Dino Watches Anime (Nov 5, 2022)
I gotta start putting the year in these things because I've been on Tumblr for too fricking long.
Anyways, I've been getting back into anime which is why my doctor is very concerned (I'm not even joking about that one).
These sequels are good (obviously)
Pop Team Epic
Honestly, the last few episodes have been mediocre. For one, I expected more out of Asanuma and Toyonaga's bit. Second, the writing, like all comedies, is extremely hit or miss. Pop Team Epic in particular is niche to many memes that people haven't even heard of. I'm watching it for the seiyuu and the bad jokes. Yuuma and Enoki's 3B part is what puts it under the "Yeah, I'll keep watching this" category.
Spy x Family Season 2
Yeah, it's good. Wholesome stuff right here. This is the type of content that's okay to put on your search history. Yor is also one of the few characters that Shonen Jump can sexualize without being put on a watch list. Not that they need to. We all show up for Anya.
Mairimashita Iruma-kun Season 2
My only complaint is that there isn't enough Clara antics. I have already written a post about this show. It's good. Go watch it.
Mob Psycho 100 Season 3
Takahiro Sakurai scandal? What is a "Takahiro Sakurai scandal"? For real, that scandal did kind of rock my enjoyment of the show, and I really wouldn't want Reigen to be played by anyone else, but that's up to the people involved with the show. Either way, this season has already been recorded. I just don't see how they can top that previous season with Reigen's revelation arc. Just remember kids, separate the artist from their work. Sakurai is just a small part of what makes Mob Psycho 100 good. There's also some controversy with the dub cast too, so don't think that watching dub will protect you from that.

Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de
The fanservice interferes with this show. Honestly, I've been watching anime for quite a while, and even this show really sticks out for some reason. Besides that, it's a cute love story that doesn't diverge too much from the usual "Romeo and Juliet" type fare.
I was really surprised about some of the casting decisions for this anime, but I think it worked out for the most part. I don't think I've seen Yuusuke Kobayashi play a meathead before.
Heaven's Design Team
Okay, this is the one show where it genuinely doesn't matter that the cast is never developed because it isn't that type of show. It's ecology mixed with creationism, and even though you'd think those two would never mix, it leads to an almost theistic brand of evolution, and I think that's okay. Just enjoy it for what it is. I watched it for the seiyuu who made the show fun. It's a nice watch, but I can't say it's mindless because you do actually need to pay attention sometimes.
Also, I accidentally watched this out-loud on a VC and still cringe every time I remember that. It was during one particular scene too. Ouch.
Shinchou Yuusha
I pretty much watched this for the voice actors. For one, Aki Toyosaki was really funny in the clips I've seen. Second, I got it spoiled for me and wanted to see the build-up for said spoiler. It was alright. Not a complete waste of time, but it still wasted time if you get what I mean (I watched it on 1.5 speed). I should've been productive. I feel like some of this stuff could've actually been abridged. Besides the two main characters and a few gag characters, the cast is extremely forgettable. It's almost like they made them forgettable on purpose. The fanservice interfered with the show a lot. I could not sit a minute without having female MC's boobs hanging out.
Romantic Killer
Yo, I made a post for all the reasons you should go watch this show. You should go do that. Quit reading this and go watch it. It's good. I like it. Makes the little dino in my brain boogey.
(also a comment on that gif: If this was your normal average harem with a male protagonist, MC would've definitely accidentally groped someone. Anzu never fall on their ball sack. I appreciate that it just stops with a kabedon and her accidentally stomping the crap out of him)

Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita
I just realized that I may have watched too many anime with Yuuichirou Umehara as the lead, and the funniest part is that all of the three characters in the past three anime I've mentioned have the exact same voice. It wasn't a whole "voice actors have such range" kind of thing. Umehara does have range, but I swear the past three entries have had him to do the exact same or extremely similar voices (closer to his natural voice). He was also in Heaven's Design Team where he did give the character a different voice. So yeah, he's been in four of the anime I've watched lately, and I think it was done by choice? I don't know. He happened to align with a lot of my stuff on my "watch later" list. Meanwhile, Rie Takahashi has given such range as Anzu and the MC of this anime. Man, I have slept on how good she is.
Anyways, this anime is alright. Honestly, go read the manga which covers the first four episodes. From episode five on, the anime goes at a snail's pace compared to the first four episodes which adapted at light speed. Bro, choose your pace then STICK WITH THE PACE YOU CHOSE.
Chainsaw Man
You know, I thought this while reading the first few chapters, but man, it feels both refreshing and insulting to have a straight-forward pervert as the protagonist. Thanks for being honest with us and what you want to project, but man, I am not part of the crowd that would relate to this (asexual). It beats all of those "I'm a good guy who just happens to grope women in my spare time" MCs, but man, how am I supposed to get behind Denji as a main character? Also, screw those people who dislike the casting. I strongly like this cast. Tomori deserves support and so does that trombonist playing Denji. Also, RIP to all of them peeps who are falling for the Makima x Denji stuff. We all know how that's gonna turn out given the tone of the show... and the manga readers screaming spoilers at us from 100 kilometres away.

Bocchi The Rock - Season 1
I binged Bocchi The Rock. Here are some thoughts (spoilers below).
Poor Bocchi.
This is an old formula. The lonely will remain lonely until someone literally yanks them out of their loneliness. But I wish an anime had a lonely who put some effort and conquered their loneliness by themselves for once.

Nevermind the comment why is hyper-socially-anxious Bocchi going around smelling people. Hypocrite!
Bocchi, you're really making this hard for yourself.
The scene where she plays for the first time caught me off guard.
She practiced a lot so that means she's really good, right?
She said she had confidence, that's a huge red flag, she probably sucks despite all her practice.
But she said she had only SOME confidence so what if the red flag is a fake flag and she is actually really good and this is the event that makes her life change forever?
In the end she sucked... because playing in a band and playing solo is different? THE WORLD IS UNFAIR TO BOCCHI!!! THIS WAS HER CHANCE. WHYYYYYY.
The manager notices it and casually makes her more anxious while thinking she's helping it lol
Interesting that 2 turns out to be sort of true for the other girl who practiced a lot in the wrong instrument.

This show is just too relatable. It's like everything they say is supposed to be relatable somehow. Or maybe that's just me.
Like I said, this show is just too relatable.
I love this creature. I haven't seen someone with such facial freedom since Shinchou Yuusha.
She looks pretty epic when she plays, so it sucks that didn't work in the final episode! The world is unfair to Bocchi!!!
While waiting for S2 I recommend watching Paripi Koumei if you like music or Handa-kun if you like black humor doses of loneliness (Watamote if you like it very black).

A phenomenal isekai comedy anime in 2019. Anime Shinchou Yuusha tells about Dewi Ristarte who summons a hero to help her save the world named Gairbrunde with a high level of difficulty.
Ristarte summons a hero named Seiya Ryuuguuin who has a very rare ability. Even though Seiya has extraordinary abilities, he has a super careful nature. In fact, he bought three sets of armor, one he wears, the second as a backup, and the third as a backup if the spare armor is destroyed.
What's worse, he doesn't hesitate to use his ultimate skill just to defeat low-level slimes.
Like Arifureta, Shinchou Yuusha is also an isekai anime with an aggressive MC who doesn't really care about saving the world they live in. The two of them are also accompanied by a beautiful female main character, but Yue and Ristarte's attitudes and roles are contradictory.

Danmachi
A very popular adventure anime, Danmachi follows the story of a boy named Bell Cranel who was not accepted by almost the entire Familia, until he finally met Hestia. Hestia is a goddess whose power was sealed, eventually she was abandoned by her followers and fell into poverty.
Feeling lonely and feeling sorry for Bell, Hestia then invited Bell to become a member of her Familia. Hestia and Bell's journey to become the strongest familia begins.
Like Arifureta, Danmachi uses the concept of a labyrinth as a dungeon, so adventurers/heroes can level up quickly. Even though Danmachi doesn't carry a dark fantasy theme, the main character is similar to Hajime.
At the beginning of the series, Hajime and Bell were very weak, until they finally had to work on themselves to become stronger.
6. Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World)

An isekai dark fantasy anime with great popularity, Re: Zero focuses on Natsuki Subaru who is suddenly transported to another world while returning from the convenience store. There he met Emilia who was chasing a thief carrying his badge.
Subaru then helps Emilia find the thief, until they are both killed. However, Subaru suddenly awakens and gains the ability "Return from the Dead", where he is at the checkpoint just before meeting Emilia.
Again, Subaru must make acquaintance with Emilia, but this time he must prepare to change the future.
Re Zero's similarity to Arifureta is that the two main characters are sent to another world. Hajime and Subaru experienced a lot of suffering which gradually began to change their attitude, even though in the future Subaru suffered much more than Hajime. Re Zero is highly recommended to watch for those of you who like the dark fantasy genre.
7. Goblin Slayer
Goblin Slayer
Another dark fantasy anime that is also very in demand, the story of Goblin Slayer begins when a young priest and his party are cornered by goblins. Then someone who called himself Goblin Slayer saved them. He was a man who dedicated his life to hunting all goblins at any cost.
Even though it's not an isekai theme, Goblin Slayer presents a dark story with various fighting actions with monsters. Goblin Slayer also has harem elements in it, but not as obvious as Arifureta.
While waiting for confirmation that Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou Season 2 will be released, there's no harm in watching the list of anime above.

So far, Shinchou Yuusha Season 2 has not been officially announced, so there is no release date for the second season of this anime, but the question is if there will be a Shinchou Yuusha Season 2 and when it will be released. Here’s everything we know so far regarding whether or not there will be a new season of Shinchou Yuusha and when it will be released. The anime series Shinchou Yuusha, known as Kono Yūsha ga Ore Tsuē Kuse ni Shinchō Sugiru in Japanese, is based on a popular light novel of the same name that was first published in 2017. The Shinchou Yuusha light novel series is written by Light Tuchihi and illustrated by Saori Toyota. Cautious Hero is a great isekai-fantasy anime series with comedy elements loved by people worldwide, which follows Seiya Ryuuguuin, who, after being summoned by the goddess Ristarte to save the world of Gaeabrande from destruction, prepares himself for his noble journey. The anime television series Shinchou Yuusha has only had one season so far directed by Masayuki Sakoiand animated by Studio White Fox.There has been no word on whether or not the director will return for Shinchou Yuusha s2. The first 12-episode Shinchou Yuusha television anime series premiered in Japan in October 2019. Since then, this series has amassed a sizable fan base that is still waiting for Shinchou Yuusha Season 2 Episode 1 or some sort of sequel. Will there be Shinchou Yuusha Season 2? Shinchou Yuusha Season 2 has a low possibility of happening. However, there are reliable rumors that Shinchou Yuusha Season 2 has already been green-lit. Most likely, because the anime was cheap to produce. If the rumors are true, the second season should be announced in the next few months. The main reason why I’m skeptical of the rumors is that this anime adaptation didn’t sell too well. The average number of Blu-Ray sales is roughly 700, which is low, and there are only 150 pieces of merchandise and just three figures manufactured for this series. Also, the latest volume of the light novel sold only approximately 7,000 copies, and that was after the anime adaptation. Furthermore, no new light novel volumes have been released in the last two years. As a result, I don’t see why this series should be renewed for a second season. In addition, the author launched a new series called Full Dive. In other words, if the next season isn’t announced within the next 6 to 12 months, the rumors are false, and there will be no sequel. Shinchou Yuusha season 2 release date There is no official release date for Shinchou Yuusha season 2 because a second season was never confirmed, canceled, or announced, so there is no countdown, and we need to wait and see if we get the release date in the next few months. It really depends on if the rumors are true, This is one of the few anime sequels I doubt will happen, but because it was so cheap, I could see Kadokawa making a short second season. When White Fox’s next anime project is revealed, we’ll find out if Shinchou Yuusha season 2 is in the works. They are unlikely to release more than one or two new series next year. I usually don't like the main heroine of an isekai anime or any anime because she is not that interesting. Sure she's pretty, but that is often the only reason why she's liked a lot (In my opinion, at least). But, surprisingly, Ristarte, or Rista, from Cautious Hero is one of my top favorites from the show. I like her chemistry with the main character, Seiya, and how she grew as a character throughout the show, especially when the finale happened. Also, Rista's voice actor did a phenomenal job voice acting the character who many jokingly say is like Aqua from Konosuba in a way.

This is the second time I've seen this sort of bullshit villain OP asspull happening. The first was in Shinchou Yuusha (Cautious Hero).
Well, in Cautious Hero it doesn't work because the hero is Cautious enough to prepare for whatever happens 9 steps in the future.
Here it doesn't work because 9 steps in the future Shadow-sama is predetermined to win. How or why doesn't matter. It's an established fact before the fight even starts.

I hate it when they do this sort of scene where a character is disappearing and starts saying something that gets quieter and quieter until only the other character can hear their whisper and the audience isn't allowed to know what they said like it ends in 私を so uh she wants he to do something to her I guess until some episode later something happens and there's a flashback to this scene and she whispers the whole sentence and reveals all the secrets and viewers like me are supposed to be like "OOooooohhhh so that's what she said!"

So many isekai anime about having a "cheat" skill and this is the first one that sounds realistic: moderate knowledge about scientific breakthroughs in a pre-scientific method world.
In fact Shadow doesn't just have a cheat skill, Shadow is the giver of cheat skills considering all the knowledge he "seeded" in his Shadow Garden.
This is the moment you notice Shadow is really just a foster parent for a family of orphans used as test subjects by an evil organization.

I see, so basically because she won the sword tournament or whatever was it called she thinks she's the strongest swordwoman in the world so when she saw Alpha's sword technique, which was in another dimension, she didn't even register that as being a sword technique but an artifact because otherwise she would have to admit she's weaker and she can't have that (Shadow's atomic isn't even a sword technique, I mean come on she does a thing with a sword but that's just for the aesthetic it's pure magic but they're mage knights so technically it's part of the job but
Anyway this is setting it up for her aspirations to be shattered and her turning evil. I completely forgot about it but Shadow also murdered a girl's dad some episodes ago so I don't think all characters (who by coincidence almost all happen to be female) will end up liking him you'll also have some antagonists (who happen to be almost all female by coincidence) too.
At first I thought this was some whip sound related to masochistic asshat but thinking about it again IT'S THAT SOUND OF A TOWEL SLAPPING CID TAUGHT SHOWED HER WITH THE EXCALIBUR ISN'T IT??????
Oh no, drills is too close to becoming more powerful than a human being is allowed to be! Thus her body suddenly got infected by something probably. I wonder if that's the thing that transforms them into Mitties and Shadow is going to save her and she'll become part of the Shadow Garden.
Also who is Omega. Omega sounds really cool as a letter. Hope there's an Omega.
