Interest Check!

Earlier this week, around the beginning of the year, I eluded to the idea of running a Secret Santa, only themed around Valentine's Day, rather then Christmas. A Secret Valentine's, if you will. Now comes the important question that I must answer before I launch this event: is it worth it? So that's where you guys come in!

This post contains a poll that basically will help me see if there's enough interest within the community for this kind of event. I ask for reblogs so lots of people can see it and answer as well, so I can gauge whether or not I should go forward with the next step. So with that being said...

Keep in mind that voting on this poll doesn't necessarily mean you have to sign up for the event. Also keep in mind that if this event does go forward, this will be my first time hosting an event like this, so I might make some mistakes and might ask for some help as well!

Oh dear, Matpat has discovered Welcome Home. This could lead to a few things:

1. The obvious, Matpat will later make theory on it.

2. Alot of people will be joining the fandom, considering matpats popularity(unfortunately this will also mean that a few discourse will happen)

3. More fan works including...nsfw..

Dear newcomers, pls respect Clown(partycoffin(creator)'s boundaries aswell as being civil to one another(we dont want to stress out, Clown, even more now do we?) And note that this project isnt finish, Clown, also doesn't consider this as an ARG, more of a personal horror art project. Clown, has stated that the project isn't connected to any real world events. Do not cause havoc and do not harrass/bully people(especially sending death threats to them), a friendly reminder is enough.

Clown is not comfortable/doesn't like:

People selling merch of his characters withought his permission.

People impersonating them(If you find an impersonator, comment that they aren't the real Clown, before reporting them).

People reposting old concept art that isn't canon anymore(anything prior to january 2021 is not canon)

People making NSFW/R34 of their characters, if you want to draw NSFW/R34, then pls dont post it on the main tag and use the tag playfellowxxx instead(If you see anyone accidentally using the main tag, pls kindly remind them to use the other tag instead DO NOT HARASS!!!).

I also do not tolerate harrassing Matpat because of this, he most likely did not know about the discourse(tho I wished he did his research first), it's better to kindly tell him about it, and maybe also tell him that he shouldn't make any theory videos yet, not until the project is complete(considering that it's only at 5% completion).

According to small snippets of old scripts and pages from old children's books, Taylor Sweetie was a ice cream truck driver who, while not actually living in the neighborhood, would often visit the residents of Home, giving ice cream to all the neighbors free of charge. 

She seems to have the closest relationship to Howdy, the two often trading recipe cards. However Sweetie is friendly with all of the neighbors, so they are as happy to see her as she is them!

So much so that the neighbors often called her ‘Sweetie’ rather than her name ‘Taylor.’ Because to them, she’s the sweetest!

As noted from some blueprints that are still in the middle of being recreated, it seems like Sweetie used a variety of wacky gadgets and tools in order to make ‘the perfect ice cream’ for each of the residents of Home. 

Sweetie would specially craft each frosty treat to the neighbors tastes and even feelings. In some notes it was listed that Sweetie would twirl in a ballerina-like fashion while making her ice cream, and always finished each creation with a special catchphrase.

“With a sprinkle of happiness and a cherry on top, this sweet treat’s sure to make you smile!” 

In small recovered pieces of scripts it seems Sweetie also made more than just ice cream, bringing special hot chocolate drinks in winter episodes. It seems all of her food creations were sweet in nature. 

Old scripts reveal that Sweetie did in fact ‘not’ drive her ice cream truck, but that someone she called ‘Mr. Frosty' would instead be driving it. It is unclear if she means the truck itself can drive on its own or if there is another worker driving the truck, as the windows of the truck are not see through, so  its unknown if anyone is sitting in the front seat.

Many of her segments had her appear to give advice to troubled characters, and while her advice would sound random they seemed to spark resolve in many of the characters who were dealing with the problem of the episode. 

It seems like she was a popular enough side character that she was featured in many children's books, had her own recipes in a ‘Welcome Home’ themed cookbook, and had a series of real life ice cream bars labeled “Welcome Home: Sweetie’s Sweet Bars”, featuring the likeness of several characters from the series.

Emergency Commissions

I normally don’t beg using sob stories but I also have literally never been this low on money before. I’m a queer disabled person who lost my job at an ableist company and am still trying to find another one. I’m trying to get through college so I can escape my abusive family. Until then, commissions are largely all I have to keep going.

I have college registration fees coming up, if anyone wanted to help me out I would appreciate it so, so much! This is my commission info. Poll: Help me pick my next TWST longfic! [FINISHED]

Hello everyone!

As most of you may know, I am quite the avid longfic writer. However, university's been slowing me down a lot, so I've been unable to write as quickly as before. So why not poll some of my fic ideas and let you all decide?

I'll include some brief, rambling summaries of the options below the cut! The poll will run for seven days, and the winner will be the longfic I focus on next! (That isn't to say I won't write other things since inspiration is fickle and some of these are semi-completed, but for the most case, my priority will be whatever wins!)

[Summaries under the cut!]

i. Bad Things Happen Bingo: Locked in a Freezer Epel-focused! I originally started working on this in April but shelved it because I was more focused on writing Diasomnia. That and I also did not look forward to writing Rook... Still, the benefit of this option is that It's already 2/3 finished, with the first two chapters done, so it would be done a lot faster. I'd feel pretty keen on finishing it sooner if there was interest expressed.

ii. Bad Things Happen Bingo: Barely Conscious Silver-focused! A bad end AU of the Fairy Gala remix event... and that's about all I can say about it. Compared to the other options, it wouldn't be as long, so I could see it being done faster. It would not have a definitive conclusion, being a bad end of an event, but if you like Silver suffering, this is the one for you!

iii. Bad Things Happen Bingo: On the Run Sebek-focused, along with the first years! I originally wanted to write this for Halloween this year, but quickly shelved that idea due to realising how much Uni sapped my energy. This is one of the two options here that would be rated Mature, along with warnings of Major Character Death. It was meant to be a Halloween fic, after all.

iv. Bad Things Happen Bingo: This Is For Your Own Good Silver and Lilia-focused. What can I say about this AU without revealing too much...? This is the other option that would be rated Mature. It gets truly fucked up and dark in the latter half, and bad things truly does happen. It would also be one of the longest fics in the BTHB series, as I'm envisioning two very long chapters. All the same, this is arguably the idea I'm most excited to write. So if that means anything to you (trust in my tastes, perhaps?) you might want to consider voting for this!

v. Bad Things Happen Bingo: Hope Is Scary Silver-focused, though Lilia comes in later. This is arguably the least developed of all the ideas here, however it was a really good idea that Olive thought up and gave me permission to write. A lot of Silver suffering in this one! And being alone. The prompt is literally about losing all hope and not wanting to hope again in case it gets dashed.

vi. Reverse Containment Breach AU: Starchild Lilia and Silver-focused. This is based on Olive's Reverse Containment Breach AU, of which I'd previously written a ficlet for here with Malleus and Sebek. Think something SCP-esque with an organisation studying strange subjects. Head Researcher Lilia Vanrouge stumbles upon a boy who fell from space one night, and that's when everything slowly goes off the rails. I actually finished about 1/3 of this? So it's partially started.

vii. PMMM AU: Lilia Longfic Lilia and Silver-focused. What it says on the tin. Mica and I's PMMM AU, which isn't 1:1 with canon but Lilia takes the role of Homura, and Silver as Madoka. Time loops and general suffering and angst. If you know how Madoka plays out, you know how this one's going to go.

Book Done!

My handmade book for my fanfic series "I see you, I hear you" is now done!

Yea the title writing on the front isn't centered because I'm bad at judging how much space I need (same for the spine haha)

But I still like it! :D

Also you may notice that the text on the pages doesn't look centered either- it's because I cut the right edges of the pages so they're all the same length, and I messed up the first time, so I had to cut off even more :') But the results are great cus the pages are now all the same length like a real book and you can see and feel that! :D

Overall I am very pleased with it. It's not perfect, but it's made with a lot of love :3 (there's several more mistakes but you don't see those so I won't need to mention them haha)

The art I used was commissioned by me & drawn by @rune-ko 💜
