I SAW DREAM 😭

y’all :( just wanted to share here how the concert went for me, i truly can’t believe i got to see my ult group in concert, i remember being so so excited for the first tds2 concert that was going to be broadcasted on live and i was so so mesmerized by it, i never thought i’d get the chance to see that with my own eyes.

Seeing them so up close, singing my favorite songs and just seeing in person the people that have been such an emotional support for me this past years was the most surreal experience.

the moment hae & ren came near my zone… i almost fainted, i was so sad back in january that i didn’t got to se haechan on the link, but i knew that the time would come for me to be able to see him, AND THEN THAT HAPPENED, also seeing Ren… MY ULT, this whole blog is for him and, it was just too much :( i love dream so bad they’re a warm hug to my heart :( ♡

oooo so this is a very interesting question and like tbh i didn’t really develop it on purpose. art has always been a PURE hobby for me, and by pure, i mean i refused to really put Extreme effort into learning it as a “craft.” figure drawing bores me, i don’t want to sit down and spend Hours trying to learn anatomy and shit etc etc. much of my style has been really influenced by

things and art styles that i like

the need to doodle possessing me at literally all times.

doodling was my adhd “go to” thing bc my brain needs to focus on something else while i do stuff. i used to read a lot in class as a kiddo but then teachers complained to my mom that i was being “distracting” somehow (??? still don’t get this) so i started doodling instead so it looked like i was still working LMAO.

a lot of my artstyle is definitely influenced by anime and manga like i’m a weeb through and through or whatever. but usually if i see something i like or i learn new ways to draw something after watching or seeing something else i’ll incorporate it into my belief system.

i think an easy example to showcase ALLA this is kind of this thing i’ve been doing since 2021 where i’ve redrawn the same character a few times:

so like, as you kinda see it’s getting more and more detailed. like more practice, more doodling, but it’s actually super hard for me to personally tell when my artstyle is changing? so that’s why doing this redraw the past few years has actually been super illuminating bc i can actually SEE how my style has gotten different. cuz tbh i don’t feel like i’m doing anything different but like i must be for these to all come out SO differently lol

i hope that makes sense?? i don’t really think about art too deeply i usually pick up my ipad and go “i’m gonna get silly :3” fjfjfjfn

"You better not be lying! If I find out any of you blabbed to anyone else, I'll show your chaperone this!" Carmine shouts, and the sound of a piece of paper flapping in the wind is heard.

You can hear Akechi's voice gasp, before mumbling, "I knew making that calling card would bite me in the ass somehow..."

"Should've asked me to get you a newspaper," Kotone chimes in.]

So now I'm being blackmailed once again with that calling card that's in my handwriting because I made it on impulse and didn't feel like cutting out a newspaper

First pack is the reference to afk grian and switching of players, he's talked about wanting to bring that up so this is very fitting.

Second pack very obviously Jimmy but fucking hell I regret us telling him about the Canary curse like the day after the recording session pffff

Third pack! Actually the one I'm unsure about atm? Maybe the ones that are out this season but jumped in or something about the broken alliances.

And last one is basically something I feel like a watcher would instruct Martyn like he needs to be careful and has been snooping too far or they don't want him to win and he will loose what makes him a listener if he does!

Last more far fetched addition:

The last line reminded me of ren? Idk why but the way its typed and how it feels like Martyn is being addressed with "sound" similar to how ren addressed him with "hand" just makes that line sound like rens saying it in my head. It's also the mix of deaf being intended to also sound like death. Meaning it could be that a listener dies once he has no one he can listen to or just in general looses their purpose.

Soooo Layla's not my only Tav now. This is Ren. She's a human Ranger, she likes rocking people's shit when the circumstances call for it and she likes befriending what animals she can (save for yknow the giant spiders or the fucking gnolls that try to kill her. But that's semantics).

She grew up in the woods. She has a very lengthy backstory connecting back to my undying love for Neverwinter and specifically the Neverwinter Nights games. For fucks sake, Ren is short for Galavren -- like the knight from the original Neverwinter Nine.

She is tiny but fierce. I love her. I will blab about her backstory at some point like I did Layla's. But I love my girls very much. At some point there may be a 3rd tav. But as of right now, hubs and I have it that Layla and Ren and the rest of the companions are traveling with his Tavs, Nemo and Asmund, in like. Just our Canon and writing and jokes. We somehow ended up with a ranger and a sorcerer each btw.

Not gonna lie, I found Ren a little bit annoying? Something about the unrelenting cheer kinda grated on me at first (he is the personification of :D), but he grew on me very quickly

Everyone always talks about the beheading scene, but I think my favorite has to be before he even went yellow, when Scar was initially confronting him about the enchanter. The tension. . . the drama. . . especially having watched Grian’s episode first, knowing that hat he’s about to walk into and just holding your breath waiting for the inevitable. . . immaculate vibes

Julieta: Bi Disaster (summer camp au)

Julieta and Milo were cooking breakfast for the campers one morning when Milo noticed Julieta seemed a bit distracted. He followed her gaze to see where she was looking and smirked when he realized just who she was looking at.

“You’re staring at Ren again,” he teased lightly. 

“—! I am not! Just cook your eggs, Milo. Or they’ll turn out runny - again.”

“Wh— hey, my eggs are perfectly fine! Maybe if someone wasn’t watching girls all morning, they’d see that.”

“Shh…” Julieta kept her face down, trying to hide she was blushing as she concentrated on her eggs.

They cooked in silence a few moments before Milo spoke up again. “So… is ‘senorita perfecta’ a little bit gay?” He teased. 

“I’m not perfect,” she rolled her eyes at the nickname. 

“Oh I know; if you were, your cooking would be better.” 

Julieta snapped her head up, debating whether to elbow him or make a snide comment in return. 

“Hey, you didn’t answer my question.” 

Julieta blushed again. “I-I’m not gay. I definitely like guys…”

“But…?”

Julieta sighed, preparing herself mentally to admit this aloud. “But… turns out, I like girls, too.”

Milo smiled and clapped Julieta on the back congratulatory like.

As they started getting the food ready to serve to the campers, Milo continued to nudge Julieta about this new discovery. “So… Ren, huh? I thought you were crushing on Elena.”

“I think Elena just awoke something inside me… Wait, how do you know about that?” She paused a moment before grumbling under her breath. “Pepa…” That was told in confidence; of course she blabbed. 

“Hey,” came a husky voice that set a small fire to Julieta’s loins. 

Work, brain. Say something back! Don’t just stand there! Julieta’s brain was racing a mile a minute while she stared dumbfounded at her fellow counselor. Her fellow attractive counselor. She finally spoke up, barely managing a “Sup?” Sup? Are you for real right now? What is wrong with you?

Ren grinned and sort of gave her a head nod. “The campers are on their way.” 

There she was again, frozen to the spot, unable to come up with a normal response. “Dope.” The word tumbled out of her mouth before she could stop it. She just knew her cheeks were completely flushed, and her heart felt like it was going to beat out of her chest. 

Once Ren turned away to go help usher the young campers in to line up for breakfast, Milo leaned over and said to Julieta with a mocking snicker, “Dope”. 

Julieta hid her face in her hand. “Ay, Dios mío… Just kill me…” she groaned, embarrassed.
