i’m actually so unwell about the implications of the sada/turo encounter at the crystal pool.

the professor’s notes mention a child giving them the “white volume.” that’s briar’s book. we gave them the information about area zero that led to the professor continuing their research and making the time machine (as they say they were in their lab prior to the crystal pool meeting) and the professor ai. you give them the book, they return to their time, they make the time machine, bring koraidon/miraidon to their time, the professor dies, and the story begins anew as you explore area zero once more. and then you get the book again and give it to the professor again.

they’re called paradox pokemon because they’re created by a paradox - the paradox created by the disruption of time and space by terapagos that allowed for this meeting in the first place. your encounter is what causes those pokemon to be discovered in the first place.
