“I’m worried you’re going to squander a pitch opportunity for both of us,” Giovanni said. Miyamoto opened her mouth to interrupt him. He presented her the now-drinkable coffee and pressed on as she took it and drank greedily. “If we go about this right, approach from a position of strength, our boss could see this effort as an affirmation of our commitment to the initiative.”

“I’m not committed to this initiative. She ordered me to go with you,” Miyamoto stopped her swigging long enough to say.

“The initiative, as it stands, is vaguely defined. A number of projects could be argued as necessarily adjacent to its success. Or worth exploring in parallel.” As he spoke, Giovanni watched for signs that Miyamoto understood his implications. Staff, processing power, budget, resources… no researcher at Rocket Corp ever turned down access to more.

Miyamoto tossed back the dregs of the thermos and set it down with a hollow bonk . “Your mother keeps me busy enough, thanks.” Her eyes flashed with wicked glee. The innuendo was meant to put him off, and it usually did, but he had steeled himself against its eventuality once he brought up the boss.

Giovanni is probably one of the hardest characters to stylize in my opinion, that’s why I did a quick study so that I can figure out if a stylized look looks better or a more canon look looks better

What if while Giovanni is running around in Hisui….Rei is running around in Modern Day.

Rei in this story is Arceus Assistant, performing whatever task Arceus needed done wherever it may take him. The next trip was supposed to be to Hisui to document all pokemon and find a way to close a rift…

When all of a sudden he instead wakes up in someone else's body.

Now he's stuck as Giovanni for who knows how long, trying to make his way to Sinnoh so he can hopefully meet with Arceus and get back to his original body.

Tagging along with his adventure is an Amnesiac Emmet who wants to find 'the man dressed in black', Archer who is literally there to make sure he doesn't ruin Giovanni's body, and mew he freed from Team Rocket.

Unsurprisingly the latter pissed off a certain Madam Boss who decided to best way to get him back...is to make him a wanted criminal by leaking all of Giovanni's crimes.

It's not a easy journey to say the least.
