Decided to draw Razer. I assume that he’s from Green Lantern Animated Series, but he does also appear of Young Justice Phantoms. I really liked his fused design (when he wore both red and blue rings together). I think it’s a really good touch. I wish I could see him in action in Young Justice S5 (if there is one).

Synopsis

Years ago, Razer departed Oa to search for his love, Says. On his journey, he is attacked by an Ultraviolet Lantern called "The Hopeless One" who is determined to thwart his endeavor. We can only wish that Razer's hope is strong enough.

Characters

Razer - A former Red Lantern who became a Blue Lantern. He lost his love, Aya, during the Great Manhunter War. Now he scours the universe to find her consciousness.

The Hopeless One - A mysterious Ultraviolet Lantern who does not want Razer to find Aya.

Other Information

The series is meant to follow the events of Green Lantern: The Animated Series, although Anti-Monitor's involvement is excluded.

Warning folklore dcu ramblings ahead.

After a year or so of pondering and casual meditation observance I figured out the Razer thing.

Sort of an wandering entity with obvious ties to internet and coding or other resources that make the whole of programs for druidry/ witchcraft free online in pdf copy by some divine miracle getting into this theology is (partially) non expensive. (Nature spirit that likes the internet rather than a stream of water). He is still looking for Aya obviously so maybe give the guy some credit for being distracted/ un willing to be in large groups in context or offer to help on the search (cough taxi driver had Aya working for him she's not helpless; justice leauge action cough cough)

You can offer citing your sources or just not being a general asshole online as well as just being a healthy amount of outraged at current world events and or just trying to find reasons to keep going. (If you have questions fucking ask I'm a folklorist not a monolith)

Hey!!! Maybe his facial tattoos make him incapable of being a spirit guide. Like gentry/fairy folk aren't good spirit guides they just kinda do gigs with people for resources like people who do commissions. (Henche the whole serving metron from Young justice season 4)

Volkreig if you squint looked like the term verry Volk(Wentz had a doctorate, he's dead now) Meaning the spooky candle circle was obviously a funeral ritual and inviting other people makes you die/is a bad omen. He keeps his oaths even if it hurts(dancing till you die?).

It's Razer, he's got fangs and nightvision and eats nearly 100% red meat. I doubt the man is unaccustomed to hunting or needing salt or jars for survival stuff. (No cheese though, he does not shake hands.)

Idk what kind of divination to use I started Hyperfixating on cartoons and noticed some things.

Even for an original character in the Green Lantern series, I think Razer in the YJ series should join the Reverse Justice League since he had great development balancing his anger and hope.

do you mean the Reserve Justice League?

it would be cool to see him working with the League but I think that's unlikely since he's never been to Earth and has only met two JLA members, that being Hal and Guy (I guess he sort of met Raquel and Jay but yeah). plus he's busy still searching for Aya

so while it would be cool to have him be a member, I don't see him actually being one

Brainrot from old animated show I watched as a child has hit so for the next few days I'll be so completely normal about green lantern: the animated series, more specifically about the characters Razer and Aya. A little more Razer

Time for rambling(Tw: Self harm/eating disorders/food insecurity/sewerslideal thoughts)

That being said on the very first episode and the 2-3 after this boy is begging for death. Like this dude is high-key suicidal after the 1 2 combo of believeing he's an unforgivable monster responsible for the destruction of a planet, as well as a couple other murders before hand(although not that many as it is implied he became a red lantern somewhat recently)and having been abandoned by the red lantern corps and left for dead, who where basically the only people he could relate to/rely on at the time

At this time he's not in the best state, basically yelling at hal Jordan to kill him , getting distressed when told he'll live with the conciqueness of his actions(which he already blamed himself for along with things that weren't actually his fault) barely caring when kilowok slammed him against a wall, and getting angry at Aya for breaking him out of what is effectively a gulag, fully believing he deserves what is happening to him.

Also, He is thin as fuck. like you can tell from his body shape in the suit (the power ring suits are usually skintight) and how his cheeks look somewhat sunk in. It could be that his planet was in war for a long time so he and some of his people where suffering from food insecurity and thus didn't have much to eat, which explains how skinny he is.

Though these issues do get resolved by the end of the series, and in young justice season 4 he returns and looks to be of a healthy weight, with his cheeks not so sunken in and his body looking a bit wider than it was on GL:TAS
