also final mission he would enter as a sophomore (the academic year had already started) but then he’s STILL one a year later in s5 #AND IT DOESNT LINE UP AT ALL IF HE STARTS AS A FRESHMAN. because. it’s implied that his time on the enterprise means he’d skip a year #but he’s still obviously in his first year in the game and . NONE IF IT MAKES SENSEEE #if he started as a sophomore and his junior year was first duty that’s contradictory to him being the youngest on the team #IT DOESNT WORKKKK #because if jaxa was a senior. repressed senior year. she would graduate in season 6 AND IN LOWER DECKS SHES NEWLY GRADUATED ON HER FIRST PO #*post. Welp, I've finished the season 4 special...

Anyway-

#the finale wasn't bad btw. It's just it coupled with season 4 and 3 has me tired #I'm sure a lot of people like it #I'm honestly just really tired #I think I've just fallen deeply out of love with lmk #which is sad cause it had me by a chokehold for years #I could rant but I no longer like the show enough to give such an emotional response #Season 3 was already very high stakes and emotional. Season 4 did not need to be #even if I agreed with all the decisions they made. Having 2 high stakes world ending situations with so much angst is emotionally exhaustin #what drew me to lmk to begin with was the villain of the week format it had going #low stakes episodical things with super fun and endearing characters yk #sure they could have an overarching story. I don't actually mind the LBD plot at all #but what they did to SWK... I started watching the show because I saw a clip with him in it and I loved it so much I sought it out #they've massacred my boy #and then the continued angst and stress they tossed onto Mk. I don't appreciate it #maybe I can focus on making aus instead #season 1 and 2 still hold a special place in my heart (season 1 waaayyy more than season 2)#so maybe I'll rewatch those and see if I feel anything #but as of now I think I'm done with the show #ah well

My Hot-Take/Controversial Ranking of Doctor Who Seasons (excluding specials bc my special order is really unhinged)

3 > 1 > 10 > 4 > 5 > 8 > 11 > 12 > 9 > 7b > 2 > 6 > 13 = 7a

Disclaimer: I have favorite episodes that come from every single season on this list, including 7a. For example, even though Season 6 is low on the list, the God Complex, Almost People/Rebel Flesh, and Impossible Astronaut are some of my favorite of the show. I do really love the Power of Three. These are based on season arc/average feeling per episode/rewatchability on a subjective level.

#doctor who #listen seasons 1 and three are basically perfect television for me #season 10 is one of the most fun of the show and bill is my second favorite companion and I love the twelve/missy arc #season 4 is full of banger after banger and journey's end slaps it just doesn't quite hit for me personally like seasons 1 3 and 10 do #season 5 has some episodes i don't like (victory of the daleks for example) but the fairytale vibes/beast below/amy's choice/big bang SLAP #Season 8 has some great episodes/good arc but i just really don't vibe with how cruel the Doctor is sometimes/Danny deserved better #Season 11 (other than fucking kerblam) i really enjoy! it has some weak writing in places but i love graham&ryan's arc & the smaller vibes #Season 12 is objectively better than season 11 but has weaker character arcs and some weaker episodes so eh #season 9 has one of the best finales in the show/some fun two-parters (i adore under the lake/before the flood) but the arcs feel off #7b is...fun & i like a lot of the episodes but i don't like the name/day/time of the doctor & it drags it down + clara's not fleshed out #season 2 is so good in places (cybermen 2-parter/school reunion/new earth) but has so many weak episodes & not as much character developmen #season 6...I love some episodes but I DESPISE the pregnancy arc/let's kill hitler/wedding of river song & how little agency Amy & river hav #season 13 is just...FINE. I enjoy some of the side characters (vinder bel karvanista) but the flux itself felt weirdly...boring? no emotion #(Jodie was SO GOOD in this season though btw)#and season 7a...asylum of the daleks dinosaurs on a spaceship & angels take manhattan are on my least favorite episodes list. like bottom 1 #and I'm sorry but a town called mercy and power of three can't save that #amy and rory should have left with the god complex/christmas special and popped back like martha did in season 4 #i said what i said #wow i really went off in the tags on this one #meta #rankings

mlp season 9 is so weird tbh. literally feels like a lot of it is just recycled and like a lot of noodles got thrown at the wall to see if theyd stick

#the weird racism plotline between the 3 pony species (which was pointless both in the show bc it was solved quickly iirc #and in the long run bc g5 is in the same canon and that has the same plot)#the 3 villains being recycled from old seasons and uh ohhhh discord messed up and semi betrayed them oh no #if grogar was there for real i feel like itd be better tbh him just being discord was a bigletdown to me #twilight getting a second coronation??? like shes already a princess??? ik its so she can rule but why call it coronation #just felt weird to me. and it defeats the purpose of season 4 where she learns her place among the princesses and gets her own castle #it feels like they put that together just to make it feel more like a finale which ehhhh #ALSO why did they do that whole ''oh twilight doesnt believe in herself because discord helped her with her accomplishments #so that means he probably was behind every other time she saved equestria'' which is like. WHAT. ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT #first of all theyve gotta know at least four of those quests were totally them bc he was in stone for the first and was the second quest #and they did beat sombra on their own the first time so idk why sombra's second defeat was harped on #like twilight ur the smart one use youre head hes literally been either the villain/lockedin stone/drained of magic for most of your quests #and if theyre not implying that discord helped during all those then this plotline is still stupid as hell #oh no twilight discord helped you with ONE defeat so clearly every other quest you took was fake #im sorry i wouldnt be annoyed if the show didnt totally glorify itself with it and make itlike ''twilight has to learn to fight on her OWN''#the ending of mlp is still very sweet its just frustrating i feel like a lot of stuff was just retroactively made less important by this #echoed voice

Apropos of literally nothing, I finished Killing Eve and now I’m feeling bitter about how many shows I get invested in that end so poorly it makes me kind of resent the investment I made and not want to ever rewatch again. I honestly don’t watch a fraction of as much TV as I used to and I think I’m realizing that this is why.
