Your recent posts about saints reminded me of my interest in Joan of Arc when I was in middle school. She.... awakened something in me

she really did!!! mulan was the first for me not gonna lie especially with the cultural similarities, but joan of arc...middle school...it's like that perfect age where you don't know what you are or what you're doing and suddenly there's this person in history who you relate to, but you don't understand WHY, and you're just like, yeah i'm gonna imprint on you for a few years. we'll see how that goes.

tbh ep 8 had me considering sam’n’celia’s wacky investigative tour of tma characters who are maybe doing better and maybe they meet a curmudgeonly but highly passionate schoolteacher (who incidentally maybe still has an arachnid themed childhood trauma story) and maybe after their discussion over coffee the schoolteacher goes to leave and makes eye contact with a beautiful but disgruntled executive assistant approaching from up the street. im just saying.

Pindimar Lake House in Port Stephens by Casey Brown Architecture

The plan is a cluster of 7 pavilions raised on a platform to avoid flooding and centred on an open court. The pavilions nestle under the existing tree canopy with a large two way fireplace anchoring the central court. Conceived as a cluster of sheds or tents, the simple mono pitched roofs minimise their presence while letting in sun and breezes between the buildings. The pavilions collect and store their own water in 4 large above-ground tanks, two of which are kept for fire fighting. Waste is treated on site with an Envirocycle system. The two-sided central fireplace made from off form concrete heats both the main living pavilion and the central court. Cooling is achieved by sliding walls, opening louvres and electric ceiling fans.

Can you explain what an endogenous system is? I only recently started educating myself aand I’m a little behind on vocabulary.

a system not formed by trauma, which is impossible, so either they’re a traumatic system who has completely forgotten their trauma, or more likely they have their own mental health issues that aren’t DID, yet they’re adamant that it is.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to have a system without trauma. That is precisely how systems are made, that is the ONLY way systems are made.

Permanent Camping Ground in Berry by Casey Brown Architecture

Two tiny copper towers located on a gentle rising hill, amongst the lush green paddocks of Berry overlook the Pacific Ocean. Designed to provide the essential requirements for shelter, a bed, a porch or deck, a fire place and a bathroom. A retreat with ‘everything you need and nothing you don’t need’ with the demands of living distilled to the bare essentials. The structure all in recycled iron bark from a disused wharf floats above the pasture grasses. Three manual winches lift and lower the sides creating protected decks and shelter from the summer sun. Water is collected on the roofs and gravity fed to the tank above the bathroom and on to the shower and kitchen. A pot belly wood fired stove heats the cabin at night. Solar panels on the roof provide power for lighting. Permanent access is provided to the roof which doubles as a lightning conductor.

in relation to the @visenyaism asoiaf saintposting i think that saints would be associated with one of the seven faces e.g. saint criston of the warrior saint catelyn of the mother but that the overwhelming majority of saints would be associated with the maiden the mother or the warrior. then father and smith and then crone and i don’t think there’d be any saints of the stranger but edgy teenagers in faith families would complain there should be. i also think there should have been some smaller peasant congregations worshipping the seven and their saints but with ‘heathen’ practices (like isolated medieval peasant communities slaughtering goats for mary)
