hey so like i was looking through s3 again bc i wanted to get a closer look at the generals (mostly ezor), and i noticed ezor seems to be kinda objective-driven? she’s pretty focused, and despite being peppy and having a smirk on her face 90% of the time, she doesn’t make comments or lets herself get distracted during missions until her part is done and she knows that she can spare the time for it. even in ep2 (the red paladin), when she was making quirky comments towards the leader of that planet, she made sure to incapacitate him and take his communicative device before allowing herself to be snarky. you can also see that when lotor lures team voltron to thacorix(??? if that’s how you spell it), where she only speaks up to ask questions, and during the entirety of ep6 (tailing a comet), where i can’t recall her saying absolutely anything throughout that entire episode.

it just seems interesting, because throughout the show, zethrid makes the most offhand comments during fights or missions. you’d think that she’d be silent while ezor is talkative, because of how they were initially introduced, but it’s the other way around.

i wonder if we could also draw certain parallels on ezor and keith, because keith is so driven. when keith has a goal in place, he’s extremely determined to do the most he can to reach it. i think you could say the same for ezor, but while keith decides on his own missions and makes his own choices on priorities and his reasoning, ezor follows along with lotor’s plans and acxa’s orders, probably so she won’t let the team down. ezor isn’t afraid to ask questions, but i think it’s also telling in how faithful she is towards lotor + the others, and how she isn’t just peppy or snarky or quirky, but also focused on tasks and what she believes in.

#lotor's genergals #ezor #idk it just really popped up for me when i was skipping through eps #she just doesnt let herself get distracted until she's done her part #i hope she isnt just bottled down to the space ty lee though #because they do have similarities #but ezor isnt sweet or necessarily bubbly #she's snarky and even fierce when fighting #she's extremely loyal and i dont think she has problems that are as severe as ty lee when it comes to identity #i also dont think she'd be afraid to question something if it seems iffy or doesnt make sense to her #that isnt to say that she doesnt have flaws #bc i think she probably puts more faith into lotor & the other generals rather than her own judgments #and while being peppy i wouldnt at all be surprised if she's struggling with things like where she came from #and how she became one of lotor's generals in the first place #even if it hasnt been revealed yet #idk #i just hope this fandom doesnt treat the generals like they do the paladins #¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #resilientspeaker
