Kirito vs Deku

Kirito: I saved the lives of all my friends at age sixteen

Deku: Cool! I was fifteen when I started saving them!

Kirito: I was fourteen when I was trapped inside of a video game where you could die.

Deku: When I was fourteen, I inherited a superpower that broke all of my bones.

Kirito: I was an outcast because of my skills in the game

Deku: I used to be an outcast because I didn't have any powers, but now I'm strong AND I have friends!

Kirito: I-I have a harem!

Deku: So do I. And mine has guys. Mostly guys.

Kirito: The person I am mostly associated with can cook and is insanely strong!

Deku: So is mine, but he can save himself when in dangerous situations AND has his own harem

Kirito: I can swing a sword really hard!

Deku: I can destroy a building in a single punch.

Kirito: I'm a good example for kids!

Deku: You mean pre-teen girls with magic dragons and an AI toddler? I set a good example for kids of various ages and backgrounds.

Kirito: I-uh-My antagonist caused the death of hundreds just so that they could play a game!

Deku: .... are you trying to compare a sadistic incel to Shigaraki Tomura, a dude who can turn you to dust by touching you? Because it's not working.

Kirito: I'm the one who defeated the game! Twice! By myself!

Deku: I have the burden of defeating the world's strongest supervillain and now he can take and control the powers of others as he sees fit, but I know I can do it because I don't just rely on protag plot armor - I also have insanely strong friends who love and care about me and are willing to throw it all away for the safety of others. I know I don't have to face anything alone when I'm with them.

Kirito: [sweating] I look good in black!

Deku: [pulling up Villain!Deku art] Huh, so do I. And I had the potential to be a compelling antagonist.

Kirito: My viewers think I'm cool!

Deku: My viewers understand that I still need time to grow and develop into a hero and I'm not rushing into anything. I didn't start off insanely good, I had to work every day for it and I still am. I fight my own demons with my friends and family by my side and I know that they don't have to rely on me to get the job done because they are perfectly capable of defeating villains all on their own.

Kirito: My villain was truley evil!

Deku: My villains - numerous villains each with different motivations and skills - receive proper character development and we can actually see the story from their point of view and all of the downsides that come with everyone having their own superpower.

Kirito: I-I can scream in German?

Deku:

Deku: Okay you got me there that's pretty cool. Trying to compare two very different people who each have different strengths and weaknesses doesn't really help anyone. Actually, I'd like to become your friend, Kirito! Wanna come over to my house to eat Ramen? You can bring Asuna!

Kirito: Sorry, but I have to go meet up with my cousin/sister and not think about how she's in my harem too and that she accidentally fell in love with me.

Sau tập 61 anime thì những ngày qua, người được nhắc tới nhiều nhất là Kacchan. Không chỉ anime, mà từ hồi manga thì mọi người đã luôn nói về nội tâm hay cảm xúc, bước ngoặt phát triển nhân vật của Kacchan…Mình không phủ nhận Kacchan là nhân vật đặc biệt nhất trong phần này, nhưng sau nhiều lần cày những chap truyện ấy cùng với xem đi xem lại đoạn Deku vs Kacchan trong anime, thì mình luôn muốn chia sẻ vài điều về Deku – cậu bé nhân vật chính của chúng ta. Deku là kiểu nhân vật không có ngoại hình hay tính cách quá rực rỡ, nhưng chính những phẩm chất và đức tính của em đã khiến em tỏa sáng hơn hết thảy. Deku tốt bụng, tử tế, Deku vị tha, biết hy sinh, Deku thông minh luôn cẩn trọng chu toàn mọi thứ…Không biết nói làm sao cho đủ về những thứ ấy, những chất liệu đẹp đẽ đã tạo nên nhân cách của cậu bé đầu xanh. Thế nên mình sẽ chỉ bày tỏ về một ưu điểm của Deku mà mình cảm nhận được rõ ràng nhất qua tập này. Vì sao dù bị ức hiếp nhưng Deku vẫn không ghét bỏ Kacchan, ngược lại luôn ca ngợi rằng nó thật giỏi, thật mạnh mẽ, và còn tha thứ cho nó? Các thủy thủ thì bảo vì Deku cuồng Kacchan. Fan sẽ nói rằng Deku có lòng vị tha vô bờ bến – phẩm chất thường thấy ở các nhân vật chính tốt tính. Mình lại nghĩ: vì Deku nhìn thấy được những thứ mà người ở vị trí của em khó thấy được. Thứ nhất, “vị trí” của Deku là vị trí của người bị xem thường, nhục mạ, vị trí phải chịu đựng đủ thứ tổn thương. Đứng ở vị trí đó, người ta có sinh ra lòng căm thù với đứa bắt nạt mình, thậm chí là thù cuộc đời, oán hận xã hội, muốn chửi chết cha cái làng Vũ…khụ…cũng là dễ hiểu (Gentle là một ví dụ), nên sao mà thấy được thứ gì ngoài sự xấu xa, độc ác của người khác. Nhưng Deku lại không. Thứ hai, mình xét trong bối cảnh “siêu anh hùng” của BnHA. Anh hùng sinh ra từ khát vọng của nhân loại, mang phẩm chất tinh thần và sức mạnh siêu việt, chiến đấu với cái ác để bảo vệ loài người. Đó là suy nghĩ thông thường nhất về những siêu anh hùng. Nhưng với mình, một người hùng còn là hiện thân của công lý và lòng tốt vĩ đại. Họ chính là sự tồn tại để khơi dậy và lan tỏa đạo đức con người, tôn vinh những ưu điểm thể chất và tinh thần của loài người. Thế nên, một người hùng đích thực phải là người nhìn ra và cảm nhận được rõ nhất những ưu điểm đó trong người khác. Từ hai điều trên, mình cho rằng đức tính này của Deku còn hơn cả lòng vị tha một bậc, đó chính phẩm chất của một anh hùng. Nói về anh hùng thì, dù Kacchan là nhân vật yêu thích nhất, nhưng mình tin rằng Deku mới là người sẽ trở thành anh hùng mình ngưỡng mộ nhất, theo cách mình ngưỡng mộ Superman. Dù xót xa vô cùng, nhưng mình biết có nhiều người không thích Deku, cũng như Sịp, bởi mẫu nhân vật tốt đến hoàn hảo dường như đã trở nên lỗi thời trong xã hội phức tạp ngày nay. Mang trên mình nỗi bất an về xã hội và thời thế, con người không còn tin mấy vào cái thiện ở đời. Thế nên những hiện thân của hy vọng, của lòng tốt vĩ đại tỏa đầy hào quang trở nên xa vời hay viễn vong, nhàm chán hoặc khó đồng cảm. Người ta muốn đặt niềm tin ở những gì gần gũi, như một anh hùng đầy thói hư tật xấu, hay một gã phản diện dễ được cảm thông khi mang chung nỗi trăn trở của loài người. Đó hoàn toàn là điều dễ hiểu. Nhưng mình muốn chọn tin vào những điều tốt đẹp tuyệt đối, như đứa trẻ lớn xác vẫn muốn tin vào truyện cổ tích ở hiền gặp lành. Có thể không với tới được, nhưng hào quang tuyệt đẹp của những anh hùng như thế sẽ như ngọn đuốc vĩnh cửu, giúp bản thân mình xác định được lối đi, tránh phải lầm lạc. Không thể chạm tới, nhưng có thể hướng về. finishin’ up fall 2019 anime

ahahaha it’s almost here. new year. new anime.

let’s look at some of the best and worst from this season. well, everything i watched actually....

dr stone: if anything deserves 10/10 it’s this bitch. my inner chemistry slut has risen from the grave. this is my lifeblood. it is so good. nearing ep 17 i started reading the manga because i NEEDED more. and i haven’t read manga in like three years. i cried then at that bitchass byakuya, and dr stone’s last ep made me cry again. i’m talking more tears than the Niagara falls........ and then cried again when the second season was announced. like. if there wasn’t one i might have just gone up in flames then and there

bnha 4: i feel it’s a little more lacking then s2 or s3, maybe in action or smth but idek. i like the bit more insight and development the world is getting. also i love eri, and fat is hot (when he aint fat), also that over..load? guy is hella bae. also nighteye is actually rly cool and pls dont kill all might thats rude. also why the sudden interest in red riot like tbh i don’t rly care bout him. i want kirishima or todoroki or w/e bc they’re hot and redboy isn’t sorry. his powers suck anyhow

sao alicization 2: i think it started out better than the first season did. i needed these flashes into reality that helps show more realism, rather than just ‘ooh haha fantasy sword magic stuff’. which honestly took away from what should be a fairly severe situation. yknow. so far animation’s been steady, tho the new op is meh compared to the last ones. im not a huuge alice stan but the alice vs asuna vs the other girls is not fun, i mean it’s all asuna’s fault she could be like ‘ya i married him, dumb fucks back off’ and that’d be that but nooo it’s her fault. isn’t she dating kirito? and just letting these strange girls do this stuff to him? bruh

enen no shouboutai: very good. also 10/10. though not as 10 as dr stone. maybe more like 9/10. animation kinda decreased in quality a lil. understandably hah. warming up to the new op, i like the bit where shinra/arthur kinda fighting w each other their friendship is goals. i like all the powers. also shou is a baby boy

shinchou yuusha: the last ep twist got me fucked up. no spoilers tho. i loved all the characters, ristarte was awesome, her expressions killed me sometimes like same girl same. yuusha-san was a little bland but that might’ve been on purpose lmao now that i think of it (last minute thought: ristarte sounds oddly like... restart, don’t it? ;)))))

shokugeki no souma 4: another epic season kakakakaka. they always end on a cliffhanger and i’m like FUCk the episode’s over already when did that happen>???????>?>?> we STAN souma x erina guys. her father is an absolute DICK. and i am so glad she fuckin showed him. you go erina. get that character development.

assassins’ pride: love me them character designs. and that op is to die for. i got the last ep to watch still. i’ve definitely warmed up to melida. and that navy-hair girl with the weird name is a goddess lmao we STAN a QUEEN. oh ya her name’s mule. dear author what made you choose that

choyoyu: i feel like a lot of the seven were glazed over, just kinda ‘oh aoi can chop stuff, merchant-san is .... a merchant that one time.... keine can heal people ..... and makes medecin worse than dr stone (btw i screamed at that like BRUH YOU FUCKIN COPIED OFF SENKU’S TEST WTF) tsukasa is way boring, akatsuki is meh and does not provide any explanation for how he pull off that magic shit without modern tech shit. ringo is cute and i want more of her actually showing why she’s smart and like... explaining it rather just ‘o she invents stuff yay’. shinobu needs to be the main-er character bc i love her god

kabukichou sherlock: ok i wasn expecting that at all. until they started insinuating how glasses dude was ‘jack’. bruh maki scary asf. did not give me good vibes ;-; also moriarty is a lil babby boy and i honest to god thought if he wasn’t jack then he was some mastermind bad guy at least bc i read sherlock holmes and we all know that bitch is a bad boy. but no now he’s a good boy and hella cute. also yes irene and sherlock dynamic kills me what a LAD
