Today marks 25 years since the Powerpuff Girls first aired on Cartoon Network.

A cartoon series of three superpower girls 25 years of fighting crime and saving the world before bedtime.

I officially submitted my official fan-work for the 25th Anniversary of the Powerpuff Girls as November 18, 1998 premiered the first TV series episode of the popular series, much like i did many years ago here's my wallpaper of the Powerpuff Girls for the celebration of it's series anniversary.

Hook Up Animation made a promo for Cartoon Network's 30th anniversary featuring a lot of characters from all eras of Cartoon Network, and they just posted it on their Instagram. From the original Hanna-Barbera library, to the Cartoon Cartoon era, to the Cartoon Network Renaissance, to the current era. It is in Spanish, but I think everyone will get the final joke at the end.

And yes, it has both the original Powerpuff Girls and the Reboot Puffs in the same promo.

Honestly I just wanna rewrite Bliss from the ground up.

she's the result of the final Powerpuff Xtreme's battle, a new creation from the conglomeration of parts and ingredients, recovered from Dick Hardly' destroyed factory by Agent Honeydew

less stable than the original PPGs but way more stable than the Xtreme's with the help of technicalogical enhancements as well as Honeydew's training

Special Power: Telekinesis (limited), Telepathy

Initially has a VERY awkward relationship with the Girls and the Professor bc she remembers the final fight between the Xtremes and Hardly, but things eventually smooth over

Since Tara Strong turned out to be a shitty person, and the PPG are coming back which possibly means season 1 is in production, here are some actresses that should replace Tara for the role of Bubbles:

Maryke Hendrikse (it’s very hard to spell her name): voiced Bubbles in the PPGZ anime. Maryke doesn’t grate my ears unlike Tara.

Kristen Li: voiced Bubbles in the 2016 reboot. I know Craig McCracken hates the 2016 reboot, but at this point, she’s the most likely choice without going to Canada. Plus like Maryke, Kristen’s take on Bubbles doesn’t grate my ears.

UPDATE: Claire Corlett: voiced Sweetie Belle in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. G4!Sweetie Belle is based on Bubbles, thanks to Lauren Faust working on both shows.

Additional Notes: You can have enjoyed PPG 2016 as a guilty pleasure or even unironically AND admit it was not a high-point for the franchise. You can do both. It's 2016 to 2020 because the CW show was announced in 2020 and was cancelled. So it makes sense to leave 2020 as the final date rather than 2023 since it probably dropped development long before it was cancelled
