Hi! I can’t seem to find any blogs like yours focused on punk or any sub genres. If you knew any others out there it would be amazing! If you don’t oh well, have a good day
I’m actually not super connected with the rest of the community on here, which is something I’ve been meaning to fix. I’m definitely opening this up for my followers to help anon and I if they’ve got suggestions.
Last time I checked most of the suggested blogs seemed abandoned, but that was probably more than a year ago now, so things could’ve changed.

I am becoming convinced that able-bodied people do not actually know what experiencing pain is like based on the way they talk about it.
To me, developing chronic pain gave me this moment where I was like, "Oh, this is what being in pain is ACTUALLY like. I am 24, and I have to learn how to be in pain." Sure, I've had twisted ankles, I broke my arm, I've had the flu. Temporary pain hurts and is valid, but you don't learn how to actually be in pain until you are in it all the time. It's a hard lesson to learn.

By the very definition of being disabled, a condition that is debilitating, hindering and DIS-ABLING
Your condition can, will and does stop you from doing things
That doesn't mean you're always entirely incapable, you can still be capable of things
But there's no shame in the cants. Nothing wrong with the can't dos. It's okay to let your disability stop you, that's pretty much the point of calling it a disability, of having one, is that there's some things you can't do.
That's fine.
So next time someone says some shit like "don't let it stop you" or doing something regardless of your condition
Ask them to define the word disability. Or just tell them to go fuck themselves cuz they are not with the spoons you could spend on something better.
