Some fun stuff I saw in that first scene in the practice room

So when Karen is the first one in, she's drawn to the center of the stage

Mahiru only enters the stage after Karen invites her

But despite Karen taking the lead, Mahiru is the one who teaches and is more flexible, showing Mahiru's talents that she's just not aware of yet

The first to enter are Junna and Claudine, the hardest workers who are always first except for the student on day duty

Nana is here too, but we never actually see Nana enter. She just slips in undetected and is already in the middle of the conversation, and isn't that just a microcosm of how she is in the rest of the show

We also see Futaba, and how she's resigned to Kaoruko's selfishness, but will absolutely call out anyone else

Also an underrated thing that is hard to show in screencaps is that when Maya enters, the music and the background chatter all come to a close because she is that big of a deal.

(Also we never saw her enter, and just like Nana we only see their effect on the others HMMMMMM)

Although we do get to see Claudine go from playfully teasing to being all business and focusing on Maya once she's entered the room

We also see Kaoruko drop her sleepy persona and look determined. And a cute little moment is that she raises her arm up for Futaba to pull her up and Futaba doesn't even need to look to know what to do. She knows Kaoruko's laziness is just an act.
