I had that statue commissioned like 4 years ago and I love it soooo much! The artist that I commissioned loved it so much he added it to his store as a permanent item!
His name is Bis-mole and it is a triple pun!
Pun 1, it's a bit-smoll (no shame tho)
That statue is made of pure bismuth that oxydized in a specific pattern to give the rainbow effect, so Pun 2, it's a bis(muth)-mole
And lastly, it required around 210 grams of pure bismuth to make, and the atomic mass of Bismuth is 208,98, so, Pun 3, it has a mole of Bismuth in it!
I can even stack a 4rth pun because this here is my 2nd identical mole statue, so it's my bis(2nd)-mole
Science fact about Bismuth, when the atoms gradually cool down, they re-arrange themselves in a kinda-square crystal visible to the naked eye. Since it's not perfectly square, it grows on top of itself but shifted a bit. In a proper pool of molten Bismuth that cools gradually, you can get stair-like crystals!

So there are a lot of "mad scientist" type supervillains out there. Today while working in the lab my coworker and I realized how absolutely hilarious it would be for all these lab-accidents, self-testing, and victims of unfortunate side effects to all meet up and present posters on their research.
"As you can see on this graph here..." *Points to graph using lizard tail*
"Having successfully disproven the null hypothesis I proceed to enter phase 2 of testing..."
"Now there were some side effects..."
"Unfortunately my funding was cut before I could ascertain a greater N value..."

I make terrible science puns, but only periodically.
….
CARLOS!!!!
Here’s the second painting in my Magic School Bus character portrait series, featuring none other than the pun master himself. It was hard to improve on Carlos’s canon design. All that was missing was a silly science joke.
Side note: Now that I’ve drawn it, I kind of want the Nitrogen -Erbium-Dysprosium (NErDy) pun on a shirt for myself.
