NEW OVERSEAS TOUR FOR CROWN PRINCESS

The Palace announced today that Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess will go on a 3-day visit to Simdia in the Spring. 

The upcoming visit is conducted at the request of the government. More information regarding the visit will be released to the public soon.

The visit will be The Crown Princess’ first official trip to Simdia. The upcoming trip will be the first time in over twenty years that a member of the Brindleton Royal Family will visit the southern state. The first Brindleton Royals to visit were the late King Leopold and Queen Ophelia. Queen Emilia and Princes Jacques also had a quick tour of the country as newlyweds some years ago.

My thoughts on Tears of the Kingdom and the Zelda Timeline

Spoilers for the entire main quest. (minus the final boss)

We’re good? We’re good.

I’ve been thinking about Tears of the Kingdom’s timeline placement a lot and I think there’s only two reasonable conclusions.

1) BotW/TotK take place ridiculously far into the future (which is what Aonuma said iirc) 2) BotW/TotK take place in a new continuity and the other Zelda games are misconstrued myths

The second one is what really interests me for some reason. I used to dislike this theory because like, why would the games we’ve been playing for over 30 years just be in-universe fiction?

But the more I think about it, the more I like it both from an in-universe and out-of-universe perspective.

The first timeline; all the way back in 1991. This is a translation of it:

Era of Myth Three gods of power, wisdom, and courage create heaven and earth, leaving the Triforce behind as their symbol.

Discovery of the Triforce Birth of Ganon Ganon discovers the Sacred Realm, touching the Triforce. Ganon is reborn as the Demon King. Imprisoning War

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past The Rise of Agahnim Towards the revival of the sealed Triforce and Ganon, one of Ganon's men, Agahnim, begins to move. The story of the latest game begins here.

The Legend of Zelda The Resurrection of Ganon Ganon, having obtained the Triforce of Power, attacks Hyrule once again. The first game in the series, with Link as the main character.

The Adventure of Link Link: 17 years old A mysterious crest appears on Link's hand when he turns 17. The second game in the series that touches on the mystery of the Triforce of Courage and the first Princess Zelda.

Do you notice any similarities to later Zelda games? Let's look at a timeline of the newer games.

Ocarina of Time Birth of Ganon Ganondorf discovers the Sacred Realm, touching the Triforce. Ganondorf is reborn as the Demon King Ganon. Seven years later, the seven sages help Link defeat Ganon. Zelda sends Link back in time to relive his childhood. Twilight PrincessThe Rise of Zant Towards the revival of the sealed Ganon, one of Ganon's men, Zant, begins to move.

It's the same framework for the story, just told in a new vision! Doesn't it sound similar to what we know in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom?

King Rhoam mentions that "stories of Ganon were passed from generation to generation in the form of legends and fairy tales." It could be that instead of figuratively meaning the Zelda series, he means it in an in-universe sense too, which are the many Legends of Zelda we see based on misconstrued info from the BotW/TotK timeline.

For what it's worth, there have been more Calamities than just the ones 100 and 10,000 years ago. Maybe there were some that led to myths being created, myths that are the other Zelda games we see.

TL;DR: The pre-BotW games are misconstrued myths based on true events in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom's history. For example, Ocarina of Time is a myth or fairy tale based off of the actual Imprisoning War.

DUCHESS OF SHIKOKU  VOICES LACK OF CONFIDENCE IN CROWN PRINCESS

The Duchess of Shikoku voiced a lack of confidence in Crown Princess Fumiko and announced today that she is putting forward a petition for the Duke of Kansai, Minamoto Daisuke, to be named Crown Heir. Minamoto is the cousin of Princess Fumiko.

In her statement, the Duchess said, “Since being named Crown Heir, Princess Fumiko has not shown a commitment to the very demanding job of being Crown Heir. She has only engaged in vanity projects and flits in and out of her duties. In contrast, Duke Minamoto has built political relationships and continued to run a business that provides a livelihood for over 150 thousand Japanese citizens.”

The Duke was not immediately available for comment, and the palace is expected to respond soon. It is also expected that more nobility will sign the petition in the coming weeks before it is presented to the Empress.

AaaAAAA I wish I could look hella like a nerdy little twink but unfortunately I can't get hair shorter than 3 inches cuz my hair is SUPER STRAIGHT and I WILL look like a ghibli soot ball and I WILL wakw up every day with embarassing bed hair. Alternatively I also want suuuuuper long (we're tallking floor-length) entirely peachy pink hair, straight cut bangs and side hair included. Review:

She is a Kinnaree who accidentally puts on dancing shoes that apparently are cursed and now she’s entangled with a handsome vampire who is willing to do anything to get the artifacts from her and maybe steal her heart along the way. Peeraphan “Punch” Rahttana is a dancer in Seattle, but her secret is that she is actually a Thai bird Princess known as a Kinnaree (wings included and animal guardians too). When she tries on beautiful red shoes she knows she feels something off but she doesn’t know what, until a dark and brooding vampire appears who claims to be part of a secret organization dedicated to locating objects of myth and magic to make sure they don’t harm anyone... except now the shoes are stuck on Peeraphan, and the curse is very much active and attached to her. Bennet now has to retrieve the artifacts from Peeraphan without killing her and free her from the curse, as well as keep other artifact hunters from going after her. Peeraphan finds her quiet life in Seattle now completely upturned as she is thrown into the supernatural world of vampires, werewolves, fae, and so much more, and she is now searching for answers on what she is herself. Yet the more time she spends with Bennett the more their connection and chemistry grows and despite the fact that he is definitely not available they are drawn to each other. Can they break the curse before it’s too late or will the shoes fulfill the curse and kill her? This is the first book in a series and I had fun with it. It definitely was a fun read and I enjoyed the romance between Peeraphan and Bennett. I can’t wait to see where the next book goes and what new adventures or characters are introduced!

I so so so wish this was coming out of some kind of feeling about Fakir. I know she’s upset about him probably drowning at the bottom of the lake right now, she has anime yelled, and I’m there and I get it, but I would be so much more delighted if she was like, “I’m not going to declare my love to Mytho, I am going to dance across that damn lake, grab the shard and SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS, for Fakir.” Or for herself! I mean, I can totally make it into “Fakir wanted to protect mytho, and now that he’s gone I’m going to do it in HIS HONOR” and I have no trouble going there but for the fact that this has been Ahiru’s statment all along, right up to mere minutes ago. There’s no change in her, Fakir’s sacrifice and death doesn’t seem to have done anything for her despite her and FAkir having had more of a bond than she and Mytho ever did. 

Is that the point??? Is that she is missing the real story aROUND HER BECAUSE SHE’S BOUND TO THE IDEA OF PRINCE-PRINCESSTHE POINT???

PALACE ISSUES RARE STATEMENT CONDEMNING “VICIOUS ATTACKS” ON CROWN PRINCESS

The often tight-lipped Royal Family, known for its no-complain, no-comment policy, has broken its own rule when it issued an official statement this morning, regarding the current controversies surrounding The Crown Princess.

In the statement, the Palace decries the “blatant and vicious attacks that attempt to undermine Her Royal Highness’ character.”

This is, of course, in line with the flood of criticism hurled towards HRH, for allegedly dating one too many men at the same time.

The Palace also denounced the media’s “abhorrent invasion of HRH’s privacy.” It can be recalled that the “beach photos” showing HRH with the Duke of Lakan was taken well within the Brindleton Castle grounds. The shots appear to have been captured by long lens cameras from a distance, perhaps on a boat or near neighbouring properties. Similarly, the photos of HRH with Sterling Guildford were taken at a private party, through a window. Like the earlier beach photos, the pictures were said to be captured by telephoto lenses.

And lastly, perhaps in an effort to finally quell the rumours, the official statement also touched on the subject of whether or not HRH is the woman in the alleged photographs: “HRH does not know, has never met, and is not, in any way, associated with Mr. Romero or his family.” - If that’s not a denial, we don’t know what is!

When asked whether or not HRH is in a relationship with The Duke or Mr. Guildford, the Palace spokesperson simply retorted. “No, on both counts.”

So there you have it: 

1. The Crown Princess is single (for now, at least);

2. She is not the woman in the Romero photos; and 

3. The public has been needlessly harassing a young woman for being friends with more than one man. 

No wonder HRH is reportedly suffering from anxiety. As if being the heir to the throne isn’t enough pressure already.
