i stumbled upon "Glowing in the Dark" by Living Caliber, and went "yup, blacklight Loligator time" because i'd played around recoloring my sketches not too long ago in these blacklight colors based on eth plushies, because i love neon dayglo nightmares. (maybe i'll do a standrad colored version, because i'm very happy with the pose work...)

so i'm imagining there's a blacklight dance/party event at the Pizza Plex, the animatronics get some redecaling for it (or maybe their paint jobs naturally react to blacklight like this intentionally) and, maybe only after hours, they have fun with it.

From a story stand Point I understand, I even understand where everybody is coming from being upset and the old tired queer tropes. Yes! He deserved so much better. I think the in spirit part of Izzy's speech is really important meta wise it's like Con/Izzy is saying even though I am/will redecated the spirit and love of my character will love on regardless. So even as beloved as Izzy Hands will forever be he's spirit will live on weather through fan art etc. It makes what happened or didn't hurt less. Idk excuse my autism ladies/gentlemen/non binary folk. It can be difficult for me to put things into words properly, alot of the fandom/our little crew can put things into words better than I ever could(this the exact reason why I never interact/comment much on things as much exspecially since everybody says enough what needs to be said . In unrelatable note I can relate to Aziraphale can be autistic coded with his amblings and overexplains things to Crowley sometimes.

anyways this song makes me think of tommy / how he views his place in the world. he’s aware that he’s not super functional on his own --- he knows he needs help. it’s something he beats himself up about a lot & tries to be pretty blunt about when dealing with new people. the worst part is he doesn’t even nescessarily know what about himself he needs to change to be healthy. he’s been right about so many things that it’s hard to sort through the percieved truth & the actual truth & often reality slips through his fingers. he hates feeling dependent & yet he knows he is. he isolates himself constantly but when he finds a person, his person, he becomes reliant upon them until he thinks they’re tired of him & then he redeces back into his bubble waiting for the next round of social exauhstion. plus he feels like it gets worse as he gets older where when he was a kid he thought it would get better. he always kind of thought it would go away & then it never did, leaving his perception of himself to stagnate & sour.  i want to do a deeper breakdown of the song + how it applies to tommy but honestly i feel like a lot of old cryw*nk applies
