daily reminder day 119: eddie k-tozier is alive and well and right now he’s just getting out of the shower and getting dressed. but instead of going to his side of the dresser, he goes to richie’s and steals one of his hoodies. ever since they got together years ago, what was richie’s clothes also became eddie’s, and that hasn’t changed since. richie’s clothes are more comfy than his own and smells just like his richie. plus richie has always been /very/ verbal in how much he loves seeing eddie in his clothes. so it’s a win win for both of them.

nobody is more delusional than reddie fans. somehow, the ENTIRE fandom decided that eddie kaspbrak is alive and well, despite the fact that his death was written in the novel almost 40 years ago, and i hardly ever see reddie content/it content awknoleging that eddie is dead. we all just pretend that never happened.

i have a headcanon that when richie gets particularly lovesick, he'll make little doodles and then throw the pages in their fireplace, or put it in the shredder afterward. one time eddie barged in without knocking while richie was doing this, and richie ended up throwing his entire notebook out the window. stan makes fun of him when richie has to explain why he doesnt have notes for chemistry anymore.
