hey did you guys knowed that i um. headcanon them as relatives. all of them. (Cousins btw!! and they all have the tooth gap bc it runs in the family.) some headcanons n design notes below:

Sads is Atticus's cousin on the paternal side (and prester's kid bc its the funniest outcome) the weird lines on the foot is basically just me giving him my surgery scars in the form of dents. (and his design is based on that fake chup advert poster thing)

Winston's his cousin on the maternal side (i gave him fun colors bc i think he deserves neons and stuff. also he lost his foot owie ow

atticus is a big wig who got a loan shark frame on accident, and it was kinda painful to try and fit it all in there. he's also got those cool feet bc idc i like that it goes hard. and see thru plasticine legs bc i thought it'd be cool to give cogs see thru parts.

Sads also has that its on his torso and upper thighs kinda like how a lot of people drew sans with a "body" and stuff. winny used to have it but like. all bones. so sad.

oh. btw atticus's pupils being different sizes is healthy, he's got an anisocoria which is a medical condition where his pupils are different sizes, and he's got mild dry eyes (its caused by a mix of the head injury from BTL and also medication -- Fluxotine and Risperidone)

Unfortunately, Tumblr polls only allow me to fit 10 contestants! The 10 contestants were chosen based on how low the difference was between them & their winning opponent. Those 5 were the least close in their respective poll, so they are unlikely to really make a difference if they returned in the poll….that's how I see it anyways!

Specifically with the Gluttonous Sin of Beelzebub being my favorite Sin of the group (not necessarily in Helluva Boss, but just in general), I wanted to make a ranking list of my favorite Queen Bee redesigns and their creators for really no other reason than I just feel like it. Now, this is all personal opinions and should not be taken to heart by any means, it's just for fun:

#1. "Beelzebub & Bibi" by @gravcore

♡ In terms of an actual redesign of the original, I love how this artist made "Bibi" because, for one thing, they made sense of the originals hair by giving her a ponytail since way too many characters have a mohawk style (Loona included); two, I cannot explain just how much I adore the clothes they gave her. The top is actually insect based and gorgeous, and not some recolor version of Loona's outfit; and third, they made canon Bee her own character rather than a royal because nothing about the OG read "Ancient Sin" to anybody.

♡ Now, in terms of the actual Beelzebub, here, she's legitimately stunning. Rather than a redesign, I can tell this was the original long before the Queen Bee episode came out, and I love how it reads both "70's party girl" and "regal ruler" all in one. That, and the actual bug design aspect and the color scheme. Above all else, I love how they incorporated the lava stomach in her design, too.

#2. "Beelzebub" by @s3tok41b4

♡ This design can best be described as a literal re-imagine of the canon Beelzebub as it shares almost all her similarities with the actual bug aspect to it that it desperately needed. It's legitimately simplistic but still appealing to the eye, futher showing us that Viv was perfectly capable of making something so simple, but actively chose to make it more confusing than it had to be.

#3. "Beelzebub" by @ruinxl0ve

♡ Similar to the first two, this shares both a regal and party girl bug aesthetic with the added bonus of actually being beautifully emotive despite not even having a mouth. I feel this beautifully differentiates the design from the original while also making it recognizable and I feel that it kinda feeds into the original concept that Queen Bee could literally "feel the vibe", hinting to her being an empath in some manner.

#4. "The Three Bees" by @onehelluvatime

♡ Long story short, these are three individual versions of the Queen Bee and her new placing within the Hellaverse outside of the canon one. For more in-depth explanation of these interpretations, it's best to check the blog yourself. Truly, I love these designs not only because of the visual redesigns themselves, but also the well-crafted and creative explanations and backgrounds regarding these characters. I especially like the idea that the hellhounds within society are half-undead with skull-like appendages and facial aspects.

#5. "Spontaneous Beelzebub" by @redd-byrd

♡ I know it's essentially the same as the canon design, but with the small tweaks that were made to this one (the giant "Bee Butt", the added black lines, the actual bug-like wings, the blue-thin eyes), all of them give a more clear indication (at least to me) that this Bee is more higher up than her fellow hellhounds, meaning she looks a lot more like a hybrid thus making her more grand. It's nice how they added these small details for improvement while still essentially leaving the design like its original.

N: Well—we actually met at Abby’s school! I’m the new music teacher this year, but my class doesn’t start until 2:30, so I work at Sparky’s in the morning just to get some extra cash.

M: He told me how much he loves having Abby in class, and I just… ugh, I’m not good with words. I just thought he was cute, I guess?

N: You guess.

M: Er… I know. Anyways, if Abby could trust him, so could I, and… it grew from there. We ate breakfast at Sparky’s a week later, and he put his number on the back of the receipt. I called him later, and we talked until I fell asleep.

N: It’s kinda cute when you snore.

M: That’s creepy.

Hi ho what's the dealio! We're back again....with another tag game? I'm outrageous XD! Kidding kidding! But seriously, I'm bored and have a lot to do but no spoons to do them...so I'm doing a tag game instead! Woop woop! And this time, it's a question for writers...characters edition!

🌹 Who is your favorite character? And why?

Trucy! I love Trucy, she is my darling baby. I love her because not only is she silly and chaotic and optimistic, but she's also emotionally complex and intelligent. In my honest opinion, she's the perfect assistant/co counsel for the WAA. Don't get me wrong, I love Ema and Maya! But they really perfected it when they made Trucy.

🌹 What characters do you wish you wrote more?

Honestly? A lot! But the two I'll be choosing are Maggey Byrde and Adrian Andrews. Idk why I don't write them much, I do like them enough and they're friends with the characters. I've only written Adrian in one fic and Maggey...never? Which is a shame! Cause these characters rock!

🌹 Which characters do you think you write well?

None. I'm bad at writing all of them

Ahem, I mean. Maya and Franziska, definitely. I think I've written these two so many times that I subconsciously get them, and excuse me if that sounds like bragging XD.

🌹 Which characters do you think you could improve on writing?

Honestly? Klavier. I do like how I write him, but I feel that I write him...too sane? If that makes any sense? I definitely don't write the more absurd parts of his character too much. And I also don't leverage his popularity/rockstar status enough. Idk, XD.

🌹 What character did you at first hate/dislike, but then grew to like/love?

Franziska. I thought she was kinda mean at first. But then I wrote her some more, fleshed her out and got to know her more as a person...and I grew to love her. Yours Truly, Franziska von Karma did accelerate how much I loved her. It was so fun getting into her psyche in that fic, and dear god did it make me love her more XD.

🌹 Which character did you immediately like/love the moment you saw them?

We all know who this is. Trucy, of course! I knew the moment I saw that little ray of sunshine that I'd love her, and I have! She is so amazing and cute and smart and funny and AAA! I just love her so much! Idk what it is about her, I just adore Trucy.

🌹 Which character voice do you have the most fun writing?

Franziska and Maya's. (These two really come in a package, don't they? XD). I like writing Franziska's dialogue cause I like her blunt and formal way of speaking, that's always fun! And I like writing Maya's dialogue cause it's casual and friendly, but never takes away from seriousness if she needs to be serious. If that makes sense XD.

🌹 What character voice do you have the least fun writing?

Any of the AA characters with obnoxiously "smart" or "deep" vocabularies. So Wesley Stickler, Richard Wellington, and Redd White. I swear, I hated writing White's dialogue in Turnabout Camaraderie, and I know I'll hate writing Wellington and Stickler's dialogue.

🌹 Which character do you feel like you’re the most similar to?

Hmmm. None? XD. But if I had to pick, I'd pick Maya. Maya I feel matches my excitable energy, though I don't usually steal from crime scenes XD or get accused of murder. If I ever get a spiky haired lawyer friend then I'll let y'all know!

🌹 Which character do you feel like you’re the least similar to?

Apollo. Apollo is detail oriented and perceptive and I am the...opposite of that lol. He's also very snarky, and while I love that for him, I feel I'm too excitable to be snarky XD.

Also note that this post concerns only titles with an English release, so GK2 dates will not be present.  All information is taken from the Ace Attorney Wiki’s timeline. I will also assume DGS takes place around 1900 and will use that year as a benchmark.

~1900 (122 year anniversary):

???: Odie Asman is tried in court for the crime of running a crime syndicate, but is found not guilty by a corrupt jury, leaving him free to destroy the hopes and dreams of some poor scientist. Sept. 4th: Susato Mikotoba departs Japan to return to London... Sept. 11th: ...and is shortly thereafter joined by her father Yuujin, and the Japanese Judge Seishiro Jigoku.

2012 (10 year anniversary):

Sept. 8th: The owner of the best AA name ever, Deid Mann, is murdered by Mack Rell, who had apparently received orders to do so from the Yatagarasu. Sept. 10th: Mack Rell’s trial happens. Calisto Yew murders both Rell and Byrne Faraday, proving that no one can ever have a normal trial for the 50th time.

2016 (6 year anniversary):

Sept. 5th: Mia Fey is murdered by Redd White, which sadly cancels the recently planned burger dinner. Sept. 7th: Maya Fey’s trial for the murder of her sister. The blame is eventually moved onto Phoenix Wright, heralding his future of shitty luck. Sept. 9th: Phoenix’s subsequent trial.

2017 (5 year anniversary):

Sept. 6th: Dustin Prince is murdered by Richard Wellington, the man who can’t tell the difference between a fancy baseball mitt and a bunch of bananas. Sept. 8th: Subsequent trial of Maggey Byrde for the murder of Dustin Prince.

2018 (4 year anniversary):

???: Diego Armando Godot wakes from his coma and rejoins the Prosecutor’s Office. ???: Viola Cadaverini’s car accident occurs. Sept.* 12th: Kane Bullard is murdered by The Penguin Luke Atmey Sept.* 13th: The trial of Ron DeLite for stealing the Sacred Urn. The blame is later rightfully passed onto Atmey. Sept.* 14th: Luke Atmey’s trail for the theft of the Sacred Urn. Ron DeLite’s (and eventually Luke Atmey’s) trail for the murder of Kane Bullard.

*Note*: This month is October in the western release, whilst it is September in the original Japanese release, for whatever goddamn reason.

2028 (6 years until):

Sept. 20th: Dumbass Dumas Gloomsbury is murdered by Pierce Nichody. Larry happens. Sept. 22nd/23rd: The subsequent trial of Sorin Sprocket for the murder of Gloomsbury. Sept. 23rd: The marriage of Sorin Sprocket and Ellen Wyatt occurs.
