◆ वाणी नं. 146 :-

गरीब, बाण लगाया बालिया, प्रभास क्षेत्र कै मांहि।

सुक्ष्म देही स्वर्गहिं गये, यहां कुछ बिछर्या नाहिं।।146।।

◆ सरलार्थ :- श्री कृष्ण जी के पैर में बालिया नामक शिकारी ने तीर मारा। श्री कृष्ण जी की मृत्यु हो गई, परंतु सुक्ष्म शरीर स्वर्ग चला गया।(146)

◆ वाणी नं. 147- 149 :-

गरीब, दुर्बासा कोपे तहां, समझ न आई नीच।

छप्पन कोटि जादौं कटे, मची रुधिर की कीच।।147।।

गरीब, गूदड़ गर्भ बनाय करि, कीन्हीं बहुत मजाक।

डरिये सांई संत सैं, सुखदे बोलै साख।।148।।

गरीब, दश हजार पुत्र कटे, गोप�� काब्यौं लूटि।

गनिका चढी बिवान में, भाव भक्ति सें छूटि।।149।।

◆ सरलार्थ :- एक समय दुर्वासा ऋषि द्वारिका नगरी के पास वन में आकर ठहरा। धूना अग्नि लगाकर तपस्या करने लगा। दुर्वासा ऋषि श्री कृष्ण जी के आध्यात्मिक गुरू थे।

{ऋषि संदीपनी श्री कृष्ण के अक्षर ज्ञान करवाने वाले शिक्षक (गुरू) थे।} दुर्वासा जी की ख्याति चारों ओर द्वारका नगरी में फैल गई कि ऐसे पहुँचे हुए ऋषि हैं। भूत, भविष्य तथा वर्तमान की सब जानते हैं। द्वारिका के निवासी श्री कृष्ण से अधिक किसी भी ऋषि व देव को नहीं मानते थे। उनको अभिमान था कि हमारे साथ श्री कृष्ण हैं। कोई भी देव, ऋषि व साधु हमारा कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकता। श्री कृष्ण को सर्वशक्तिमान मान रखा था।

द्वारिका के नौजवानों को शरारत सूझी। आपस में विचार किया कि साधु लोग ढोंगी होते हैं। इनकी पोल खोलनी चाहिए। चलो दुर्वासा ऋषि की परीक्षा लेते हैं। श्री कृष्ण के पुत्र प्रधूमन ने गर्भवती स्त्री का स्वांग धारण किया। पेट के ऊपर छोटा कड़ाहा बाँधा। उसके ऊपर रूई-लोगड़ रखकर वस्त्र बाँधकर स्त्री के कपड़े पहना दिए। उसका एक पति बना लिया। सात-आठ नौजवान यादव उनके साथ दुर्वासा के डेरे में गए और प्रणाम करके

निवेदन किया कि ऋषि जी आपका बहुत नाम सुना है कि आप भूत-भविष्य तथा वर्तमान की जानते हैं। ये पति-पत्नी हैं। इनके विवाह के बारह वर्ष बाद परमात्मा ने संतान की आश पूरी की है। ये यह जानना चाहते हैं कि गर्भ में लड़का होगा या लड़की। ये यह जानने के लिए उतावले हो रहे हैं। कृपया बताने का कष्ट करें। दुर्वासा ऋषि ने ध्यान लगाकर देखा तो सब समझ में आ गया। क्रोध में भरकर बोला, बताऊँ क्या होगा? सबने एक स्वर में कहा कि हाँ! ऋषि जी बताओ। दुर्वासा बोला कि इस गर्भ से यादव कुल का नाश होगा। चले जाओ यहाँ से। सब भाग लिए। गाँव में बुद्धिमान बुजुर्गों को पता चला कि बच्चों ने ऋषि दुर्वासा के साथ मजाक कर दिया। ऋषि ने यादव कुल का नाश होने का शॉप दे दिया है। जुल्म हो गया। सब मरेंगे। अब क्या उपाय किया जाए? सब मिलकर अपने गुरू तथा राजा श्री कृष्ण जी के पास गए तथा सब हाल कह सुनाया। श्री कृष्ण जी से कहा कि इस कहर से आप ही बचा सकते हो। श्री कृष्ण जी ने कहा कि उन सब बच्चों को साथ लेकर ऋषि दुर्वासा के पास जाओ। इनसे क्षमा मँगवाओ। तुम भी बच्चों की ओर से क्षमा माँगो। सब मिलकर ऋषि दुर्वासा के पास गए तथा बच्चों से गलती की क्षमा याचना करवाई। स्वयं भी क्षमा याचना की। ऋषि दुर्वासा बोले कि वचन वापिस नहीं हो सकता। सब वापिस श्री कृष्ण के पास आए तथा कहा कि दुर्वासा के शॉप से बचने का उपाय बताऐं। श्री कृष्ण ने कहा कि जो-जो वस्तु गर्भ स्वांग में प्रयोग की थी। उनका नामों-निशान मिटा दो। उन्हीं से अपने कुल का नाश होना कहा है। कपड़े-रूई-लोगड़ को जलाकर उनकी राख को प्रभास क्षेत्रा में नदी में डाल दो। जो लोहे की कड़ाही है, उसे पत्थर पर घिसा-घिसाकर चूरा बनाकर प्रभास क्षेत्र में दरिया में डाल दो। न रहेगा बाँस, न बजेगी बाँसुरी। द्वारिकावासियों ने अपने गुरू श्री कृष्ण जी के आदेश का पालन किया। लोहे की कड़ाही का एक कड़ा एक व्यक्ति को घिसाने के लिए दिया था। उसने कुछ घिसाया, पूरा नहीं घिसा। वैसे ही जमना दरिया में फैंक दिया।

घिसने से उस कड़े में चमक आ गई थी। एक मछली ने उसे खाने की वस्तु समझकर खा लिया। उस मछली को एक बालिया नाम के भील ने पकड़कर काटा तो कड़ा निकला। उसका लोहा पक्का था। बालिया ने उससे अपने तीर का आगे वाला हिस्सा विषाक्त बनवा

लिया। कड़ाहे का जो लोहे का चूर्ण दरिया में डाला था, उसका तेज-तीखे पत्तों वाला घास उग गया। पत्ते तलवार की तरह पैने थे। कपड़ों तथा रूई-लोगड़ (पुरानी रूई) की राख का

भी घास उग गया।

Why Ancient Indian Literatures are Extinct today?

Ancient Indian Literatures were high even before few hundred years ago but now except few university courses under UGC India and some foreign enthusiasts in University of Michigan or University of Heidelberg etc, general students avoid reading those old articles.

Argument of this topic is why Indian students or their parents are not suggesting Indian Ancient History or Ancient literature as a career in today’s world?

If we go back to those beautiful pastimes of Indian education, from 3600 plus years ago, almost all great courses in Art, Literature, Science, Philosophy etc, were being taught only in Indian Universities.

Taxila or Takshashila University

Mithila University

Telhara University

Sharada Peeth Temple University

Nalanda University

Vallabhi University

Pushpagiri University

Odantapuri University

Vikramshila University

Sompura University

Bikrampur University

Morena Golden Triangle University

Kanthalloor Sala University

Jagaddala University and so on…

Some Indian scholars in Mathematics were Aryabhatta, Baudhayan, Brahmgupta, Bhaskaracharya, Mahaviracharya. Some famous scientists were Kanaad, Varahamihir, Nagarjuna. Medical Science was also highly developed in ancient India. It is hard to name all of them. Based on my minor research I have only few names as below.

“Aryabhattiyam” on Principles of Astrophysics - by Aryabhatta, 476 CE

“Artha Sasthra” on Commerce & Business Administrations – by Chanakya, 375 BCE

“Pancha Sidhanta” on Treatises on Astronomy – by Varahamihir, 505 CE

“Patanjalayoga Sastra” on Principles of Yoga – by Patanjali, 2BCE

“Charaka Samahita” on Principles of Aayurveda – by Charaka, 200 BCE

“Rasendra Mangalam” on Science of Alchemy – by Nagarjuna, 150 CE

“Vaiseshik Dashan” on Principles of Atomic Theory – by Kanaad, 6 BCE

“MahajyanayanaPrakara” on Principles of Calculus – by Madhava, 1340 CE

When ancient Indian sages discovered that the great details on Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Philosophy, Astronomy, Health, Linguistics etc., were all there in Vedas which were that time in the form of “Shruti” which were only in the form of “what was being heard” from early Sages, they converted them into “Smriti” which were nothing but story telling or narrations of Vedas. This is to make things easy for the readers with more explanations on each branch of studies. Also, to make Vedas easy for the readers, ancient sages have concluded almost all details in texts distinguishing each part of Vedas (they are – Samahitas , Aranyakas and Brahmanas) for easy understanding.

Those great maestros (ancient Sages) not only have left these great treasures for the future generations but also tried in multiple ways to distribute that precious knowledge into various education systems in terms of texts, narrations, debate, explanations from past times (The Puranas) and conclusions (The Siddhantas) through help of Kings.

It is on us to consider this premium knowledge still available in various forms or reject it and again keep hunting for the remakes in more cosmetic and customized way. The irony of remakes is most of times the core values and ideologies would dissolve in versions.
