i had a dance battle!
so i had a dance battle at my school. we had this fun festival and i was assigned the role of a model for my class to showcase a dress, it was recycled since the theme for designing the outfit was to use only recycled stuff. in the end it looked v plain, so it's up to me to make the dress pop and outshine the others, (ps. i even went my way into spending hours practicing the real way to walk like a model).
i did my very best walking down the runway! brought my hands up high, did a curtsy, spun, enjoyed my time and just became a whole 'nother person.
when i got up to the stage the judges asked the dj to turn on a song and make the models dance freestyle. now, this was unexpected, it caught everyone off guard (nobody was ready).
they turned on this song,
i, as a very musical person with no training or knowledge of music theory whatsoever-- somehow felt the song and owned the stage. i jumped around, spun, did moves that i saw on videos and enjoyed my time. everyone screamed like crazy, people i didnt know, my class (which r prolly the craziest and weirdest of all) and kids who were a year younger. the moves came naturally and even though i had no idea what i was doing, i was very happy! it felt like i'm inside my bedroom, just relaxing and doing the most embarrassing things ever.
2 girls teamed up and danced together. they crouched and then moved their bodies up sexily. but other than that i was prolly the only 1 other than the 2 girls who danced (take into consideration that there's 6 people modeling). proud of myself!! it's the first time i went up the stage without any of my friends to help. all of the other models knew each other except me, so i was very nervous.
we lost though, bcs the dress wasnt pretty enough (woops). i'm a little upset since there weren't that many people appreciating my hardwork. however, i understand. they're tired from the screaming and stuff lol

This one time I went to summer camp and I was in a group with this boy who looked like if you crossed Tarzan with a red neck. This guy was from rural Nevada, wore hiking boots with with knee length gray skinny jorts and a way to small sand t-shirt. One the last night there was this big dance and apparently the biggest song to dance to was the sunset dance, needless to say he asks me and I straight up go “ oh I was going to watch the sunset.” After a bit I head back and it’s another slow song. I see him start walking towards me and I RUN away, quickly tapping someone on the shoulder practically force them to dance with me. MOST AKWARD DANCE EVER
