He's actually an OC I have for The Magnus Archives! An Avatar of The End. He loves to play games a lot and owns an otherworldly casino. He was born around the 1900s and lives in New Orleans! He's a very friendly and laid-back person, sometimes a bit too friendly--which leads him into trouble! He loves studying anatomy and making projects out of dead things :D He also has a knack for magic tricks, his sleight of hand helping him a ton when he lived in the streets! His mother had a mortuary business and he took over for her when she disappeared. However, he gambled his family fortune away and he had to live in the streets for a while. After a deadly confrontation with a band of street thugs, he died in a car crash...and then woke up. Yeah, he had to admit that was weird. Dead people aren't supposed to wake up, right? He stepped out of his shambled car and spotted a casino in the distance. His surroundings seemed very...surreal and something weird was definitely going on. He decided to walk down the road and enter the Casino. There, he met the owner--Yama. They talked for a while, and Yama revealed that he wanted to give Aaron a second chance. They were to play a game of poker? Dice? He'll choose. If Yama won, Aaron's soul is forfeited. He'll die just as the others. But if Aaron won, he'd become the new owner of the casino!

Aaron was like, "What the heck, why not." He played Death's game, cheated, and won. The two of them shook hands, and Yama disintegrated before Aaron's eyes. Aaron blacked out too, and the next time he awoke he was wearing a suit and was the owner of a dusty old Casino!

He is very silly and a lil shxt, managing to bamboozle Death.

Just imagining Frank tryna study a butterfly and in the corner of his eye he just sees Wally under a tree staring at him with a laser focus. Wally's eyes are no longer half-lidded, they r blown full open and Frank can't help but feel a bit confused, dread creeping up his spine. Without breaking eye contact, Wally scribbles something on paper before standing up and walking over to Frank. Frank breaks into a cold sweat--his breathing going faster and his body going full fight or flight mode--before Wally rips out a page and hands it to Frank, asking him if he likes it. Wally's eyes droop once more, and Frank could feel himself breathe again. He looks down to see an impressive portrait of him, and he gives Wally an uneasy smile, saying it was wonderful. Wally smiles back.

Epic is out here giving the most heartbreaking songs for when Odysseus' crewmates die under the hands of Polyphemus. This musical made me care about these side characters. And in the og mythos, I know Odysseus told his name to the Cyclops out of hubris...but in the musical it's such an emotional and powerful moment. Odysseus just lost the lives of his crew, he lost his best friend, and when he blinded the Cyclops he didn't choose to finish him off. Instead, he chose mercy and made sure Polyphemus remembered what he did. To remember who they are, that if Polyphemus ever dares to hurt another human being, he must remember Odysseus, the King of Ithaca, the one who defeated and blinded him. He wanted this moment to serve as a cautionary reminder to Polyphemus. Declaring his own name also served as an emotional catharsis for Odysseus. One where he let out all his pain, grief, and sorrow for the atrocities he's done and on the atrocities that has befallen on his comrades. He spared the Cyclops but did not want the monster to forget this moment in history. The memories of the fallen will live on, and Odysseus will make sure the cyclops knows damn well who he was.

I have a theory on why Welcome Home, the show, was canceled. Wally already gained sentience during the show's run, and when he realized he was just a puppet, that his entire life was a lie and was put on display for an invisible audience he couldn't see, it fcked him up. Something something Sun Wukong started out being seen as dangerous, wild, and uncontrollable. Many people used to see him as a villain during his havoc in heaven, but in the end, he is ultimately deemed as a heroic figure, The Buddha Victorious in Strife. Erlang Shen already being revered as being a hero, the Illustrous Sage, by the masses. But in the end, he is deemed the villain for not showing mercy to his family in Lotus Lantern.
