Rachel made the Run Joey Run video to play herself up as ‘musically promiscuous’
She had Finn, Jesse and Puck all appear in it because she’d dated all of them
She explicitly asked them to help because she’d dated them
Brittany and Santana were also in the video
This is an unrelated detail I’m sure

I know this is an incredibly controversial opinion, but Run Joey Run (Glee Cast Version) is one of the best piece of media to come out of the 2000s
but seriously the vocals are AMAZING and the editing Rachel did was horrifically hilarious.

Paul Vance, Writer of “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polkadot Bikini,” “Run Joey Run” and Others, Dies at 92
Songwriter Paul Vance, best known as the lyricist of “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polkadot Bikini” and “Run Joey Run,” has died, The Washington Post reports.
Vance was 92 and died May 30.
His first hit was “Catch a Falling Star,” recorded by Perry Como in 1957. Inspired by Vance’s 2-year-old daughter and a family day at the beach, “Itsy Bitsy” was a hit for Brian Hyland in 1960.
Vance called the song a “money machine.” And it worked out well for Hyland, too.
“Many thanks to Paul Vance for giving a 16-year-old kid the opportunity to record ‘Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polkadot Bikini,’” Hyland wrote on Facebook. “The song gave me my career jump start.”
Vance’s last hit came in 1975, when he wrote “Run Joey Run” for David Geddes.

"Stop asking why I'm sad, just know, it's enough to know I'm sad"
I know it's been awhile, but I'm simply couldn't let Madeleine Hyland's birthday pass without a little celebration. So here is a tribute to our benevolent queen, Madeleine, and the heartrending wonder that is Little Miss Why So by The Amazing Devil

Ive been listening to Secret Worlds a lot recently and I havent seen anybody talking about my favourite part, so I'm going to.
When they sing "you asked me to climb, I never learned", Madeleine and Joey sing the last three words differently. Her voice raises, a desperate plea to be understood, whereas his goes down, resigned and unwilling to challenge what is indisputable. He has already given up, whilst she is still fighting. It really emphasises how far they've drifted, that they can't even find any common ground when they share the same grief, the same regret.
