K-ANGEL RENTRY INSPO! this is so cute wahehehehhe so i wanted to share it with everyone ... tapping on 1 and 2 will take you to other pages, tapping on the angel button will take you back to the first page, and tapping on the graphic and heart dividers will take you to the credits for those. the rentry is linked on the words "quit" and "magical." the rentry was made in light mode and is meant to be used in light mode.

i just could not resist the urge to yap about this HAUDHSUDJSHJD i initially made this rentry to like, practice or train myself i suppose? because i want to learn to make lots and lots of rentry layouts (bc I've seen so many good graphics, and made many good graphics myself wahahha, that i just want to make rentrys with them! and i want to post rentry templates someday) so yeah this was my practice! it turned out SO FUCKING GOOD and I'm really proud of it! i love the layout, i love what i did with the buttons (this is also my first time putting links in images!) i love the COLORS!

with this rentry i learned how to recolor pixels. since i only use ibispaint for everything i can't recolor gif pixels yet, but that's okay with me! here are the pixels i recolored.

i also recolored and slightly edited these dividers, although they were not made by me! (the credits can be found through tapping them in the rentry)

What do you guys think about this community ? I remember when Rentry started becoming really popular and people started wanting more assets to personalised their accounts, but in turn requests started slowing down for things like icons, moodboards and layouts all the same. The community is diverse, but you have to dig deep to find sources outside anime and Project Sekai (which I think is an anime as well as a game, but I haven’t really gotten into it so sorry if I’ve gotten that wrong.) or any music themed anime games.

Idk, it’s fascinating seeing the differences in what happens over the years. Most of my fave editors have gone and moved to other things. More editor blogs now are full of Rentrys. Honestly, I think my prime has come and gone, but I still love editing and making things for people because I just find it fun. I love getting requests and making things people will use. That’s why I started in the first place, I wanted to see my work being used. I don’t think I’ve seen a “-core” request in a hot minute lmao.

This isn’t a post to shade the new editing style, because you can tell I’ve adapted to it and I generally really love the creative way people have made graphics (they are so cool !) but it’s more of a retrospective. I’m not gonna be doing this forever, but I still love this little space, no matter the ducking controversies surrounding sources & people (RIP that part of the community is a shit show lmao.)

red: i like both gifs and stills! the problem with gifs is that i find them super fun, but i have some trouble cropping gifs or using them as icons so i usually just leave them as gifsets <33 especially combining gifs with other assets.... euuughh </3

orange: if the source offers its own transparent, like genshin stickers and proseka card trims, then i use those but if i need other transparents for whatever reason, then i make them myself!! i remember in last year's valentine's event i made a kazuscara header where i had to make an official art transparent but also redraw a lot of it by hand ^^; even now, when i make proseka reply icons out of 4komas, i transparent and redraw everything myself! it's difficult but rewarding ^^

green: oooh, pet peeves... i can't stand it when requesters don't read my rentry and request blacklisted items or things i don't offer </3 or when someone requests something difficult like a layout and doesn't use it </33 i don't mind people requesting icons they won't use, since they can be fun to look at, but blog setups and layouts are more time consuming so i wish people would use them more :(

white: i first got into editing two and a half years ago when one of my friends invited me to join a group editing blog! after that i hopped around many group editing blogs for around a year before making my own ^^ at first i was worried that i'd lose motivation and forget about it within a few months, but it turns out i'm better at working on my own than with others </3 so i've stuck around and intend on keeping this blog up for a while!

I'm so sorry to hear that, and like the last ask I'm sorry for however late this may be! I'm looking through your edits now and right away I'm blown away by your placement and layout of pngs and assets! I love how eye catching your rentry graphics are, since I personally don't find them easy to make at all. Your coloring is sooo pretty, some examples I have here is this moodboard, wonderful contrast between the colors and your custom edit is great! The desaturated colors on these icons and the warm tones look so pretty! I hope you find your muse, or found it again already because your edits are wonderful! Good luck!
