Empress Market name after Queen Victoria, Empress of India. The market was constructed at a well-chosen site that was clearly visible from a great distance. The site of the market had historical significance as it was situated on the grounds where a number of native sepoys were executed in a ruthless fashion after the Indian Uprising of 1857 (The Mutiny of 1857). Accounts mention that the sepoys had their heads blown off by cannonballs in an attempt to suppress any mutinous feelings among the locals. #slaughter #house #history #empress #market #prepartition #culture #potd #Karachi #street #photography #photographer #instagood #instadaily #pakistan #pakistaniblogger (at Empress Market)

It would be ‘mistake’ for India to view Pakistan with a pre-partition eye: Prez Alvi
Islamabad: It would be a “mistake” for India to check out Pakistan with the eye of pre-partition and its motivation for peace must not be misconstrued as a indicator of weak spot, President Arif Alvi explained on Saturday as Islamabad exhibited its armed service could possibly on the Countrywide Day.
Alvi was addressing the annual Pakistan Working day Parade right here to commemorate the resolution handed by the All-India Muslim League on the working day in 1940 in Lahore demanding a independent region for Muslims.
The National Day showcased a joint parade by the military, air drive and navy, show of military services hardware, along with open and veiled anti-India rhetoric.
“It was the duty and duty of Pakistan to reply to the Indian aggression… We responded with better tactic,” Alvi claimed, apparently referring to the downing of an Indian Air Drive jet.
Alvi claimed India’s actions jeopardised peace in the area.
“It would a oversight on aspect of India to view Pakistan with the eye of pre-partition. Carrying out so would be incredibly unsafe for the region’s balance.
“India will have to take Pakistan as a fact, and it must occur to the conclusion that dialogue is the only way to take care of issues,” Alvi reported at the ceremony where Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad was the visitor of honour.
He stated Pakistan would like tranquil co-existence but its “desire for peace ought to not be misconstrued as weakness”.
“We are a peaceful nation, but are not oblivious to our defence, and the exact has been proved in the current demonstration of Pakistan’s defence capability,” he mentioned, including that Pakistan is a liable nuclear condition and respects integrity and sovereignty of other states.
Alvi explained the country is harmless and relocating on the route of development and growth just after properly combating the menace of terrorism.
The president also inspected the parade in advance of his handle.
Contingents, paratroopers and fighter jets from Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, China, Bahrain and Sri Lanka also took component in the parade.
Shahper and Buraq drones were also shown in the parade alongside with distinct missile devices like Nasr, Babur, Shaheen 1, Ghuri, Shaheen 111 amid some others, and defence units as very well as tanks.
The working day dawned with 31-gun salute in the federal money and 21-gun salute in provincial capitals.
Special prayers were also presented in mosques right after early morning prayers for the country’s development and prosperity.

https://educaciofisicapep.wordpress.com/2019/02/03/alcanar-vila-real/
Futbol a Vila-real.
