Modern AU & College AU

OgCale hide the fact that he's a fudanshi (Someone who love Yaoi/BL Doujinshi). Because he's scared it's going to ruin his trash reputation.

One day, Roksoo, his senior who work in a bookstore, saw him buys a BL Novel. Cale was so embarrassed about it. And threaten Roksoo not to tell anyone about it.

Cale's not that worried about it, since Roksoo is a loner in school, and it seems like he doesn't have any friends. So there's a big chance that he's not going to tell anyone about it.

Roksoo's actually the one who write the BL Novel that Cale bought. He's also Cale's favorite author. But Cale doesn't know about it.

This is the first time Roksoo saw someone he knows bought his novel. So he bluntly ask Cale his opinion about his orher works.

Cale was flustered, and confused. But answer it anyway.

Roksoo thinks that Cale's really cute. Expecially his gap moe. He ended up observing Cale for his BL materials.

And he also test some BL materials on him. Like kabedon, sharing umbrella, etc. (Kinda remind me of Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun).

Cale at first was wary around him. But started to warm up to Roksoo. And they got close with each other, and ended up falling in love.

Guard!KRS/Young Master OG!Cale

This is from a question I got on retrospring a year ago!

Modern au version!

KRS looked for the job because he needed to pay for his studies and the paycheck was good

They hired him because he was the only one who wasn't intimidated by Cale + it was Cale who asked for him ("I don't want a loser who can't look me in the eye" = "this guy's indifferent look is hot")

They spend a lot of time together and Cale practically takes him as a pet at first but they slowly grow closer

KRS always looks with a murderous expression at those who speak shit of his young master + Cale confused as to why the rumors about his trashy attitude were diminishing since he has a new bodyguard

KRS has Sundays off but rarely uses them for anything other than hanging out with Cale or being at home (with Cale ofc)

At some point they become boyfriends but they don't put that title on their relationship until a long time later

Deruth will definitely be present at their future wedding, not knowing whether or not he regrets hiring KRS because he "stole" his son and Cale moved in with him at some point in their relationship

They adopted two cats and a lizard 👀

Cale is definitely simping over his boyfriend's body and vice versa

Ok so a few aclarations, he reincarnated in TBOAH in other body, WS is here too, and there's no Hunters (can add if you wanna)

KRS is a scammer but he need a place to stay a little more permanently for a while since he had a child now (dilf!roksoo <3)

Cale chose him bc is hot and he's a horny boy

KRS chose this work for three reasons:

And Cale sounds pretty in the book (and definitely the book didn't lie)

Idk what it is but something about the RokCale ship or even just their dynamic in general from the fanfics I've read that seems so enticing to me. I think it's the idea of someone seeing/knowing you at your (supposed) worst and still deciding to approach you, to believe you can be better (and that you are better than you think), and to love you. Or maybe it's the idea of someone who fundamentally very different from you and yet similar at the same time, who seems to know your heart like it's their own. Maybe it's the notion of being seen for what you are by some who gets it.

I do read some krs!Cale-centric fanfiction but when it come to LCF 'canon'-verse, I avoided E-rated and shippy ones and I don't usually bookmarked them

It's hard to find one to my liking because most M-rated and T-rated ones still with ships and s3xual content while there are few with those rates because of the theme or gore or language but most are not, so...

I like the light read ones, but most of the times I just want to read the heavy ones that without ships but those are so rare...

Normally I'm an og AlbeCale shipper, but a RokCale Tangled AU would be really funny.

Imagine the scene at the bar with ogCale as Rapunzel, singing about whatever his dream is. Growing trapped in a tower and being he who he is, I can see it being the same that the movie or something related to freedom or a family.

Then someone asks Rok Soo what his dream is and he is like—

Rok Soo: Slacker life.

Griphook guy: excuse me?

Rok Soo: I want my slacker life.

Also, like Rok Soo is Rok Soo, instead of being two people traveling, they're four. Because Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo were the other two commiting crimes with him and they are not betraying their donsaeng. Enter into that suspicious tower? It was their idea.

Plus, Raon can be part of their group.

Then you have Barrow as mother Gothel. Guy kidnapped Cale when he was little to use his powers for him. He also wanted to see if there was anything else Cale could do with his powers besides healing + immortality. He's busy running his secret organization, so he didn't realize when Cale started to be more wary of him. Or that Cale's pets are actually beast people.

Ohn and Hong play the role of the chameleon. They had been living in the tower with Cale for a while before this guys broke into their house. They're fine with it because anything that puts distance between Cale and that bastard is good in their books. They're also the ones that helped Cale realize that whatever Barrow wants, it's not good for him.

Idk about the horse tho. Maybe thy can have an Archie instead.

Btw, Cale still can be the Count's son instead of a prince. Because Rok Soo would steal a rich Count's money rather than the crown of a royal family. Is less dangerous and easier to use. Where would you sell a crown, anyways?
