It's @rottmnt-residuum's anniversary event and I've been wanting to learn how to draw better (I draw once in a blue moon so it's not as if I'm that much of an artist)

So I've decided to redraw the comic! I've heard that drawing a lot is better for learning and retaining skill rather than just drawing detailed stuff every once in a while, so this'll be a bunch of practice. I know it's not exactly a panel redraw and that I'll just be drawing the people and not backgrounds (I'm trying to focus on areas I'm not good at... so it'll be a lot of faces and busts) but I think it'll be fun!

Anyway, here's my redraws of pt 1 of the comic. The quality isn't super great (I like to draw traditionally and I don't have super great lighting for pictures) but I think it looks pretty good

(I have little exclamation marks on some of them because I got the mouth right on the first tries. It's a struggle so I always get excited when it works out for me)
