Jeyna friendship

They're both friends from childhood who got seperated in high school and reunite in their first year of college/university.

In their first year, they both take political science as a major.

Between their first and second years, they go through a number of existential crises (existential dread is always fun with a friend)

In their second year, they change majors. Reyna becomes a Botany major and takes a few GSWS class. Jason majors in Architectural History (let's pretend he attends one of the few unis that offer it) and attends a philosophy class.

Their the type of friends who start dressing like each other after a while.

Jason finds this delightful, meanwhile Reyna is in crisis.

“Hylla, either the Underworld froze over and Jason developed a sense of style or worse, I'm dressing like a white boy.”

They are study buddies through and through. You can catch them hanging at the library studying for an upcoming exam, just do not disturb or Reyna will square up and win.

They adopt two dogs, but both dogs end up loving Reyna more. Jason is in tears and Reyna is in heaven.

Jason tells Reyna the corniest jokes and she laughs every. single. time.

Nico is their other best friend.

Jason once jokingly asked Nico who his favourite was between him and Reyna. Nico replied “Reyna” with zero hesitation (Jason is in tears once more).

The type of friends to go on jogs together every morning.

Reyna teaches Jason Spanish (Leo and Percy find his accent very funny, but commend his enthusiasm)

Jason hates that Thalia and Reyna are friends, because it means that they can exchange more embarrassing stories about him.

Sometimes they go the college gardens at night and just discuss their feelings and hopes and dreams.

Existential dread is real, good thing they can talk about it with each other.

They have a shared vision board (Jason's idea) with all the places they want to visit (Diocletian's palace is marked the most to visit)

Jason suggested nicknames for them to call each other, but Reyna vetoed the idea as he mentioned it.

“You can call me Jay and I can call you Rey. That way we rhyme–”

“No.”
