My June TBR video is now live! Watch it here!
Since June is Pride month, my tbr is filled with lots of wonderful queer (mostly romantic) stories. The only one I own physically is Check Please, which will be my reread for the month. I’m definitely going to be craving all the baked goods.
Along with those, however, I'm also hoping to continue An Ember In The Ashes to see where this YA Fantasy story will take me next. I've heard many amazing things and after finally starting the series last month, I'm excited to continue.

59. I read tweet cute for romanceathon and oh my gosh I loved it so much. I'm giving this one ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 stars. It wasn't quite a 5 star but this book made me so happy. I will definitely be trying the recipe for monster cake as it sounds so freaking good. There are going to be spoilers in this review so you've been warned.

in this cute rom com, our main characters pepper and Jack have a major twitter war over tweets regarding both of their family own businesses. It reminded me so much of my favorite half night stand by Christina Lauren which I also loved because it had the mystery lovers aspect to it. In my favorite half night stand the main character creates a profile with a different name and begins to talk to her lover while he has no idea its really her, his best friend. In tweet cute, jack creates an app that other students at his college campus use that creates a user name for everyone using a type of animal. The same students that are having this crazy Twitter war are also talking to each other on this app. I loved both of the main characters so much. There were some cheesy parts (ha, see what I did there?) As Jack's families business was girl cheesing and the peppers was big league burger. The author totally had picked these character names for their couple name to be pepper Jack which is so adorable yet so cheesy. Theres a whole history behind the family feud and the owner's children having a Twitter war which I dont want to completely ruin so you'll just have to read it. But this was a super cute hate to love and overall it was a great read.

This book is apparently a dark/thriller romance who attracts me since I read the synopsis and some reviews. I’m so impatient to finally read the first book of this duology!

I will participate at the romanceathon who will take place from June 17th to June 23th.
For the first challenge “read a forbidden romance”, I choose to finally read “Kick” by C.D. Reiss. I have on my shelves since last september/october and since I’m very interested by C.D. Reiss books … let started with this one!
If I have time since “Kick” have like 173 pages, I might also read “Taboo Tales” or another book by Alexa Riley since a lot of her book - if not all of them - or about a taboo/forbidden romance.
