Mark my words: Another war is on its way.
Summary
Almost one year ago FIA agents and a mercenary known as V infiltrated the EBM Petrochem Stadium by stealing the identities of two Netrunners. Their mission: To bring back a rogue agent named Song So Mi, also known as Songbird. She had made a deal with Kurt Hansen to escape from her former employer - Rosalinde Myers, President of the New United States of America -but everything went anything but as planned.
The timing was right and Myers decided to take this opportunity and the agents on site to kill two birds with one stone. Cutting of loose ends on her intelligence and get rid of a person, who had been a thorn in her side for many years.
And she almost succeeded.
Game choices influencing the story
Run This Town: Jago and Bennett had a reason to work together. Mr. Hands therefore did not interfere
Canon Phantom Liberty Ending: King of Wands
Canon Main Game Ending: The Star
The door slid open quietly and Jago entered the room, that the Colonel had made his personal office in the Sapphire. It was a shell, like almost all the other rooms in the upper part of the tall building. It was also not an office as one would imagine or as one knew it from the city and the Corpo building complexes. The room was very spacious and took up almost an entire level of the Sapphire tower, as the partition walls had not yet been installed at the time of construction. The furnishings were spartan. A large table was the centerpiece, surrounded by a few chairs, a variety of technology for all possible purposes, most of them military, transport crates, seating for internal meetings and a wall on which various types of weapons were displayed. Surely this should have been a conference room at some point, which could have been booked for presentations or opulent corporate events, if the hotel ever been completed. The room surely missed it‘s intended purpose but it surely became a place of power.
In the past, the Colonel hadn't spent too much time here as his duties usually kept him busy at the stadium. However, this was no longer necessary, or rather possible at the moment.
„Good morning, Colonel.“
Jago paused, his tablet tucked under his arm, and waited near the door. As he did almost every morning, the accountant came to Hansen to keep him up to date with current events and business and, of course, to take his orders and requests for the day.
Since the attack in the stadium, Jago had temporarily taken matters into his own hands as best he could. He continued to take care of the books, ensured payments were made and received on time, organized meetings with business partners and clients, and still tried to work his way through the Colonel‘s endless list of contacts so they could keep to the usual schedule. Even though he would like to claim that he managed all of this on his own, he had to admit to himself, that without Bennett's help, this whole endeavor would be a very difficult one. The Lieutenant Colonel had the soldiers of Barghest firmly under control and took care of all matters where military handling was an advantage. Transportation, security in Dogtown, new recruits, expansion of the trade routes - these and similar tasks fell to Bennett. And to Jagos surprise, he fulfilled these tasks without hesitation. Of course not very elegantly or with the necessary sensitivity, but at least he delivered results.
Although they had always disliked each other, and it did not change during their collaboration at all, they were now united by the respect and trust they had for Hansen and did not want to break under any circumstances. The business had to go on and the cover had to remain intact.
The cover - A strange request that Hansen had imposed on Jago. Several days of worrying, hoping and waiting had passed before the Colonel regained consciousness after the attack and had a task for his confidant. Not to take revenge for the betrayal of Songbird or the attempted murder of Myers agent. No, he wanted them to let the world believe that Kurt Hansen had died. The accountant was unsure at first whether he even knew what he was saying or whether he was dazed and confused from all the painkillers. But he insisted. It's hard to believe the Colonel would admit to a mistake, but he wouldn't be broken by it. Quite the opposite. He would use it to his advantage.
How exactly, he didn't want to tell Jago, much to his regret, a least not yet. And if there was one thing the young man couldn't stand, it was not being involved in important issues and not beeing informed.
But he obeyed, like he always did.
What mattered was that the President and anyone else who might be interested in it thought he was dead. Even within Barghest, only a select circle of persons in leading positions knew of the Colonel‘s whereabouts.
It was sometimes very difficult to hide a prominent face like his in the small area of Dogtown where they did their business, but otherwise it would have been far too unsafe. Something could slip out, just one wrong word and the rumors would spread like wildfire.
The secrecy gave him the opportunity to plan his next steps in peace. At least that was the answer Kurt always gave him when Jago tried to find out more about what was going on inside of his head.
As instructed, Jago invented an alibi. He faked a surveillance video of an unknown perpetrator who gains access to the clinic and kills the defenseless Colonel. The accountant deliberately left open who the killer was or why he did it. The video then found its way into a not very tightly secured area on the subnet from where it would spread quickly and people would waste their time speculating. A very bold move, but to his surprise the bait was taken.
The next step was the funeral. An open casket with a fake corpse, many important people were invited and the members of the militia would have no reason to believe their leader was still alive.
Everything ran like clockwork and losses in the business were almost non-existent despite the reorganization. Just like many days and nights when Jago couldn't sleep even a tiny bit. It was an extremely challenging time, but in the end it was worth all the effort. After months of recovery the Colonel was very pleased to see, that his trust in him had not been in vain. He slowly started getting back to his tasks himself, taking care of the important decision and managing the business from behind the scenes. Jago and Bennett thus continued to serve as the executive forces.
The sun was still fighting its way through the thick morning fog in Dogtown, so it was quite dark despite the large windows on the other side of the room. Kurt stood behind the large table , hands clasped behind his back, looking down at the already busy streets. He slowly but steadily getting back to his old strength, but it was obvious that he had been confined to bed for many months.
He did not respond to his accountants greeting.
„Alright…“, Jago added more silently, slightly annoyed and made his way across the room to the big table.
He‘d known Kurt for almost seven years now and had probably gotten to know all of the temperamental man's moods during their close collaboration. However, this excessive brooding was new and Jago didn't quite know how to deal with it yet.
„We don't have too much to discuss today. Yesterday's inventory list of the delivery would be the first thing. Everything has been unloaded, sorted and the necessary items prepared for onward transportation. Unfortunately, it arrived incomplete. For the second time. We need to take care of this, it’s unacceptable. However, it will be difficult to find someone else from the region who can work with us.“ He paused, looked over to the Colonel to see if he was listening at all, but decided to continue.
„The second topic would be the balance sheet for the last month and we have ...ehh,“ he quickly switched through his files.
„Ah, here it is. Six new large orders since yesterday evening. There is nothing exceptionally difficult to obtain except for two types of vehicles I am not sure who to contact for. But surely you‘ll have someone in mind for that.“
Jago's gaze again wandered from the tablet in his hands to the man across the table. He was still standing motionless by the window, looking down at the streets of Dogtown.
He hesitated and stepped on the spot.
„Should I … just leave the documents here for you? Or come back later? We don‘t have to discuss all of that now if the timing doesn‘t suit you.“
No response.
„Kurt?“, he asked, now with a little more vigor in his voice.
The Colonel tilted his head slightly, but otherwise remained motionless.
„Do you know who Garmr is, Jago?“
Silence. Jago was confused and hat to sort himself out first. Then he cleared his throat.
„No, I‘m sorry. That doesn’t ring a bell, I am afraid.“
Kurt calmly continued.
„He‘s a creature of the nordic myths. Described as a bloodstained dog, caught in chains, doomed to guard the gates of the underworld. At the end of time, when the world as it was comes to an end and a new era dawns, he fights side by side with the giants, in the all-important battle against the gods and kills one of them.“
Jago still tried to follow up. He really hadn't expected that change of subjects from business to one of Kurt’s ominous comparisons.
„You‘re into vintage literature now? That‘s new.“ A joke, of course.
„No.“ Kurt slowly turned away from the window, arms still folded behind his back and made his way around the table, his cold gaze finally met with his accountant.
„It's more of a metaphor.“
Jago remembered the time when he had met the Colonel. At first, he found his presence admittedly intimidating, even though he had worked with many people from Night City's underground before that. He had also never really been able to put into words exactly what had triggered this feeling in him. His charisma, his background, knowing what the man was capable of? In the meantime, however, the two men met at eye level and respected each other. Actually after all that happened, more then ever.
It seemed as if the wrinkle between his brows was getting deeper by the day, but something else immediately caught Jago's eye. The long scar that stretched across Kurt‘s throat and down to his chest where one of the attacks of the agent hit him. The accountant would need some more time getting used to that sight.
Terrible and gruesome things always had been part of Jago‘s life. He’d seen more of it than other men his age would probably see in their entire life and he was more or less used to it. He was the first who entered the bar in the stadium, after the security system was hacked and chaos broke loose. Bennett should have been there with the Colonel all the time, but it seemed something else needed his attention before Songbird turned on them. After Hansen remained silent over the situation and no orders where given, he already suspected something went wrong and he went to see what happened at the meeting with the Netrunners.
The agent of the FIA had left a massacre. He‘d never forget that stench of iron in the air and the trails of blood running across the floor. Murphy sadly didn’t make it, alongside all the other soldiers who had been there at the time.
For him, it was still a miracle that Farida had managed to save the Colonels life. She had surpassed herself, but also pointed out, that the military armor he still had installed from his days at Militech, had taken a lot of the impact. Without it, he would undoubtedly have died on the operating table.
A bloodstained dog fighting against gods? Various thoughts flashed through his mind. And none of them appealed to him. Not at all.
„What would you do with the supplier? The one from the incomplete delivery?“, Kurt asked him, changing the subject back to business.
Jago tried to shake off his thoughts to concentrate on the important matters again.
„Well, we certainly have different options. We could first look for -“
„I don‘t want any options, Jago. I want an answer from you.“
The Colonel was now standing right next to him, looking at him intently. He did not bat an eye. Cold and appraising.
That was another thing Jago had to get used to. Of course, Hansen had often asked him for his opinion before. Not that he really needed it, but he appreciated his view on things because he often thought differently due to his position and abilities.
But these were no longer simple questions. These were lots of little tests that Jago had to pass. For what exactly? He couldn't say for sure at the moment. In any case, Hansen wanted him to prove his abilities as a leader and that he will still able to make decisions in his own interest.
„I would finish off the head of the group. One of the men in his crew seems more reliable to me. Maybe even malleable. I had a few words with him yesterday and the morale within the group is probably at a low point too. Maybe I can persuade him to give his superior a bullet to the head himself. With the prospect of a profitable collaboration.“
The Colonel nodded.
„Sounds reasonable. Promise him a bonus if he does it today. I don't want us to lose any more time and money because of these fucking amateurs. And I hope that other guy is aware of who he‘s working with.“
Jago nodded approving „All right. I'll take care of it immediately after we‘re done here."
"Actually, you can take care of it without further ado."
Hansen held out his hand to Jago, expecting him to hand over the tablet.
"Thanks for the update, I'll take a look at the sheet and the list of orders later. You can go now. I need to make a few calls through out he day."
"Anything I might be able to assist with?" Making calls was not exactly an activity a dead man would pursue. Jago had the feeling that the time of waiting for answers was slowly coming to an end.
The corners of the Colonel‘s mouth twitched.
"No, you've got enough to do already. It's just a few friends from the past. I think I can manage that by myself.“
Jago passed him the tablet wordlessly and nodded as a sign that he had understood.
Kurt took it, but immediately put it down on the large table next to him and made his way back to the large windows.
The accountant also slowly walked back to the door, but turned around just before he got there. It was probably in vain, but he couldn't help but ask in the hope of finally being included in the Colonel‘s plans.
„Some friends. Giants, maybe? Like the ones in your stories?“
Hansen laughed lightly but didn’t turn around.
„We’ll talk later, Jago. Go now.“
He paused for a moment, looked at the man on the other side of the room but then went on his way. He indeed had a lot of work to do.

The XIII Blade: Garmr
Tumblr media
Alright so I've talked a lot about this sword, how important it is to Venix, and how valuable it is, but given how long its been since he's used it in a fight I realized its also been a long time since I've explained what it can actually do. So we're gonna change that tonight. I'll start with its most obvious and apparent features first and work my way down from there.
The sword is about 3 and a half feet long from tip to pommel with a two handed grip. The reason there's two blades in the above picture is that its appearance. dark grey or silvery white, changes depending on the angle its viewed from. Its clearly a very pretty sword, but that certainly isn't enough to justify Venix's statement that its worth a castle and surrounding lands so lets get into what does justify that.
Garmr is one of the 24 Anathema Weapons created roughly 1800 years before the current day in Venix's story. It is no simple creation of steel, but made in part with the body of a dead god and the aetheric core of a powerful creature known as a Protodragon. Garmr was thought lost after the great war decades after its creation and was only recently found by Venix, making it one of the few Anathema weapons that lacks a long line of wielders.
I'll start with Garmr's most obvious ability since its likely the one that will cause the most conversation: like all Anathema Weapons, Garmr breaks magic. Any magic that comes into contact with the sword is nullified or redirected. This affect extends to magical creatures, making them vulnerable to blows from Garmr that they would likely shrug off from a normal sword.
Important Points
1: Garmr does not make Venix immune to magic. For some reason a lot of people read this ability and assume that it means Venix has some sort of magic nullification surrounding him. He does not. It is explicitly the sword that possess this ability. Unless he blocks or parries a magic attack with Garmr, he is still vulnerable to its effects.
2: Garmr is not a one hit kill weapon against magical creatures. No more than a normal sword is against a normal person. It merely bypasses magical defenses or invulnerabilities. A cut from Garmr against a creature or person affected by this will affect said person the same way a normal cut would effect a normal person.
3: and this is probably the most controversial point. Unless explicitly talked out with my rp partner, I am very liberal with my definition with magic. Garmr is supposed to provide Venix (a mostly normal albeit slightly enhanced human) with the ability to fight on equal footing with creatures that would normally be far above his scale. This point becomes extremely easy to get around if people 'well actually' a whole lot with the definition of magic. I usually define it as any power that grants a character or creature abilities beyond that of a normal human. This means Aether (the word used to describe magic in Venix's own setting) Ki, Spirit Energy, Chaos Power, Aura (note that in Venix's rwby verse Garmr is a very different weapon), Divine Power, Demonic/Infernal energy, psychic power, what have you, will constitute magic for purposes of Garmr's magic breaking. Again, if you want to flesh out more details, please feel free to shoot a dm and we can plot out how it will work. I'm usually open to compromise.
In addition to magic nullification, each Anathema Weapon is sentient. Not only choosing their wielder (indeed, a non chosen individual that attempts to use an anathema weapon will find it awkwardly balanced and unreasonably heavy, and will be unable to access any of its properties beyond their inherent magic nullification) but communicating with them telepathically and projecting an anthropomorphic image of themselves to their wielder. Garmr is currently still not fully awake, as though still shaking off its almost 2000 years spent inert and masterless. It is sometimes unresponsive to Venix's attempts at communication for long periods, although as their bond deepens he has noticed these periods of rest becoming shortsr.
Now, this is the two abilities that all Anathema Weapons share, but beyond this each one has a unique power it grants to its wielder. In Garmr's case, it imbues Venix with mist and frost based powers. Now the frost powers mostly take the form of low level ice magic and so there is little to go into detail on those. The mist abilities however deserve some explanation.
Garmr gives off a thick, cool mist on command that can quickly cover the area around Venix in fog. Doing this however usually makes it more difficult to use the other abilities as its influence is dispersed. Beyond this, Venix is also able to create what he calls a misty 'phantasm' to aid in battle that appears as a man wielding a copy of Garmr to strike at Venix's foes or block an attack for him. These phantasms only last for a short time, a few seconds at most, but can be 'rapid fire' summoned if Venix can keep the focus to continously direct its attacks. An act that he has noticed is becoming easier as Garmr awakens more fully.
The other ability Venix has discovered is temporarily turning himself into mist. An experience he describes as 'unpleasant'. As it narrows and deadens his senses, makes it impossible to breathe, and is extremely difficult to maneuver in. He can not do this for more than a few seconds at a time, and attempting to do it rapidly puts great strain on his mind and body. Venix hasn't yet attempted it past when migraines and vertigo set in, so he isn't sure what further side effects consistent use can have over periods of time. It is however, an extremely useful tool in his arsenal that can allow him to move quickly to close distances or escape from killing blows.
So there you have it. Everything about Garmr's abilities that you probably need to know. Hopefully this shows why Venix holds the weapon in such high regard, and why he views it as his partner and not simply a tool in his arsenal.

GoGo Season 2 Thoughts and Predictions
Hello my wonderful readers, I hope you’re all having a wonderful week. I finally have some time to myself and figured that alongside 2 or 3 requests I should make something a bit different. Since we have a second coming of GoGo coming I figured I may as well give my two cents somewhere. As such it will be opinion based and not very rooted in facts. If you’re looking for posts that handle more detailed coverage I would recommend “incorrecthousamoquotes” or just the LifeWonders Twitter pages respectively.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53YYqLmUXiU Anyways, to start I don’t think anyone saw a GoGo 2 coming. Everyone around me was more excited to see what the next reprint event would be since we had been following a pattern since Chapter 9 where we’d get a new event, a reprint and so on. Personally I am excited for the characters we’re getting with this event. I think that most of the GoGo boys had their alts coming for a long while now and I am really happy to see Dagon added to the game as an actual unit, but it’s unfortunate because Dagon is much like Triton where he’s limited to this event exclusively, so players who want him will have to summon on this event specifically. I don’t understand why they’d lock Jinn, Triton and now Dagon behind a specific event banner when characters like Ded and Krampus can be pulled in the normal gacha, but I guess it is to guarantee people pull. Also I do think that shop units will get an alt corresponding to their events since we’ve had Zao with his part 2 of the event alongside Durga, and now we have Kijimuna with a GoGo alt. So I won’t be surprised if we see another Christmas alt for Yule, a valentines alt for Sitri and so on. But a cardinal sin is not giving Kurogane an alt, he totally deserves on LifeWonders! But I’ll be happy if Kurogane gets an alt alongside Oz since the two are pretty close friends. On a lighter note our next free to play unit will be Astaroth and Astarte as a Duo unit of sorts similar to Hephaestus and Talos. I’m also glad to note that their illustrator, Takako Shimura, has worked on Lesbian and trans manga prior to releasing this character duo so it’s nice to see Housamo getting some more lesbian representation. I don’t have much to say on that front since I myself am not familiar with Shimura’s work, just that Astarte and Astaroth look really cute together.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8YZUiz0f9A
Alongside this news, we also got the release of Drama CD’s for both Garmr and Moritaka. It makes sense since the two are really popular characters in the community and that their voice actors always seem willing to help. (Kappei Yamaguchi voices a large number of Housamo characters) So for you Garmr and Moritaka fans (which should be all of you) can look forward to getting your hands on that.
As a quick note before I move on to the last thing on my mind today, Housamo will be having it’s anniversary on the 28th of this month. It’s very strange because we don’t get the anniversary til a little later, but Housamo did come out December 3rd so they might have a big event planned for the anniversary. Which makes for a perfect segway into...
https://twitter.com/kamekiti_360/status/1193841516738826241
So if you missed the end bit of the newest trailer or didn’t quite catch the ending because it was heavily blurred you can watch this video from Twitter right here which has that footage slowed down. As you can see, there appears to be animated clips of Claude and Snow, Arc, Kamui, Monobe Jinn and Triton as well. Most likely we’ll get more news on it during the anniversary but my thoughts are that we’ll be getting an OVA of Chapter 7. For starters the clips that are shown to us are all moments that happen in Chapter 7 because we don’t really see Arc or Kamui’s sword until Chapter 7, and we never really see the Shinjuku teachers gathered up in a dark room during any events except in Chapter 7. Also earlier this year on April 1st LifeWonders released a gag trailer for an 8-Bit Housamo RPG showcasing a scene from Chapter 7, so it would make the most sense to adapt that part of the story. It also makes a lot of sense since all of the cover boys have something to do that chapter and there isn’t a kiss scene to deal with the issue. It’s a good point to advertise the game. That’s also why I think it’ll be an OVA rather than a full on series since their main project has always been the game. Either way I am excited to see where this goes since this will be big for LifeWonders and the community.
And yeah, that’s all my thoughts recently about the latest Housamo developments. I’m just overall hyped to see what they have planned.

Took a break from some big projects to actually complete a piece. A little painting of a church grim-a shadowy hound believed to protect churchyards in parts northeastern Europe-though they may look similar they are not the same as black dogs in folklore-they are connected to a tradition of burying a dog in a new graveyard before anyone is laid to rest lest their soul be bound to protect the land . . . #grim #garm #garmr #blackdog #churchgrim #gothaesthetic #gothart #gothicart #gothicartwork #darkart #darkaesthetic #americangothic #countrygothic #mythology #mythicalcreatures #folklore #macabreart #darklandscape #esoteric #gothic #hellhound #graveyard #guarddog https://www.instagram.com/p/B9xsCCYpV90/?igshid=1mk0mlxg4b76g

Voltron has ended and I just finally digitalized my OC for the show...
Name: Blade Nadezhda Dunkeheit Titles: Einherjar of the Black Hound Garmr NA - 235
Age: Season 1 - 17 (22) Season 6 - 18 (23)
Birthday: May 23 Rebirth: November 28
Species: (Experimented) Human Heritage: German (Janus)/Russian (Allisa)
Relationships: Hunk - Best Friend Lance - Prank Partner Keith - Sparring Partner Pidge - Little Sister Figure Shiro - Uncle Figure Coran - Weird Uncle Figure Allura: Big Sister Figure Garmr - Friend and Hound Allisa - Deceased Mother Janus - Deceased Father
Weapons: Garmr - His Hound. Unlike the Lions of Voltron, Hound is a pendant that acts like a full body bayard. Created by Blade when a meteor of the same ore as Voltron fell on Earth. Due to it’s small size Blade couldn’t build a ship, hence why it is a pendante. Unlike the Lions, Garmr’s energy source is his Einherjar. Thus those who wishes to use him must need a large amount of quintessence within themselves. Allura, Lotor, Haggar, Blade and other Alteans are capable of using him. if someone uses him that lacks the required amount of quintessence, they will quickly tire out. Also unlike the Lions who sends signals or ideas to their Paladins, Garmr can talk to it’s Einherjar as one would normally talk to anyone. Body - Experimented body can control his biological components giving him abilities of numerous animals and aliens Magic - After consuming Altean hair he has given the ability of magic but he doesn’t know how to use it though.
Rules: 1. Anyone can give him an order 2. Any kind of order is acceptable. 3. Only the one who gave the order can cancel or change the order. 4. One order at a time. 5. Achieve the order at any means possible.
Personality: Kindly know he has two personalities. The reason for this is his body protecting him. Animals have self defense mechanism that protects them. His doesn’t protect him physically but emotionally. When fear overrides his system his self defense mechanism activates causing his brain to shut down all emotions. Only when he feels safe can snap him back to normal. Self Defense: Stoic and robotic. He follows the rules, making him the perfect tool for anything. His fighting capabilities during this phase is inhumanly great that Voltron fell before him during their first meeting in less than five seconds due to the lack of mercy and no fear of death. Normal: After being trapped in his self defense mechanism for nearly 17 years he is a bit shy and stoic towards new people. He often maintains distance towards newcomers and doesn’t trust easily. After gaining his trust he will show affection by physical touching. Which can be seen at the team when he constantly hug Hunk, carries Pidge around, massage Lance, pet Keith, arm wrestle with Shiro and teach the Alteans the Earth dances. He is also caring and fierce fully loyal once he trusts you. His fighting capabilities are still great in this phase but not as great when his self defense is activated due to his empathetic self. He is also known to call Pidge by her real name Katie, and calling Shiro by his first name Takashi and is also known to use German phrases from time to time. Russian phrases are rare but it also happens.
Backstory: His parents Janus and Allisa we’re both orphans. The two grew up in  the same orphanage in Germany and was never adopted. The two feel in love with each other as they grow up and helped around the orphanage. Later in their lives they became great scientists and got married. Allisa then became pregnant with Janus’ son. The two named him Blade after their first date when Janus tried to impress Allisa by carving their initials on a tree which Allisa replied sarcastically “Oh yes, bring a blade on a first date in a forest far away from civilization where no one can hear me scream is romantic.” Then tragedy struck the two. An accident occurred in their lab causing Janus to forget human emotions leaving Allisa. To make matters worse Allisa lost Blade in the accident. As a way to cope with depression Allisa kept Blade’s corpse in a specialized container as a reminder of the happy times. After five years she finds Janus again and found out he made a military organization with questionable morals named Angel Corps. In hopes of reminding Janus who she is, she joins the organization. After watching a documentary Janus sought to create the “perfect human”. A human capable of evolving so quickly that it can’t die by natural means. He instructs his scientists to create his desire by any means necessary. Some started from scratch, creating artificial humans, others started to experiment on young orphans, while Allisa who is slowly losing hope used Blade in the experiment. A lot of the experiments failed and died. A few like Allisa’s experiment succeeded. At first Allisa was filled with joy. She has managed to bring her son back to life. Until reality struck her that her son is to be made a soldier, a killer, a monster. Blade during the time was known by his code name. NA - 235. NA meaning Noah’s Ark which is the name of the project he is in and 235 as his number. He made friends with other experiments like him as they were all grouped up in a room. From time to time the scientists came to experiment on them. Little by little their numbers dwindle. The last experiment was the remaining experiments take a serum. Unlike 235 who was fine with the serum the rest of them turned into grotesque flesh monsters. Seeing his friends turn into such creatures scared him so much that the last experiment finally made 235 activate his self defense mechanism. And so he killed his friends when he was ordered by Janus. Allisa watched in horror seeing this. As the creator of the “perfect human” Allisa became Janus’ new assistant. Allisa accepts the “promotion” in hopes that she can keep her son safe. 17 years passed and a meteor fell. 235 was sent to investigate the it due to it’s abnormal readings. When he finds the meteor he called back the organization reporting his findings. Before the organization could give him a new order, a voice asked him to create something from the meteor. He does so with the voice guiding him and slowly made a pendant out of it. It is then revealed that the voice was Garmr. 235 gave the pendant to Janus when he was instructed to give him the meteor. Curious Janus wore it. Janus finding the pendant and the ore it is made of unique but ultimately useless gives it to Allisa.  Unknown to him Garmr tried to heal him. Slowly his emotions arise again and the memory of Allisa returns. Sure enough he looks and finds Allisa and asks her forgiveness. In joy Allisa does and the two planned to run away with their son for a peaceful life they originally planned. Unknown to the two a rival organization ordered 235 to destroy Angel Corps and to kill everyone involved in it. 235 follows this order. Allisa who had the pendant wished for someone to help her son. Garmr moved by her plea for her son and not for her life spoke to her. There the father and mother gave their quintessence to Garmr asking him to protect their son. When 235 finally killed the remaining people of Angel Corps, his parents, Garmr used the quintessence given to him to order 235 to use him. Garmr wants to fulfill the two’s wish but he doesn’t know how. He is young and has no experience with caring for another. And this robotic phase he is in isn’t a sickness since it’s natural for his body to engage in this weird self defense so he can’t heal him like what he did to Janus. Then he hears a roar of five lions, sensing they are like him he orders Blade to search for the Pride. The Pride of Voltron. Months passed and Voltron hearing a howl leads the Paladins to a moon. There they found Blade but Garmr who was scared for his Einherjar after the Galra continuously attack them both thought they were enemies and ordered Blade to fight them. In five seconds Blade defeats them. After hearing the the Voltron Lions roar, Garmr realizes he has found the ones who can help Blade, telling him to stop. After the fight Garmr apologizes and pleads for the Lions to help his Einherjar. Hearing this the Pride accepts his apology and promises to help Blade, coaxing their Paladins to welcome Blade into their group. The group naturally wasn’t so trusting with Blade at first. They also soon found out that he will obey any order which Lance used to his advantage to prank them all. In irritation Keith accidentally ordered Blade to kill Lance. Keith managed to cancel the order in time but in doing so they grew to hate Blade ordering him to isolate himself in a room. The only one was kind enough to visit and try to befriend him was Hunk. Bringing him food, talking about random things, asking about his life. With Hunk’s kindness Blade slowly felt safe until his body deactivates his self defense phase. After 17 years Blade finally cries into Hunk’s arms. After this he slowly bonds with the rest of the group who slowly but surely accepts him. Now he fights with them and depending on their choices, his future will change.

KZK Discord Digest #2 [Week(ish) of Dec 21 - Dec 26 2018]
BLAU NOTES:
THIS IS YOUR ADVANCE NOTICE! DIREPUPPERS SOON! IF YOU WANT TO PREORDER OR REFUND/EXCHANGE, DO IT SOON! Direwolf status: Tail-end of scripting / beginning of alpha testing. All that's left afterward is beta testing & packaging. Direwolf release plan: Before end of year! (Exact day not picked yet, but it’s less than a week from New Year’s!) Preorder devkits (devkit + fatpack) are still available & will be taken care of during beta testing, when Kat has a few hours to spare.  Direwolf prices WILL NOT be changing post launch. Refunds / exchanges for the Direwolf WILL END after launch. They'll then have the same policy as all our other avs (no refund/exchange except in case of SL/server error). Preorder bonuses (Direwolf plushy av & 2 free skins) will ship a little later than the Dires themselves (soon as Kat gets home from his trip).

Dec 22, 2018
[10:39 AM] Blau: Yo folks. Been seeing it asked a lot- the direwolf price ***will not*** be increasing after release.
HOWEVER. once it releases, refunds and exchanges WILL end (ie. Same policy as our other avs). If you are debating that get it taken care of soon.
We will give you guys advance notice beforehand. Cheers @everyone

Dec 25, 2018
[1:48 PM] Kat: @everyone A Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! Its just barely the afternoon and I'm already two shots in and feeling it. I hope you're all enjoying your days, and I hope that no matter how you celebrate, whether its with friends, family, or alone (For the record, I'm absolutely hugging you right now if you are, Behemoth cuddles anyone?) Just remember to do so responsibly. I hope your potatos are perfectly mashed, your ham warmed to that deliciously juicy temparture and no one glitterbombed you. Happy Holidays from all of us at Kinzart  (My stomach is empty so i miggght  be a little buzzed already ;D..I dont drink like i used to haha)

Dec 26, 2018
[5:56 PM] Kat: @everyone So I'm definitely on track to get the Dires out by the end of the year. Today i solved a major bug with the HUD that's been bugging the ever loving fuck out of me for the past few years, which has me in a pretty good mood. With the HUD working as expected, I'm FINALLY able to get to the inifial alpha testing. This phase is usually pretty short, with me just doing  cursory once-over on the avatar. Once I get the scripts into the avatars and test those, the av will go into proper beta testing. That isn't to say we haven't been testing lots of things along the way, this just means that it'll get tested more broadly internally so we can find any major bad behavior. Testing is all that's left before its packed and ready to go.  Like before, be sure to lend us any spare energy so we can get this spirit bomb of a project done!
[6:01 PM] Kat: @everyone Now, since 99% of this time has been spent getting the Dires done and in good working condition, it means the preorder bonus will be late to the show--but that's fine! it'll mean I'll have more time to make it as cute as it can be! and I'll also take that time (once I'm back from my trip), to get the Garmr and Helhund skins done (remember that these will be free gifts as thanks for everyones patience!)  Once I am back from my trip, I'll take a day to relax, play a game maybe, before focusing on doing any MAJOR bug fixes on the Dire (one or two are bound to slip thru!) and get the plush/skins done to send out!
[6:04 PM] Kat: @everyone SORRY FOR NOTICE SPAM! but lots to cover as we approach that special day! Naturally many of you are asking 'Kat if the av's coming out soon, can I please get the dev kit/my preorder changed?' The answer is Let me get them into beta first, then I'll have a few hours that I can handle all of this in bulk! I wil be honoring the cheaper bulk price for the dev kit preorder bundle, so if you wish to get the dev kit for 2k less, (which includes a fatpack preorder), That'll be the best time to do that. Thank you all, seriously! This project has been an absolute beast to overcome but we're so close!

Honestly rewrote some parts of my AUs prologue several times because I couldn't decide if I want Bennett in it. I don't really have a purpose for him in the story and he was sitting in the bar at the stadium so I thought: yea Alex killed him aswell who cares. But now that I know he's the biggest snitch ever I am glad he's still alive and Kurt can find out about it. He won't be pleased.

OC INTERVIEW
Thanks for tagging me @chevvy-yates! 💚
Decided to do this with one of the OCs for my fic I kind of introduced a while ago. Hopefully will give me some motivation to work further on it. Sadly hadn't have the time do draw her yet (sad noises no PC no mods for me). Regular character creation wasn't even close on how I want her to look. So no piccy yet :(
Really like your idea of letting the oc answer some questions directly. Will do that aswell.
Note: Not all answers don't fit 100% anymore cause I developed her further since I did this Interview
NAME?
"Alyona Petrova."
She actually gets kinda mad if people call her by her full name. She has a difficult relationship with her family and wants to leave everything about them in the past. Therefore she chose a short nickname through which she can identify herself better. Besides, in her business it is better not to mention official names and go with an alias.

NICKNAME?
"Aon. I prefer that."
It's pronounced like A-On.
_____
GENDER?
Cis Female
_____
STAR SIGN?
"I won't tell you my birthday. And all of this astro-shit is a waste of time anyway."
Would say she's a Capricorn? Don't know much about astrology tho :/
_____
HEIGHT?
"1,70 m. Pretty average. Like those questions."
Her size and figure allows her to fit into fairly narrow and tight spaces. Unlike many of her workers, mainly large men with big muscles, she has the advantage in the construction and assembly of complex machines.
_____
ORIENTATION?
Hetero
She and Kurt have thing going on no one else knows about. So never ask her about anything pointing in that direction. Since they don't see each other that often in person things can go... out of hand. And she would be embarrassed if someone knew about that since their friendship can be described as very strong, but is also characterized by a lot of teasing and professional distance if you look at it from the outside.
_____
FAVORITE FRUIT?
"Fruits are plants, right. Tobacco is a plant, too. Does that count? Tzz.. I don't know. I like to put frozen berries in my drink sometimes. So berries then."
She has a smoking problem. Not like chain smoking, but on a regular base. Alcohol, on the other hand, is really more for her to enjoy. Frozen fruits in drinks instead of ice cubes is a life hack tho.
_____
FAVORITE SEASON?
"Doesn't really matter, as long it's not too warm. I can't stand a lot of heat. If possible I'll always sent some of my workers for jobs in the warmer regions. Of course only if they are capable of doing the job."
Most of the work is done in her workshop in Russia anyway, but occasionally it is easier or more efficient to work on site with her clients. If possible, she always tries to avoid this.
_____
FAVORITE FLOWER?
"Pfff.. I don't care. Some of them are pretty, sure. But if you want to impress me, give me something usefull and not some plant that'll die within a few days anyway."
_____
FAVORITE SCENT?
"The scent in my workshop. Thick oil, warm metal, rubbery, a hint of CHOOH2, a little dust in the air. The fresh and cold air outside, after a long day of work is really refreshing, but I wouldn't want to miss that smell."
You know that smell when you enter a car workshop? That.
_____
COFFEE OR TEA?
"Coffee. If I want to drink water I prefer it cold. And without taste. Something stronger would be even better."
_____
AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP?
"I try to stick to a good routine. 6-7 hours. My people say I'm even more unbearable when I don't get a good night's sleep. And I can't stand a bad mood at work. Please kill me if I have a jetleg. That's the worst."
She's a very disciplined person.
_____
DOG OR CAT PERSON?
"Cats. Dogs are fucking exhausting. They want your attention all the time and can't handle themselves for longer than a few hours. I had a cat at the workshop once. He catched his own food, he got out of my way, came for a pet now and then. His name was Bill."
She always teases Kurt that cats are so much better than dogs.
_____
DREAM TRIP?
"I have been all around the globe and nothing really sparked that much joy yet. But I don't have time for vacation or silly little trips anyway. I like my home. Why go anywhere else."
There are place she hasn't been too obviously but like she said: she rather stays at home if she has some free time and pursues her interests or just rests.
_____
FAVORITE FICTIONAL CHARACTER?
"Beatrix Kiddo. When I was a child my mother moved in with a man she liked. Different story, won't tell that now. I never liked the capital or big cities in general, but there was a little thrift shop at the corner of the house we lived in. The owner, a really old but really sweet man showed me his age old collection of movies. VHS, DVDs, bet no one these days will remember what those are. I came there once a week and we watched a movie togehter after he closed the store. He was such a big nerd. Tarantinos movies where my favorite. Probably not the kind of stories you should show to a child but I loved it. Kiddo is a badass women and I always wanted to become strong and fierce like her."
Who doesn't like Tarantino?
_____
NUMBER OF BLANKETS YOU SLEEP WITH?
"One...? What kind of stupid question is that?"
_____
RANDOM FACT?
Besides forging knives she recently started getting into distilling her own spirits. She came up with a decent gin and will refine the recipe.
_____

Did a thing for my Kurt fanfic thing.
Don‘t know if I am 100% satisfied with it now (don’t like the broken chain links) but overall a good first draft.
Think I‘ll go for the blue version in the end. Will do a introduction post for the fanfic as soon as I finished writing the short prolog.
Yey progress!

I've been thinking a lot about Kurt and Aon after PL for my main fanfiction over the last few days. Take your time CDPR. I don't need a new brainrot through Witcher or the next Cyberpunk for a long time. I need to savor the fact that for the first time in my life I've managed to invent a female OC that gives me a lot of joy. And that I've tripped myself up and made a ship out of it that I'd be sinking to the bottom of the f-ing ocean with at the moment.

Alyona „Aon“ Petrova
Well, what can I say about Alyona - sometimes she's a pain in the ass. Or rather, almost always. Nevertheless, I count her among my closest friends and, more importantly, among my most valuable business partners. You send her some blueprints of unreleased tech and she builds, what ever it is, in no time. If you add a few extra eds on top, she even comes up with unique "special features" for the client.
We've known each other for over ten years now, and I've often offered her to work for me here in Dogtown. Offers that would have made others fall to their knees in joy. She just always said that I could go fuck myself.
Well, she values her independence more than anything, and unfortunately I had to learn to accept that.

Made myself a AO3 account and put the first chapter of my AU there. Not a big fan of the site yet but it’s probably just a „need-to-get-used-to-it-thing“.
Will probably put all future chapters there and post the link here. Hope I checked all the right boxes so everyone can read and comment if you like.

As there are too many nerve-wracking things happening in real life at the moment, I haven't made much progress on my Kurt AU yet. But luckily I'm on vacation next week!
At least I've set myself a few framework conditions and worked a little on the first OC. Her name will be Aljona Petrova, short Aon. Excited to share some details soon.
