ive decided to start shamelessly romanticizing and hyping the art my two year old class creates. this is a group piece inspired by claude monet (our artist of the month) and his many many paintings of waterscapes.
a highlight of working on this piece was one of my girls stopping dead in her tracks while gluing on tissue paper scraps and announcing, "we're making water!!"
this is one of my favorite pieces we've made together 😌
Thanksgiving is a time for gathering with family and friends, expressing gratitude, and enjoying delicious food. It's also when we decorate our homes with festive decor to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. If you're looking for a unique and handmade Thanksgiving decoration or craft idea, consider a 3D layered freestanding wooden turkey figurine.
These turkeys are handmade using traditional woodworking tools and techniques, ensuring that each one is high-quality and unique. They come unfinished and unpainted, perfect for customizing any decor style. You can paint them in traditional Thanksgiving colors like brown, orange, and red, or get creative with your unique color scheme.
Kids and adults alike will enjoy using these turkeys in their Thanksgiving crafts, whether as a centerpiece, ornament, or rustic decoration. The size of each turkey is approximately 4 inches in height, 3 1/2 inches in width, and 1 1/2 inches in thickness, making them easy to display on a mantle, tabletop, or shelf.
It's important to note that since each turkey is handmade using natural wood and wood products, there may be slight variations in appearance from one item to the next. The natural variations in wood grain, color, and knots add to the item's character and charm, so they should be expected and are not considered defects. If you have any concerns or would like to request a specific look or size, you can contact the creator before placing your order, and they will do their best to accommodate your request.
These 3D layered freestanding wooden turkey figurines are handmade in Tallahassee, Florida, USA. So, if you're looking for a unique and meaningful way to decorate your home this Thanksgiving, consider adding a handmade 3D layered freestanding wooden turkey figurine to your collection.

based on a real-life conversation that happened with me and my students when i was a kindergarten teacher. very small children are some of the most ruthless and funny people i've ever met. it's an absolutely lawless land in the classroom (they were very sweet though!)
Preschool has so many activities for kids. But not all the preschools are the best for the kids. Let's explore what do kids learn in preschool in 2023. And make sure that the preschool should have these activities included in their curriculum. Follow for more such information @digitalmurgi
this one is a lot more simplistic and strictly for fun. we celebrate international dot day at our school, a day inspired by peter h. reynold's book the dot. dot day is a celebration of courage, creativity, and collaboration. for this piece, we simply gave the kids bingo dobbers anf let them have at it on a piece of paper to their hearts' content. this was earlier on in the school year, when we still weren't quite sure how to work together to make art and got frustrated easily when we ran into each other. this is a nice piece to look back on, simple as it is, because it's a great marker for how far we've come.
