To Sandwood Bay
The rain takes me by surprise as I make it to the shore
I walked seven miles and more to see the view of the bay stretched out before me
I made my way through thick dune grass and passed the ruins the sheep now call home
I saw a single beetle climb out the sand as I set foot on this unmarked beach
Here in the cold of the wind I watch the endless waves topple over as I cry with the rain

492 Blairmore to Sandwood Bay
[This walk was completed on the 2nd May 2023] Every coastal walker who has walked through this area has told me I MUST visit Sandwood Bay. So, here I am, at the beginning of the path that leads to the beach, and I’m filled with a mixture of excitement and apprehension. I’m finally going to see this famous bay. But, perhaps the route will be too tough for me? Even worse, perhaps the bay will…

Les highlands - Ecosse
A voir :
Île de Skye : avec Mealtfalls (cascade), Old Man of Storr et Quiraing.

24 avril:
26 avril:
Balade direction Cape Wrath jusqu'à mi-chemin puis retour.
